No we have not. But it is public now
Have you tried the VIOFO RTC300 telephoto camera for the A229 Plus/Pro? It has Starvis 2 and HDR. I see you have discussed how different dash cams read license plates and VIOFO is saying this telephoto lens makes reading license plates much better.
We have it but was focusing on comparing Viofo A229 Pro and Vueroid. However i recently became aware that they are shipping it now. I actually thought it would be a while before shipping. I guess i better get on that testing

On the D21 what does the "ding dong" (doorbell sound) indicate? I noticed hearing this sound when I hit a big bump on the road. I also heard this sound when you moved the unit around quickly in the video.
Impact. So when there is an impact it saves that video in event folder. Speed bumps, potholes, car accidents, aggressive braking. Typically set that off.
How does Vueriod perform in heat as compared to IRoad?

Hi Ben. I'm quite lost with what you said about the Viofo. Will the video be locked from the moment you pressed the emergency button or will it also lock a few seconds of the video BEFORE you pressed the emergency button?
it will lock the entire video. however if in the last 10 seconds of that looped video it will lock that entire video and also the next video.

Question could i buy a A229 pro 3 channel and only run 2channels ????
I want to put a rear camera in each of our 2 cars and just move the dash cam main unit to which ever car we are using. I know i would need extra cable and mount stickers etc
you could but the 3 channel system you would need an interior camera cable extension. Because interior camera is 1080p infrared and rear camera is 2K resolution so it could be done but you will need a different cable
