    I just discovered your channel ! You guys are great. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and cars !
    I’m considering buying a WBSP, but definitely watching the market to see what happens with msrp , dealer incentives etc, etc before I pull the trigger . My local dealer has about 15 2023’s on their lot right now.
    Since you guys have had multiple SP’s what are your thoughts ? Would you buy again ?

      Really appreciate that! Thanks for the comment and being a part of the channel! Yes we both loved our wide bodies. But definitely would wait it out a bit more and see what May brings for incentives and price drops. Once the price feels right by all means grab one!

    I think the price will continue to drop. People are moving away from Dodge and losing interest. Now, if you keep it for 30 years it will be up. I hope I'm wrong. But that's what I think will happen.

    I have a 2021 redeye charger 4500mi I ordered and the values are low right now for some reason

    • @GuysTalkingCars
      @GuysTalkingCars  8 месяцев назад +1

      It’s a whole market correction right now. I believe once we push through this and get to the other side - cars like yours will regain some value. Not expecting them to exceed the purchase price at all - but if mileage is reasonable and we hang onto them, should be able to not get hurt too badly a couple years from now.

    You can't find ANY new redeye chargers right now. I personally see them retaining their value better than the 170. But I would personally hold on to it and enjoy it for life. Interesting story about how they accidentally ordered two redeyes haha

    • @GuysTalkingCars
      @GuysTalkingCars  8 месяцев назад +1

      Agreed - not really into the 170 and most - if not all - Redeyes are gone. Charger Redeye is the most powerful charger ever made so would tend to agree to just sit tight and hang onto it.

    Dodge is in BIG trouble. I think they will sell it off. Hopefully if that happens an American company buys it and can save it.

    • @GuysTalkingCars
      @GuysTalkingCars  8 месяцев назад +3

      Yes we hope so as well - they are in deep deep 💩- the new EV specs are terrible, the design is barely OK, and the inline 6 is just too little too late

    You didn't ask Shane if he misses his 2021 Widebody Scat! I started watching your channel because I own a 2021 WB Scat white very much similar to Shane's old one. I bought it in May of 2021 and got a fully loaded model for $54K. It had a $2k Rebate and was just an amazing deal. The car has been perfect and I'm approaching 30K miles on it but I plan on keeping it for years to come because it checks all the boxes and I wasn't looking for a Hellcat. It is about time for Shane to get something good but not a 2024 Camaro or I mean Mustang! Come on Man! You'll be posting videos about the Top 10 things I hate about my Ford in no time. LOL Acura TLX Type is in the Widebody form is pretty sweet. Those caught my attention but come on a little 2 liter turbo.... not going to satisfy anything. Jared, did you ever get over the tiny little paint things on your trunk?

    • @GuysTalkingCars
      @GuysTalkingCars  8 месяцев назад +2

      😂😂😂 great comments thank you! Yes check out Shane’s video on finding his Scatpack got totaled. He definitely regrets selling it. Smart move keeping your scat! Great price bought at the right time. As far as the trunk and hood issues one we replaced the PPF everything looked perfect! Thanks for asking! I’m trying to get Shane into a Mopar again! He’s looking at some manual challengers!! We will see! - Jared

    They can't give away the Hornet. The same will happen with the EV Chargers. There will be deep discounts within a year.

    Dodge future evs.
    First point can u burn rubber?
    Second point will it slide?
    Third point will it provide the same spirited driving experience as a hemi.
    Fourth point battery longevity and charging time.
    Fifth point evs are limited to certain living areas based upon charging accessibility.

      100% well said! Frankly I’m not a believer in this EV push. Makes no sense.

    I think low mileage redeyes and the like will hold their current values very well, possibly “appreciate” a bit with inflation over time. Any very nice examples of anything else should also hold their value quite well. But honestly I don’t look at any Mopar as much of an investment at this point. If Stellantis keeps killing this brand like they are, we probably will have a hard time even finding parts to keep ours on the road within 5-6 years, sorry to report! (The old muscle car gurus knew what they were doing when they personally warehoused extra parts from dealers all over the country, in their detached garages!) At any rate, I’m not deterred from driving my ‘22 WBSP 1-2 times a week, and I think the average person should feel accomplished if they’re able to maintain positive equity as they pay down/off any vehicle they may have.

    I am starting to notice alot of people having issues with demon 170.
    I also have a 2023 charger hellcat redeye widebody jailbreak.
    Destroyer Gray satin black hood. With hammer head gray interior with red seat belts. Currently have 1300 miles fully ppf and ceramic coat.
    So I have a huge question which is better. Will have best long term value.
    My 2023 charger hellcat redeye widebody jailbreak or a 2025 cadillac ct5-v blackwing?

    • @GuysTalkingCars
      @GuysTalkingCars  8 месяцев назад +1

      Wow beautiful combo - I also PPFd my entire car. Smart move. Blackwing is nice for sure. But I would hang onto that Charger. Let’s see what the market does over the coming 3-5 years. See what becomes of Dodge. But ultimately I think if it a couple ways. First, we have the most powerful version of the Charger ever produced. And the Redeyes were not produced in mass numbers. Next, the cars have embedded themselves into culture like no other. Which will keep their desirability high for many years to come. Not saying they increase in value any time soon. But if we navigate this current goofy market I don’t think we will get hurt too bad on these. I don’t see the same with the Blackwing. However, if someone hangs onto a Blackwing for 20 years, that too will hold some value. Just keep that mileage low like you are doing.
