Thirsk is a lovely little market town it’s a shame the pubs were not serving food. Pleased you finally found a nice place to eat. The church was beautiful, Jenny is very knowledgable and I think Poppy enjoyed her walk inside the church x
Not sure how pubs manage to stay open without serving food, that's where the profit is. Oh well you ate eventually. Lovely to see Poppy with her friends, they are all adorable.
Good vlog thank you Bob & jenny , that’s annoying with with the pubs not serving food ect, would of liked to had seen what you ended up with , the church was beautiful x💙
Bob Earnshaw aww sounds nice bob, maybe a little disappointing when ya have ya heart set on a nice meal though lol , and yes I’m getting better thank you x 💙
Haaaaaa : o That's funny - Poppy answering your question in the chapel : ) ........ She said : Of course, I am being good : ) ......... I can only hope you gave her / give her a treat for those moments - she well deserves it : ) ........ Well, thank you for taking US with you and your friends : ) ........ Peace on Earth : ) .........
You missed the James Herriot centre. His original Vet Practice and home .under his real name of Alf White. You did see St Marys church were he and Helen were married. Was it lack of interest or didn't you realise .
At least you got some decent food in the end. Missed you on the webcam. I believe Thirsk comes from a Viking name "Thraesk" meaning lake or fen. Thanks a lot Jenny & Bob.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Thanks Jenny & Bob. Can I ask, when you tow your car, do the front wheels "steer", or are they "free turning". And do the brake lights work on your car?
missed you in Thirsk, I would recommend the Thai restaurant if you ever go again and sorry to see you probably picked what we would consider to be our least liked pubs.
Did you manage ok with all this rain was the grass to wet to move the motorhome or have you got some cunning plan or gadget to get out of a waterlogged pitch
hi we're going to bunree next summer can you advise us on a suitable overnight stopover, we are travelling from Manchester, we watch and enjoy all your blogs and even have two websites jack and Aubrey. grateful for any advice. thanks
How can you take a dog inside a cafe I thought in England it was illegal unless it was a assistant dog for the blind (they say you learn something new everyday) I have just looked on Google and you are allowed to take a dog into a place where they are preparing food under the owners discretion there is no law but a lot of people think including myself ! thought there was .
Why don't pubs restaurant's ask if dogs are friendly Sat having a nice meal on a summer evening Dogs yapping licking you leavening hair on my clothes Without being asked if they can join us Ask the owner's the question are your dogs patron friendly ☺☺
Nice break from motorhomes. Jenny is a great source of knowledge. Have a great weekend guys 😄👍🏻 Trev

We couldn't take the dogs in, ironically. It was an hour and half tour and a long time to wait for each other.

Thanks for the info on Thirsk. We did wonder if it was something to do with Mr. Thirsk, but apparently not.

Where you take your dog is always at the discretion of the owners. Fortunately for us, increasing numbers of places are dog friendly.
Looks like your going on a pub crawl 😂
More like a food crawl... 😁
