bruhhh the freaking pandemic ruined it. They were supposed to perform ON but covid hit and it got canceled. They would've earned lots of respect for ON Manifesto performance but nah. The universe had other plans for BTS, I guess. Dynamite and Butter was their big break and thats what fate decided! As fellow asian/Korean I’m so happy to see BTS getting much more attention in US. They contribute pretty much everything related to what Western society sees us:)). And thankful for Americans and all the global fans for being so open to mucis produced outside their culture, their territories.

they are the closest band to reach the heights of fame and success the beatles did but still not there yet and they will never be, the beatles were CRAZY BIG and sold the most records ever, they were innovators and changed the face of music, but again, the times have changed and no one can get as big as the superstars back then(mj, elvis, the beatles, sinatra) the world is just too divided and don't wanna pay attention to just one act. I'm talking about my personal case. Like I have mentioned, it's not about liking or not liking them. It's about those insinuating that artists who are trying their best are not even worth your time. In that case, that is being shamed. Of course people can have their own opinion, but you can't go saying you have a valid opinion on something you have yet to even witness and you choose not to witness because of certain prejudices. In all honesty, I used to be really annoyed by the screaming haha so I’d understand some side eye about it. I love BTS but I also don’t come from that background musically, I come from the Rock n roll and Metal background where you scream but you don’t do it the whole time because you want to hear the music clearly. So you scream at respectful parts to scream and just headbang or dance otherwise. So it took me ages to get used to the constant screaming that is clearly the norm at a bts show, for a long time I found it really disrespectful because i come from a different background musically. It took me a little while to realise That that is just the norm in the bts world and it’s just army’s way of constantly giving love and support. So I’m used to it now haha 😂. I’ve ALWAYS loved the chants they are so lovely lovely lovely 😉😊

In all honesty, I used to be really annoyed by the screaming haha so I’d understand some side eye about it. I love BTS but I also don’t come from that background musically, I come from the Rock n roll and Metal background where you scream but you don’t do it the whole time because you want to hear the music clearly. So you scream at respectful parts to scream and just headbang or dance otherwise. So it took me ages to get used to the constant screaming that is clearly the norm at a bts show, for a long time I found it really disrespectful because i come from a different background musically. It took me a little while to realise That that is just the norm in the bts world and it’s just army’s way of constantly giving love and support. So I’m used to it now haha 😂. I’ve ALWAYS loved the chants they are so lovely lovely lovely 😉😊

I went to the Chicago "Speak Yourself" concert last year and I showed my family some videos I took and my grandma and mom loved it so much that they're coming with me this year to the "Map of the Soul" Chicago concerts
my grandma is almost 80 and my mom is almost 50
