Most steve mains will hate this, but this is actually really good for Steve's to learn how to catch your opponents out with minecart and not to depend on it
Fellas, a reminder that this move is: A burst option A commend grab A projectile A mobility tool Invincible on release A recovery move A kill move A setup tool Super-armoured A combo finisher
This is great, people out here trying to ban the character rather than find solutions. I appreciate this because I was trashing my own community for lack of GETTING GUD or focusing on counter play. This alone helps as Steve isn't mobile at all; hence why he uses cart or blocks to position himself.
In theory you can wavebounce empty minecart in order to punish although that would need to be a read since on reaction it’ll be too slow for Steve to catch
@@RockManSSB is the best counterplay to this just to aerial out of shield then if the steve shows that they're able to do this, or are there other safe options to get out? since you said that rolling in is the best way to get out of this situation I'd imagine good steves are ready to cover it if it is cover-able
@@EmperorPenguin1217 I mean if you don't have a strong projectile or hella mobility/burst range to hit him and destroy blocks in the same move, it can be painful; e.g. I've seen Peach/Daisy destroyed by him bc they can't easily-out-aggro a lack of approach as easily as they would vs a more traditional fighter like a swordie...I personally find the MU moreso annoying than actually painful lol but having Phantom and a reflector that also breaks blocks in this MU is very helpful obviously
You're the only reason this character isn't going to get nerfed hard in the next game 👑 Now wait until people realize some landing aerials can go through up-smash and some up airs can clank with anvil 🤯😱
k rool and palutena dont have to jump for their counters, they will counter the ride and reflect the empty cart, though k rool still needs to be watch his head
The minecart itself yes, however hitting Steve will negate minecarts invincibility entirely. This is why it’ll armor through projectiles (it hit minecart first) and won’t with physical attacks (it hits minecart and Steve)

This is so good. Still such a broken move, but glad to have some counterplay video to show my friends, especially one so well done

This was amazing. Succinct, comprehensive, and entertaining. It was very easy to follow along with the visuals too. Great job! More please!
you're a legend for this
around 4:00 ish,, cant pbr (the turnaround thing steve can do) or the cartless side b switch up steves momentum enough to punish the roll ?

I just realised why RockMan keeps uploading these "anti-Steve" tech guides...he doesn't want him to be *actually* banned 😛
That and the views are doing good ✨
@@RockManSSB that they are, my good sir! 😃
That and Steve hating crybabies know it's easier to whine about a character than to learn how to fight them

so what does link do b r o
i need this knowledge 🥺😔
oomfie going off
Could you add subtitles? I usually have no problem with English but some parts of the video I find really hard to understand
Oh , yeah, isn't the minecart itself protected for 17 frames at startup? Instead of breaking when taking 8.4% damage, it lives on 0.1%?

It’s a balanced character after all
