Ok, so today I made some of these for my grandkids. I had already cooked and stored my Isomalt, so I only had to melt it. I used large pumpkin cutters with a smaller pumpkin for the hole. The cookies were orange vanilla and came out perfect. My Isomalt was crystal clear. The problem? I poured them face up and I must have put too mush Isomalt in the holes because there is not room now for the sprinkles. I was so disappointed. I know many people use a third cookie in the middle but I think that’s makes it too thick. Did you fill your cookies all the way to the top with the Isomalt? Also, what thickness did you cut the cookies? I used 1/4 inch. Thanks for your great tutorials. I subbed you from the first video I watched!
Your video is excellent. Can isometric be dyed different colors? Do you use gel or liquid dye? Would you give out a recipe for a cookie that can withstand the process without crumbling apart?
