Why anyone would buy a single one of these in automatic is beyond me.. buyers keep in mind that if stolen or if totaled by your insurance you will never see that extra markup money.. that markup is the cost of NOTHING except straight cash to the dealers pocket. Shop around the country if you want a specific popular “rare” (ha) car.. or just wait.. because those cars are in the back cause they won’t sell. Trying to charge markup on old stock is not smart and in the end it’s hurting all of us including dealers as manufactures have caught on and are now making their cars more expensive just to spite. The tipping point is hitting already so you dealers are going to have those cars on your lot forever.

Markups killed all enthusiast/fun cars. They're marketed at younger crowd at prices they can afford but that is useless because USA has franchise laws that prohibit direct sales. Car has to go to a third-party parasite that gets to hold it hostage until you pay a ransom called ADM before they'll release the car to you that they had NOTHING to do with when it came to R&D. US is a third world country in so many aspects and US citizens are so oblivious to it. From car industry to healthcare costs, to roads, to rail cars, etc.

FYI, early days of autos, cloth seats cost extra. Even in 1950 s,cloth was preferred over leather.Benefits of cloth vs. leather? No noise, don't get hot. Leather as a " premium" is just marketing slide of hand,no shortage of cows, pigs, etc. along with many toxic chemicals to make leather. Most mass produced vehicles use low quality tannery hides for upholstery, which is why shrinking/ cracking happens much sooner than petroleum based cloth interiors.

I don't think the Chrysler folks including assembly line workers even know how much/understand how Peugeot will end their deliberate drunken stupidity of trying to hide losses by raising MSRP across all the Brand lines. FYI , Peugeot sent Chrysler Europe into the history books for not getting their act together. There is no money for an electric Chargers, besides few will buy it.Their unsold inventory at. Corporate Level in storage lots and at Dealerships speaks volumes. As far as Dealers ordering way too many LX platforms and Dealer markups? Likely be selling those 2023s well into 2025 model year with even crazier markups as the Brampton Plant shuts down in December.Dealers that live by the sword, die by the sword, more so,since most dealers are not financially sound; dealer- floor/lot stock is done by financing.

Just like this time all of this is nothing but talk. Consumers never draw the line. Thats why prices go up every year. The dealers and auto makers know the government will bail them out again when it gets bad, and they will bail them out with consumer tax dollars. Just like they did in 2008.

Factory direct is the only way to cut this shit out. But as far as used, stay away they'll eventually have to give them away, just wait......

In the financing office. $33,000 sticker prices then $10,000 finance charge. Disgusting 🤮 imma ride my car until the wheels fall off though. They won’t trick me again.

I still laugh at this because there are dealerships where I look at their inventory and I go to new inventory and literally most of the cars are all 2022 how are you still sitting on a new 2022 I know because you're artificially marking them up pretending that there is not enough stock or the chip shortage excuse that you're using there's plenty of acquisitions in stock for vehicles these dealerships are marking them up because they're being greedy

I feel like my days as a car enthusiast is coming to an end. A Mustang Mach 1 on a 10 year old platform should not be 65k. A Nissan Z should not be 80k. A Corvette Z51 should not be 130k. A 911T Should not be 150k. I did hear that BMW, Subaru and Mazda are not marking cars up. I think I'm going to try and order an M2.
