- I love One Punch Man. I may have mentioned that before. Ever since I did my first cover of the battle theme, I have been putting off doing Genos' Theme.
It was not only intimidating in the fact that it seemed like it would be hard to play(which it was), but I had no clue if I could pull off the electronic style with the guitar / metal style I usually do, or if I should just to a straight metal cover of it.
So yeah, this whole thing was kind of an experiment, didn't know if it would work out or not but I gave it a go. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Once again, the OPM ost is incredible, adds so much to the show. Makoto Miyazaki is a genius.

When Genos's training becomes reality and he finally doesnt get crushed by any monster so easily
He doesn't, he just had really tough fights from the beginning. Seeing how he owned the main antagonist in S2 he is on another level already.
Dude just take a look at whom he went up against so far! Even no 3 was amazed by his dedication to save humanity when he nearly sacrificed himself to stop that meteor from falling on the city. Dude made entire sky go red !
He does good. But most of the monsters he's fought onscreen, had either OP skills, or just had a singular advantage

This track honestly sounds like the true better version to Genos’s theme. It’s badass like it’s predecessor but it has that heroic tone to it that, imo, the original lacked. It’d be very cool if this could somehow be used in season 2 of opm

This sounds like a mix of Power Rangers mega force, Sonic Frontiers, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Xenoblade, Tekken6 and RWBY all in one nothing can get better than that 🤞🏾🔥

Nah, not yet anyways. I've never watched Dragon Ball so the urge to cover stuff from it isn't really there for me like it is with a lot of the stuff I end up covering. That being said, if any music hits me right / leaves an impression on me theres a chance I'll cover it. I'm open to any suggestions/recommendations you might have :)
