I'm kinda surprised GSC made this with those paint flaws and the arm not fitting correctly(that specifically would bug the hell outta me lol), but the hair sculpt is genuinely beautiful and that last shot on the shelf leaves a strong impression
I agree. A lot of the line work is as expected. Just in one area it's a complete mess. Part of me feels I just got that bad figure where they ran into issues, but quality control figured it was good enough to ship out. It's not the first figure I had manufacturing issues with, probably won't be the last. At least it didn't come broken.
Love your videos. Really Inspired me to start collecting again. This asuna figure has been on watch list for some time. I might get it soon. Keep up the good work.
Gorgeous! I grabbed Asunas Stacia version from Genco last year, wich I'm super happy with. But I just can't stop looking at the other figures, always questioning myself, if I'm truly satisfied, or if I want more xD
That's a really nice one too. As you can see at the end of the video, I grabbed Genco's Sinon. I just absolutely love the armor and bow. I would have picked up Genco's Asuna, but GSC announced this figure which caused me to hold off. I still am on the hunt for a reasonably priced Max Factory Titania figure, but the Orca Toy Asuna also looks good.
I usually get my figures from a lot of different shops, I would start with: www.amiami.com/eng/ solarisjapan.com/ www.goodsmileus.com/ www.bigbadtoystore.com/ As far as quality of figure brands, yes, there are some that are very reputable and some that are not. Personally, I would avoid FOTS, Insight, and B'full. Their 3d render tends to not look like the final product, even though they have really good looking renders. Sometimes they work out, but more often than not they tend to have sculpting and paint issues. That being said, there are plenty of other reputable companies which release perfect figures, only to follow up with a not so perfect figure. myfigurecollection.net/ is a good site to see buyer taken photos of released figures.
I use the "ComXim Professional Black 360 Degree Rotating Turntable" that I picked up on Amazon. There is also a white version I'm debating on picking up, since I've been shooting with a white backdrop lately.

The pose is really good but for the the facial expression is what I'm looking for on Asuna figures since there are a lot with good poses out there.
