I have watched each of your videos multiple times, it never gets old!! Love seeing Mrs FTR , the kiddos, those wonderfully trained pups, the bottle calves and everything in your daily ranch life!! Look forward to every new video, you're amazing and one of the kindest, most caring person ever! Grandpa would be pretty of you.
Love your story. Your parents and grandparents should be very proud of themselves for raising such a responsible hard working man. Continue to do right, God will continue to bless you in ways you never seen coming.
Man young guy never never never give up on your dreams long story short I left to he farm to make every one happy except me I totally loved the farm not one day goes buy I don't regret it follow your heart nice story
I did exactly the same as you did: I took over my grandparents ranch after having left Heidelberg University with a degree. Now I have been working as a High school teacher for over 35 years and running my farm which I got from my grandma . I am breeding cattles( Charolais) and horses on my 60 acres and I have my regular income from my teacher job. So I can afford a lot of stuff that makes my life much easier here on my farm. Greetings from Germany and go on with your awesome videos!
I just came across this. I’ve been watching your videos for a while. It is nice to understand your story. Little bits of it resonate with my own - and other bits are completely different. What is the same is that we both run a small beef herd … and enjoy doing so. In spite of being at opposite ends of the earth … we share a Mediterranean climate and some other things. I enjoy the practical simplicity of your videos and pick up an idea for my own place every now and again. Best wishes from Australia (near Ballarat).
I really enjoyed hearing your story. When I was young I always wanted to be a farmer. My dad was a county extension director. Both he and my mom were raised on farms. I helped friends during high school on their family farms. When I was old enough I joined 4-H and raised hogs. I rented space from farmers that were close enough to town to bike to. I learned early on that if you didn't grow up in a farm family it's hard to get land. So I did three years in the army, went to college to become a teacher. I taught for 33 years. I retired, sort of, 3 years ago. I now deliver mail. I am a small town guy and my happiest times are when I'm out in the country.
This video came up on my recommendations. Watched it when it originally came out, and watched it again just now. So much has changed on the Farmer Tyler ranch since then. You have surely honored your grandfather's legacy. Also, the progression of doggies at the beginning is kind of funny - the very old one that must be lifted, the second one that halfway makes it into the truck, and the third one that can jump.
Loved watching this video. My husband has grown up farming all of his young life...he is 62 now. Times were hard & his parents lost their farm. He has always worked jobs that had to do with farming in one way or another. Now his youngest son has his own land with 40 pairs on it. And they also farm 400 acres of various crops corn/soybeans/hay. He is helping his son make it work. It's a tough road but they both love it. We live in Southeast Kansas & farmers around here are not of the younger generation...if you know what i mean. Stick to your dreams and "grow" with them. Much luck to you!
Tyler never give up your dream in life. Bet your grandfather was a neat guy. Hanging out with him I know you learned a lot. The one part which I would have like to have heard about was how you met your wife. Tyler thanks for sharing your story.
You are right about college vs experience. I went to school to be a teacher, and then found out that teaching was not my job. What made college valuable, I think, was learning how to learn, and finding out that there was a whole lot in this world to learn about. Most of what I know and use every day, I learned on the job.
I'm in a similar situation. Currently living/working on a farm my grandparents owned. Seems like the ownership mentality skipped a generation or so and it fell into disrepair, so I moved in and am in the process of bringing it back to life. I see it much as you do. Keep thier legacy alive.
What makes me watch these farming videos is getting to know the stories . Some are better than others at telling the story . This is a good one . Thanks!
Hey Farmer Tyler, My first daughter attended Chico. Got to visit the campus and area during her graduation. Was able to ride down the river. Betcha did too. Beautiful area that we considered moving there. She was offered a job in our area and moved back. We liked it so much and had hoped my second daughter would have attended. Another school offered a better program, so we now hope maybe my third daughter. We shall see. All in all, great school and wonderful area. Thanks for sharing.
I've been to Chico! My best friends moved there. I loved it there. ❤❤❤Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister. 🙏🏻 many prayers 🙏🏻 for you all 💙 🙏🏻
I give you credit for doing the job my grandson is 9 yrs old and with the virus situation and less school days a farm in coordination with education Dept is having the children go to help work on the farm tending cattle and learning all the work in farming planting and he loves it we need people like you!!!!!
I have worked in healthcare for 38 years. I have always felt that my education was excellent not just because we had fabulous professors who had many years of hands on experience, but because over the two years of the course we spent 2400 hours in local hospitals for clinical practicum. It was quite expensive for the era, but so excellent that I have never regretted it. This wasn't a profession I would have imagined for myself, but I took a job as a nurses aide to prevent starving and ended up helping the RTs and it all just fell into place.
I made it to the end. I maybe an old lady from NC but I was raised on a farm and I can understand your dream. The sad thing is that things where I live have gotten so expensive that people are selling their farms piece at a time to people who want to live in the country but have no idea about loving the life. Hope your dreams work for you and your wife.
I lived all my life in city, but I know what you meant by "whoever gets it, gets it, who doesn't, doesn't"! Always loved to live a country life, always wanted a smaller house with big land. Married to a girl, who likes firm-living, but also like city life, and these two doesn't go together. Nice story, make sure you keep telling this story to your kids, it is a tradition that you want your kids to follow! God bless.
I wish you and your wife all the luck in your endeavors. I do enjoy watching your channel. It would be great to see more young folk carry on what their folk before them laid out and started. Like watching you restore your grandpa's tractor. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I noticed a sense of pride when you were finished. I thought that was great. Blessing to you and your family.
Awesome story, I've been watching your videos but never heard the full story. Your grandparents sound like very wonderful people. God bless you all 🙏❤️ keep up the good work
I am a new subscriber to your channel and wanted to say how much I enjoy it. You are so practical, knowledgeable, and articulate, and obviously a very hard worker. Listening to your story, it's clear that you have the heart of a farmer. You love the land, you care about your livestock, and you know how to manage it all as a business. I look forward to viewing the rest of your videos and watching what's yet to come!
Brilliant story Tyler, may I wish you and your wife the very best of luck with your goals, and my God bless you both. This story is very familiar to me, and just like me, you have the farming disease, I firmly believe it is something to behold, and only those that have it can understand it. Regarding the people that want your rented property, that is a universal problem for us small farmers, my advice is just keep a step ahead of them. Look after the land like it is your own, that way the owner can have no complaints, because I have found that owners of rented land prioritise how their land is treated more the rental income.
Tyler, I appreciate you taking time out to tell us your story. There’s nothing like wonderful grandparents to give us our beginning in terms of love for whatever it is be at farming, gardening, raising flowers to sell Sewing, Carpentry etc. I had a wonderful grandparents to and they were big influencers in my life and I am forever grateful to him as well as my parents. I just wanted to share with you that from the time I was a little girl until I was 10 years old my father and mother leased land and I was in aware of this or even a difference between owning and leasing until we were forced to move off of a beautiful 640 acre property with a Victorian 2-story house with a large amount of rooms and cool things that no other house ever had had before or afterwards and we were in heaven there. My dad certainly had his hands full farming this place as well as working at Maytag and helping his father with his farm. We had moved twice in my lifetime but when I was 10 and we had to move off that farm I was devastated as was my siblings when we learned that it wasn’t our land or our house & instead they purchased a small farm under the wrong one and a half story house on it which what is so tiny and did not have running water in it except cold no I didn’t have a bathroom and by then there were 11 children and I’m telling you we were mad, but mom and dad had a vision to pay off the farm in five years and at the same time begin building a new house which we did last children whenever we had a free moment we’re digging the basement for the first room so that mother had a warm place to do her laundry in the winter time and a place for her canned goods and a furnace and firewood and a working toilet😃 Eventually, after we laid block and poured the cement flooring for that basement, daddy added a room on top and a hole was cut between the two so that we had a dining room for all of the people that came to our house on the regular basis and when I was 17 they began building the new house but I left for college and never lived in it. In fact half of the children did not live in it but it was a beautiful farm and we had probably 4 to 5 acres of garden and orchard where we had all the food we could possibly want… excellent food as well as beef and pork which was butchered on a regular basis so I grew up with the best and I’m grateful for how hard my parents worked and taught us to work and for all they gave us and they did pay that form off in under five years and I’ll never forget the day that my father came home and laid the deed to the property with it extra hundred dollar bill on the table and we all stood Garking at that hundred dollar bill because we’ve never seen one before… That was win a dime Would buy a lot. In fact recently my son computed value of that dime in 1971 to what it would be worth in 2022 and the price was $96.07. We were totally surprised!!!😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ Anyway I think my father was in his mid-40s when they bought that farm and I just don’t want you to give up on your dream of owning your own place!!!!!! Just start putting some money aside every chance you get and eventually it will be enough for that down payment on a place or where are you living the person will sell it to you or your grandmother will sell her place to you but you just have to have faith that something will come your way and you just do your part towards saving for it that’s exactly how my parents got it… they also started working on jobs in the evening calling daddy resurface the hardwood floors at schools in droves school buses for evening sports games; they went in and cleaned the restaurants locally after closing hours and I would babysit the six younger children till they got home… Things like that. Just some ideas and you’re such a great welder is it maybe you could hire for repairs or making gates and panels for people the internets a great place to advertise for your kind of talent and skills. Anyway I wish you and your wife the very best and as long as you work together and you make your goals together, everything will come out OK as long as you have each other that’s all that matters. My parents loved each other very much and it was obvious that they did and everybody admire them for their hard work in their Love for each other. They had great faith and nothing else matters❣️❣️❣️❣️
So awesome wish I had opportunity to get land so I could have animals I'm trying to afford a place that I can just have a few goats a donkey and a few geese, turkeys, chickens I love animals so much it never seems like I have enough of them . your a great person I enjoy watching your videos your daughter on the tractor with you was so precious.wish you and your family well
I totally understand how you feel about living on the land. You either feel it deep inside or you don't. And no one can get that feeling unless you are born with it.
Super admirable nice story. I'm a small farmer in Michigan you made me curious about walnuts. My grandpa owned this place also and planted a lot of walnut trees didn't realize the value in them. Thank you for informing
I'm fairly new to your show I have been enjoying it so much and have now came across your story. I completely agree my siblings and I grew up in a city and our Grandparents lived North about 7hrs on a farm every school break that's where we wanted to be on the farm and if our parents couldn't take us they would send us on the Grey Hound Bus sadly the farm is no longer in the family 😢. And I can't go a day with out watching your show Tyler !!
I am fairly new to your channel but have watched all your videos and I like them all. I live in a rural area too and I love 🐄 cows looking forward to your videos each week
Old Video that I’m seeing for the first time! I love your stories! ❤ Seeing this makes me know how hard of a worker that you are! You’ve learned so much from your Grandparents and Parents! You’re an expert Weller! College! Basically! You’re a Jack of all Trades! ❤ I understand! I went home on weekends to be a Girl Scout Leader Leader for Seven Little Girls who had no leader! I worked at the local Ben Franklin to get money to come home! Your Wife! You’ve a Beautiful Wife! Beautiful Family! I’ve really enjoyed the History Story! Thank-you! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So much enjoyed learning about your start. It is incredible how our early paths paralleled each other. I spent time just like you on my grandpa's farm (corn & beans row-cropped, fed 250 head of feeder cattle, farrow-finished 400 sows, & 10-15 thousand turkeys each year) learned so much from my grandpa, who in addition to farming was a cattle buyer. From him I learned by actions, not words that a man's word was his bond. The buyer said I want so many head of calves at such and such weight, my grandpa said I will have them for you with no contracts signed. Those were the good old days! Very best of luck and continuing success to you! Be blessed.
Excellent video. I totally relate. Gramps was the one who instilled in me the values that you have today. Personal yes, but needed to be said to today's world. Hay, straw, alfalfa, timothy seed, clover to let the land rest, and keeping seed beans to replant the following year. Used wire, then bailing twine. We had trouble finding kids my age who would bail and work in the loft.. Jeans, flannels, in 110 degree mows. Then we'd find the nearest pond to cool off and semi wash and cool down. Hard work, wonderful life.
Great video! It explains a lot about your character. I grew up on a crop farm, vegetables, where they ran a few cows, chickens and hogs. As I near retirement, I’m finding myself looking for a place to do that myself. However, land in Texas is so expensive! In the meantime, I’ll just live that part of my life vicariously through you. Thanks Tyler!
Beautiful family Heritage. Awesome💖 respect for your heritage and lifestyles and values. I'm so glad I read this because I knew that your ranching and mechanical abilities were pretty informative and interesting and dedicated. I wish I best life for you and all your loved ones , grandparents, parents and wife and children. They are reaping a very quality blessing because of your choices that you have made in your lifetime and lifestyles. God is so Good, isn't He.⛪ 🌿👩👧👧👨👧👧👣👣👣👴👵🏡🌾🌱🐮🐂🐄🚜🐃⏳🕛🌠🌟
You are a good person, Tyler. I am living on the homestead my dad bought in the 40’s. He started the farm after the war years, where he served. Good feeling to have deep roots.
Later: I clearly have watched this video before, and I am not going to read what I typed earlier. I just want to say Tyler that your grandfather has to be very, VERY PROUD of YOU for your devotion to his ranch and the love you have shown him through your work ethic❣️❣️ I think you are a rare breed of person to be so loyal to family and ranch and work so selflessly for SO LONG for your grandfather is just unheard of. You are totally right that your piece of property is beautiful!! I have thought that many times as I watched your videos and I’ve even commented on videos how beautiful Lillian looks when your cattle are on the hillside, and the land is a lush green and the blue skies in the background. Thank you for demonstrating hard, work, ethics and loyalty to others, because there’s so many people that are just out for what they can get and you definitely are not that. I do pray that someday the land you would’ve worked royally will be yours forever, and it will not be in vain.❣️❣️❣️❣️ God bless you and your family and thank you to tell your story again. I know it was not easy for you. Love your channel.♥️♥️
Love your story I'm about in the same boat grew up on my grandparents dairy farm. Farm got sold out for 12 years. Came back up for sale I bought it back and am looking foward to starting a beef herd.
Farmer Tyler Ranch 🐂🐂 This was a great video on your history farmer Taylor 🤠👍 I've had the honor of meeting a well-known scholar who took many years of college at Pierce college in woodland hills CA. It was the time the draft was in effect for Vietnam he stayed in school in order to avoid the draft. Years later when he graduated he decided he didn't want to work in an office or be around paperwork anymore after spending 6 years in college. So he decided to take a shop class across the street from Pierce college a school called West valley occupational center. They offered several shop classes and other high in demand occupations of the times. He chose auto body repair class he was in the class and enjoyed it got along with the teacher he graduated and got his dream job doing auto body repair work. He did it very well. Somehow he got the news the teacher at the occupational center he knew Mr Man Freddy was retiring and he wanted the job he could get a higher pay for teaching his profession he enjoyed and be around people that love to work on cars. High school students and adults. That's where I met this teacher Mike McLaughlin he trained me how to do auto body repair. 3 years I took that class alongside high School classes that were offered there. Farmer Taylor I'm telling you this story because you told a similar story only in reverse fashion. The man I knew as Mike McLaughlin went to college first then he went to a shop class and learned Auto body welding and fabrications. I thought that was interesting. Some place in this mix I have a history and enjoy the show you make for RUclips. Farmer Tyler Ranch. Good day to you farmer Tyler 🤠👍🐂 Joey ⚓🇺🇸
Great video Tyler. I always enjoy somebody telling there history. I was tiped on your channel by Pete of "Just a few Acres Farm" in Ithaca New York , And he wasn't wrong. We wish you good fortune and look forward yo more videos.
Thank you for sharing your story it was beautiful, and so well done. I am new to your channel yet I look forward to seeing you tomorrow. I am from Northern California, Placerville area. I no longer live there and I truly miss it. I have lived many places but Northern California will always be my true home. I wish that all your dreams come true.
Thanks ftr for sharing your story of where you came from. Its nice to see a more behind the scene of a person's biography once in a while. Nice looking family bud. Thanks again
Thanks Ted it definitely felt weird to post that one! And I wasn’t sure anyone was even that interested so thank you for saying that. I know I always wonder about people’s backgrounds so that’s why I went for it! Glad you enjoyed it bud!
Thanks for sharing, my family owns a 44 acre ranch here in mexico, but im more into it than the rest of the family, this inspires me to continue my journey since im only 21and in college aswell, like you i go every weeknd and work the cattle, im still figuring out a lot of things but im doing good i believe, again thanks man, i can get some perspective of my future now, if someone has done it, why can´t i? Keep the hard work!
You’re only 21 that’s great you’ve got an early start. Learn all you can in school and set long term goals for the ranch. Good luck with your dream sounds like you’re on the right track!
I sincerely loved hearing your story. Wow I did not know that about walnuts. My sister has a ranch in Sonora and I thought all the nut farms going up there were almonds, but maybe she was misinformed. If I had lots and lots of money I would have you running a farm for me. ❤😊I love that you keep it real
Thank you very much, I feel your pain! I was so lucky to be able to rent a place close to me, basically a needle in a haystack around here! Sounds like you’re doing what you have to do! Thanks for watching I’m glad you enjoyed it
Love your story Tyler. You, my dear are one of the few younger generation who simply loves farming and does not mind the hard work involved. Then, you found a young lady who wants to share your dreams. I grew up on a small grade b dairy and cow/calf farm about 100 miles north of you. That life style is a very fond memory and certainly gives you great work ethics. At this age of well past retirement I still long for for the farm life...or at least parts of it. So glad to have found your channel, it is a joy to follow you along...and, to see that you really did learn from your grandpa the slow, methodical way with cattle. Good luck in all your endeavors and I will watch as long as you UT. Might even take a drive down your way.
Only found this vid as have been scrolling back and forward to keep up with your story but also to find out where you been. Being a city boy who doesn't see enough of the country its actually strange that between your videos and another I enjoy called the "Hoof GP" I find them relaxing and very therapeutic. So thank Farmer Tyler and I hope you one day achieve your ultimate dream. 😊
Good Luck to You both. Ranchers are hard to come by. My grandfather farmed in WV. He raised cattle, crop and chickens, all were to live on. I spent my summers there. I loved it :) I enjoy watching your videos plus you look like my nephew :)
Loved the video! Thanks for sharing your story. The first video I watched was when you took some cattle to auction. I sat up straight in my chair when I saw the tower bridge in Sacramento. Most of the videos I watch are people in the Midwest and back east, so it’s fun to watch someone close by!
Thanks Anne yeah I know what you mean all the other channels I watch are in that area too (probably many of the same ones you watch). I don’t know if you’ve ever watched“Rice Farming TV” he’s up in Biggs/Gridley area. That’s the only other local channel I know of. Thanks!
Firstly can I say that's a beautiful photo of your wife and yourself with the dogs. Secondly, yourself and my hubby are so alike, not in looks but in farming history. He started working on a farm, helping the Cattleman. I think after several months they got him into the tractor ploughing. After that he done all jobs. He loved welding, doing the harvest crops, everything. Unfortunately after many years the farm went into Receivership and hubby was paid off but everything turned out well. I'm rattling on here, I hope I've not taken up too much of your time 😊😊 I really enjoyed that. ☺☺🌿💟🌿
great video series, this episode answered many of my questions. you really makes an excellent well balanced video. i have learned a great deal. i grew up helping local farmers hay, and i loved it.
Truly enjoy your videos my friend, I have a small 6 acre farm in texas with lots of animals there's no better life than this. Wish your family and farm GOD's very best blessing's. your friend Frank
Great story I'm sixty one now Started with fifteen acres then bought a family farm of 318 acres. I started with tobacco on the fifteen acres. Rented or picked up parcels for hay. Mom and Da had twelve acres that I started with basically 5 cull cows and a bull I fed to use. I was a grass farmer they called me. Hay and cattle. Now I raise about 200 acres of soybeans, 150 acres of good pasture. I run around 70 head of cows with calves. My boys are kinda interested but don't have that hungry look in their eyes I used to see in the mirror. I've done my part. It's up to them when I'm gone.
You have came a long way! Just look at you and your family now! I am sure your parents are so proud of you! Continued prayers for you and your family and friends! 💜❤️
“You can’t teach experience”- best quote ever. That’s what these new “homesteaders” must comprehend. They want every animal, dairy and beef cattle, raised garden beds of all kinds, breeding etc. 10 acres isn’t enough. My papaw had 1800 acres, and when I watch I just think, they need a mentor. I love that you’re following in your grandpas footsteps. You definitely learned more from the farmer you worked for than any college class. Actually your welding hs class, also taught you more than any college class. God bless. Best of luck to you and your family PS: I value education immensely. But when it comes to farming, your experience will always outweigh classroom education. Love your channel
Thank you very much Chanel (or Stephie?)! Yeah yo got to admire their enthusiasm but it’s easy to bite off a little more than you can chew! And yes, ten acres definitely doesn’t go very far. Thank you for all your kind words I really do appreciate it!
Farmer Tyler Ranch I do admire them trying to be self sufficient, but they are misinforming so many. You sir are a genuine farmer in every sense of the word. Please never feel the need to explain the use of the “whip”-sorry forget correct term, or the way you do anything. You’re being kind sharing your knowledge, very kind considering the amount of labor you are doing. The uneducated (about farming) expect you to name your cattle and bring them to bed with you. Only those that have worked a farm, will understand, and need no explanation. You are a shining light. A young man with an old school work ethic. I hope you find a great opportunity to purchase your own place very soon. I’m sure you will, as hard work always pays off. You and your family deserve it! Thank you again for your great content. Stephanie is my name. My daughter named the channel. I’ll have to fix that
Thanks for sharing your story. I totally get it. It’s hard to beat experience. I’m in that same boat. It’s hard to keep growing the farm on a tight budget. Have a good one
Thanks Jacky. Yeah it’s tough for the small guy to get bigger, all we can do is substitute hard work and ingenuity for finances (like you’re doing with that rebaler). But when it’s something you love you’re happy to do it!
Thanks for sharing your story with us! It's always great to hear how someone has gotten where they are...and where they'd like to go. Best of luck with your plans! :)
Great things in store for you young man...i am 88 N. CALIFORNIA....Watch Doss family Chad, Rae.Kyle Shannon their Dad and Mom Doss great people!! Chad told us to check your place...small world hu? 😊😊Blessings
You and I have a LOT in common brother! It was really cool to hear your story. You married well, she's a beauty! I like that you had a white superduty before the one you have now, that's awesome! Thanks a lot for sharing with us. I hope you can grow the herd and keep the land you have for many many years!
Thanks Chris, I’m glad you enjoyed the story! I’ll tell my wife you said so, she’ll like that everyone’s saying that about her haha! I’m finding that I have a lot in common with many of my subscribers which is so cool to me. Shoot you and I are even the same age! I miss that old SD sometimes, nothing like an older diesel that actually sounds like a diesel. The new ones are so quiet, which I guess is good at times but sometimes I want to hear that diesel sound! I appreciate the kind words as always. You need to post a new video man how long has it been?? Haha! Take care
@@farmertylerranch4399 Yes I do really love the sound of the ol 7.3! It doesn't sound like any other diesel.. pretty bad ass if you ask me! I would love to get one, but the fumes give my wife a migraine almost instantly. It's been about three weeks now since I made a video... just been too dang busy to get the camera out while doing anything worth making a video for. I'll be making one soon here. Have a good one bro!
Very good, cathartic to explain "who one is" Congratulations, you show good character:" to thine own self be true." Aquality life will reveal sacrifices are made and there's goals every day. Sometimes it doesn't seem linier, but other time, miracles!
Just found your channel on my recommended list. Like the video and your story. Christmas tree, pumpkin, corn and soybean farmer in southern IL. To wet here to get anything done, so I can probably binge some of your earlier videos in the next few days. Thanks for taking the time to do the video.
Thank you very much David! Dang you got your iron in a lot of different fires there! Great to have you I hope you enjoy the channel. Enjoy your wet break, I’m sure soon it’s going to be go time!
Enjoyed your story about how you got to be a farmer. I’m 66 years old (retired) carpenter,US navy vet from Minnesota. My wife & I live on her great grandfathers old farm in SW MN. He came from Norway in early 1900s & settled here in 1919. My father in law bought the farm from my mother in laws uncle, one of the great grandfathers sons. We just have the building sit of 5+ acres. We enjoy living in the country about 6 miles from town. My brothers & I have farm land near the Minnesota river in Renville Co. Minnesota from my mom, grandpa great grandpa & great great grandfather who settled it in1866. My great great grandfather came to this country from Ireland in 1828 with his family when he was 14 years old. As kids we visited the farm with our parents quite often. We are now the 5th generation to own the farm continuous. It only has about 100 acres tillable & 100 acres that used to be pasture.

You have come along way Farmer Tyler. I am an older person and may I say......I am very proud of you, your work and your choices.
What state is this ranch in?
@@Sheila-u4tCalifornia (he said it kind of early on in the video).
I want to know when you met your wife and how many kids do you have?!
You're been taking care of everything in this area, i think you're going to be the owner of it Tyler,
You earned it Man 👍🏻🥃
I have always been a throwback. Always wanted to have feed animals and horses. I love hearing your story, and I can totally relate!
Your videos are such a breath of fresh air for me. Thank you. I love to see how happy and active dogs are on the ranch!
After watching the many projects you came up with on your Farm, You a definitely are a Great Fabricator!
Thank you so much Julie!
Farming gets in the blood I think.
@@farmertylerranch4399 will you be able to buy the land you rented for the new herd? Can you buy your grandpa land too?

Tyler never give up your dream in life. Bet your grandfather was a neat guy. Hanging out with him I know you learned a lot. The one part which I would have like to have heard about was how you met your wife. Tyler thanks for sharing your story.
You are right about college vs experience. I went to school to be a teacher, and then found out that teaching was not my job. What made college valuable, I think, was learning how to learn, and finding out that there was a whole lot in this world to learn about. Most of what I know and use every day, I learned on the job.
Preach!
Thanks!
Thank you very much Wayne! I’m glad you liked it
Your story was wonderful to hear all about. Your family is fortunate that you wanted to continue this important work.
Hey Farmer Tyler,
My first daughter attended Chico.
🙏🏻 many prayers 🙏🏻 for you all 💙 🙏🏻
Shalom! What a beautiful story of you, your grandpa, and growing up as a Cattleman. Blessings to you and yours!
Thank you Debbie!
Awesome story, I've been watching your videos but never heard the full story. Your grandparents sound like very wonderful people. God bless you all 🙏❤️ keep up the good work
Such a humble man , with a great work ethics. You should be so proud of yourself hun.
Thank you for subscribing Larry I really appreciate that and all the kind words! Thank you!
Congratulations on getting this far. Good luck on the future. I'm looking forward to seeing your continued success.
Best of luck to you FTR, you seem like a really honest, decent, hard working young man that works for everything you’ve got! 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Keep it up Tyler, you’ll do Fine!! I’m 42 & have got the utmost admiration for you & your commitment to your obvious profession!!
Great story, great life and don't worry your doing a great job with life in general, your Grandpa would be proud of you!

Look after the land like it is your own, that way the owner can have no complaints, because I have found that owners of rented land prioritise how their land is treated more
the rental income.
Thank you Joe that is very good advice and something I do try to live up to. I appreciate you watching!
That Story is so Precious. It Grandpa would be so Proud of what u have Accomplished. Thank u for sharing!
His grandparents farm is in "my neck of the woods" coolness.
We had moved twice in my lifetime but when I was 10 and we had to move off that farm I was devastated as was my siblings when we learned that it wasn’t our land or our house & instead they purchased a small farm under the wrong one and a half story house on it which what is so tiny and did not have running water in it except cold no I didn’t have a bathroom and by then there were 11 children and I’m telling you we were mad, but mom and dad had a vision to pay off the farm in five years and at the same time begin building a new house which we did last children whenever we had a free moment we’re digging the basement for the first room so that mother had a warm place to do her laundry in the winter time and a place for her canned goods and a furnace and firewood and a working toilet😃
Eventually, after we laid block and poured the cement flooring for that basement, daddy added a room on top and a hole was cut between the two so that we had a dining room for all of the people that came to our house on the regular basis and when I was 17 they began building the new house but I left for college and never lived in it. We were totally surprised!!!😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Anyway I think my father was in his mid-40s when they bought that farm and I just don’t want you to give up on your dream of owning your own place!!!!!!
Great story. Thanks for sharing.. Subscribed
Thanks Iroc341 welcome to the channel!
So awesome wish I had opportunity to get land so I could have animals I'm trying to afford a place that I can just have a few goats a donkey and a few geese, turkeys, chickens I love animals so much it never seems like I have enough of them . your a great person I enjoy watching your videos your daughter on the tractor with you was so precious.wish you and your family well
I don't know why but I went back and watched this one, look how much you and your family have grown. You are doing an amazing job with your life.❤️🇺🇸
I totally understand how you feel about living on the land.
Enjoyed listening to your story! It's so beautiful out there! Always love watching!
So amazing with your lovely family and pet. Out on the pretty land. I love your videos of them beautiful animals.
Thank you Wykeisha!
It’s awesome to see you carry on the legacy of your grandfather 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦
You are a good person, Tyler. I am living on the homestead my dad bought in the 40’s. He started the farm after the war years, where he served. Good feeling to have deep roots.
Thanks S!
Thank you for sharing your story Tyler, I enjoyed listening. Keep working toward your goal, you will make it!
I do pray that someday the land you would’ve worked royally will be yours forever, and it will not be in vain.❣️❣️❣️❣️
God bless you and your family and thank you to tell your story again. I know it was not easy for you. Love your channel.♥️♥️
Love your story I'm about in the same boat grew up on my grandparents dairy farm. Farm got sold out for 12 years. Came back up for sale I bought it back and am looking foward to starting a beef herd.
So cool that you were able to get it back!!
Great story of how you became the man you are today! I get the country life it’s amazing life.
Great to hear you continuing your grandfathers brand and holding his memory up.
Thanks Roy!
Farmer Tyler Ranch 🐂🐂
This was a great video on your history farmer Taylor 🤠👍
I've had the honor of meeting a well-known scholar who took many years of college at Pierce college in woodland hills CA. Good day to you farmer Tyler 🤠👍🐂

Great story and you should be proud of your history and accomplishments!
A person can never be sorry they went to college. You are doing very well with all that extra knowledge. Plus your hands on jobs. Continued success.
Tyler thanks for sharing.Your life is fantastic. ❤️
Darlene from Ohio
I'm a rancher in a high value irrigated farming area and I rent pastures 100miles away and I'm just trying to make it work, I enjoyed your story.
Thank you Robyn!
I loved it :)
I enjoy watching your videos plus you look like my nephew :)
Thanks!
Farmer Tyler Ranch I’ll check him out. Thanks
That’s a great story, where are you located? I hope your boys understand what a great opportunity you’re giving them!
We just downsized from 200 acres to 40 acres because none of the kids were interested.
I'm about an hour southeast of Louisville Kentucky
Want to adopt me? Haha!
Keith Martin Good job, farmer 👍🏻👌👏🏼💕
Very interesting and relevant. Thanks 👍
Blessings to you young man. Keep following your dreams.
God bless. Best of luck to you and your family
PS: I value education immensely.
I’ll have to fix that
Great to hear your story. Thanks for sharing
But when it’s something you love you’re happy to do it!
a really nice Story on how you got into Farming in the US . Thanks for Sharing it Kiwi Shayne in the UK 💕💕
Learning Bei doing, Tyler here is everything is counting, and you did it Man 🥃👍🏻
Hard work always pays off. Stay with your dream, it shows that you really like what your doing.
So great to hear your story! Doing work that you enjoy is what its all about I think.
Absolutely Robert thank you!
Thanks for sharing your story with us! It's always great to hear how someone has gotten where they are...and where they'd like to go. Best of luck with your plans! :)
Thanks a lot Chicken Hues! I’m glad you liked it.
I always love to hear the back story. Keep on keeping on!!!

This is such a great story. Thanks for sharing.
Loved your story. And yes, I understand your decisions. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you spurmoore I’m really glad you enjoyed it. And I’m glad you understand too! Thanks again
Thank you. I subbed last week some time and am really enjoying your channel. Your honesty and integrity shine.
I appreciate that!
Very good, cathartic to explain "who one is" Congratulations, you show good character:" to thine own self be true."
Aquality life will reveal sacrifices are made and there's goals every day. Sometimes it doesn't seem linier, but other time, miracles!
This video made me subscribe. I live hearing people's stories. Keep on keeping on.

Thanks for sharing.
Very cool! A lot of family history there. Thanks for sharing your story and thanks for watching mine!
