@@HealthCoachKaitI just ordered So Well berberine. I was already taking another brand by Peak Performance, but I decided I will try this one since I have only about five pills left in the bottle.
Great video!!! I just ordered mine. Thanks for the discount code Kait! I’m no longer pre diabetic just got my last test results last week, but my goal is to bring down my A1C levels by another .4🎉❤🙏🏽
Hi. I've been on Wegovy since last April and I was reducing slowly. In November I started two things. First, no artificial sweeteners (already not drinking sugar drinks). Second, Intermittent Fasting. Wow, weight started to fly off. I was down to one meal a day and then I seemed to plateau. Did a 60 hour and started weight loss again. I'm down from 335 lbs to 241 lbs now. First goal is 235. Then 220 and then 200. However, I need to get down to 180 to get to "desired" weight. We will see what 200 looks like.
Hi Coach Kait! I just recently learned about exercising the Soleus muscles 30 to 45 minutes after a meal. Perhaps a video idea for your viewers as an additional hack to lower glucose levels. Cheers! 🥰
Exercise releases more glucose into the blood stream which should be taken in by the cells for aerobic energy, but it certainly shows that you have more glucose than your body needs, so if you burn it, that's good. I suspect Berberine acts similarly to most of the diabetes meds out there, which is to force even more glucose into cells than they want. That is not going to improve insulin sensitivity. As usual, this is treating the symptom, not the root cause. Diabetes 2 is an eating disease: It's from eating too much of the wrong foods (i.e. processed foods, carbs, sugars, starches), and not the right amount of the right foods (i.e. veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, berries, meats) - there are obviously some good foods in the wrong foods category, and bad foods in the right foods category, as this is a generalization. I have to take insulin at the moment, otherwise my blood sugar would be through the roof. Also, my weight keeps on rising. I realize that I have to balance the right foods with my insulin use and with fasting, to bring everything to healthy levels. It's working, but it can be difficult. My weight is steadily (but slowly) decreasing, as is my insulin usage and my blood sugar levels. I keep cutting out more and more processed foods (baby steps), and I continue to work out - probably more than most people. Of course, it would have been better had I gotten a handle on things before they got this out of control. If you pay the price sooner, it will be much less expensive than paying the price later.
Hi. I don't know if this is just a coincidence, but I find that if I have something with allulose in it, my blood sugar spike appears to quickly go away. I've tested my glucose levels repeatedly when I drink something with allulose after a spike and I always see a notable reduction. Is there something to this, or is it just a weird coincidence?
@HealthCoachKait , You said, just leave a comment to say hi... I did! I hope you're enjoying the "summer"... I'm having fun up here in Chicago! I always watch your videos as I've been battling insulin resistance and turning it around... last A1c was 5.6! Thanks for your info!
If you are insulin resistant (most people) your cells are already full. Reducing blood sugar spikes allows them to become insulin sensitive again and work accordingly. This video was not aimed at people targeting carbs around workouts.
@@HealthCoachKait Yes I agree those peoples cells are full of fat disrupting insulin receptors. Don’t believe you can google Charmaine Dominquez, Dr McDougal MD and Dr Gregor. Perhaps you should look them up. This understanding might also improve your athletic performance.
Have you tried any of these "hacks" before?
I get on my walk pad for 10 to 15 minutes after dinner. 🍽️
My wife and i have been following you for years. YOU ARE THE BEST! THANK YOU. You explain way better than MDs, and you relieve anxiety.

Fine!
I take my So Well Berberine daily because of your recommendation. Thanks, Kait!
Awesome! 😁

Hi, Kait!
I do 2 of your 3 tips. I don't take berberine. I make time to squat (or stretch my legs).
I meditate. I listen to music. I have some laughs.
🥰🥰
A little girl showed me what she did to lower her blood pressure, she ran in place. And I have to tell you it works really well...
Hmm , channel support didn't show up on my last comment post .
Thank you! 🤗
Thank you! 🙏🏾

Oh I need your last advice. Thank you very much for your kind and motivating words not to stress out. Love from India 🇮🇳
Good info!👍 Water with apple cider vinegar and lemon and/or green tea before or after meal is also a great hack . Cold shower therapy can also benefit

Hi Kait :)
Hey John!
Not ugly.
Can you take berberine if you take blood pressure medication?
How bout testosterone therapy and/or hgh for controlling sugar
Is it true that you need to take barberine half an hour before the meal and that you should pause taking it after 2 or 3 months?

Hi 😂 I like the taste of apple cider vinegar, so I dilute it with water

Hi, is Balanced or So Well, in general, third party tested?
Blood sugar spikes are necessary to drive glucose into your cells. Eat carbs centered around your workouts and let your pancreas do its job.
If you are insulin resistant (most people) your cells are already full. Reducing blood sugar spikes allows them to become insulin sensitive again and work accordingly.
This video was not aimed at people targeting carbs around workouts.
