- Gayle from BERNINA of Naperville takes a break from talking about the new BERNINA 990 to show you how to make this month's project from Riley Blake Only You Collection. The Theme is Smokey the bear and she's making flat fell seams with the #71 foot, adding straps using a #10 edgestitch foot and even busting out the Binder attachment #88 with use with foot #95.

Fun!
So very fun, both the fabric and the project. I appreciate the demonstration of the binder foot which I have but haven’t used until now! Thanks!
Good for us to see not everything goes perfect for you and also, how you make it work! Thanks for your wonderful videos.
Thank you for saying that. Sometimes I just can’t make another.
Ohhhh it’s wonderful….i love how the ties do up 👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks for showing how to use the presser feet and the binder attachment!
Great JOB thanks🥰
I have binder attachment. You make it look easy and so perfect. How do you turn a 90 degree corner? I just figure you fuss with making a miter? Could you use a light dab of glue on those seams to prevent them from folding over?
@@caroleleecuster8187 please watch our binding video for a more in depth lesson.

Hi again. How long is the strip of material you are securing for the apron straps?
@@barbaraolde6044 3 strips sewn together equates about 120”. But you have to determine the right length for you. Download interactive instructions by clicking the link in the description of this video.
I just made an apron for my boyfriend for Father’s Day . Maybe I’ll do this for him for his birthday.
Where do you get the seam guide?
We sell them. www.berninaofnaperville.com/products/bernina-of-naperville-seam-measuring-gauge?_pos=1&_sid=b51bf2747&_ss=r
Excellent video thank you. Do you need to stabilise the apron material or can you make the apron without it.
The stabilizer really helps to make the apron feel more rugged and also helps keep those wide lap seams flat and perfect.
