Viral ASL interpreter calls for more deaf access and inclusion

American Sign Language interpreter Rorri Burton went viral last weekend for her work interpreting L.A. Mayor Bass’ interview with KTLA ahead of Tropical Storm Hilary. Now the Pro Bono ASL interpreter alongside John Maucere and Neil Cordova are calling for deaf interpreters to be prioritized and greater access for the deaf community. Aired Aug. 27, 2023.
