I dealt with depression for years… I’m in a much better headspace now - this song kind of helped me through it - for me this song meant that “despair/sadness/sorrow will always be there - it’s a part of me and it will never go away and it’s okay. I don’t have to be afraid to live. Life really is full of ups and downs and I just have to enjoy it all no matter how hard it is - life is beautiful like this, with all of it’s imperfections”.

Anne Marie Benoit So I pulled up some Rilo, honestly I can't say I ever heard of her. I listened to a few tracks, most importantly though, the Frug has a music video that was lifted from MTV 😂 Good old MTV... memories.
I can never figure out if this Band is always ahead of their time or their sound is just timeless.

I was so happy to see them in Portland OR. I was just a kid, and i tried to talk the security guard into letting me go back stage to talk to them and a do a report for the school newspaper. I didn't of coarse. But I don't regret anything.
