Like you I think they are beautiful, I have both figures but I have not yet taken them out of their respective boxes, as I am saving up to buy a display case to have them displayed there. Lastly, like you I think this is the best Alice figure better than Aniplex or Genco. Congratulations for showing me how beautiful they are. Yes I don’t think you can beat asuna’s hair sculpt the issue is it’s party at the back so you don’t really see it! One day I’d love to put a mirror behind her to show off all her glory 🥰
Of the two you unboxed, I preferred the Alice. I was tempted to purchase that Asuna because I love her hair, but I don't find her blank expression appealing. For me, the face is 50% or more of the figure and if I don't at least like the face, it doesn't matter how beautiful the rest of the figure is. And your kitty is adorable! Oh and I too am still a big SAO fan. It's one of my top rerun anime to watch. I have the Alter Kirito you unboxed a while back as well as a Furyu figure of Kirito in his GGO guise.
Kirito alter figure is amazingly good! I completely understand why you skipped on this asuna if you weren’t a fan of the face, did you see alter recently announced a prototype for a goddess Stacia figure? Maybe that will tempt you 😉 my only issue is it has a metal rod 😫 I don’t like supports on figures so I will skip but some people don’t mind them

She looks so elegant and badass, love that pretty face and a beautiful flow of her hair and garment! And girl, nothing is more pure and wonderful in this world than receiving a gorgeous figure that can make you cry! Living for it, so happy for you! Great video as always, Clari! I prefer Asuna but both are very nice. Yes, your Alice scale is light years better than your prize of her, IMO. I always struggle with spread carrots...I have quite a few as well, but I sometimes question the cape spread (if its extra space allocation is justifiable), and that was actually one reason I quickly moved to scales is that when they do have capes, they usually look so much better than the cheap shrouds of their less expensive counterparts. (Apologies if some are finding this offensive; it's just how I see it. )
Yes I completely understand how you feel, it’s actually why I avoid collecting prize figures and pop up parade figures even though some of them are so tempting! 🫣 I know if a scale came out of the same figure I’d be kicking myself. I’m so happy you like asuna! She got some negative comments on Reddit and I really don’t understand why I think she turned out great!
Was Asuna's dress always that pink? I feel like I remembered it being more White and red. Either way, you can't really go wrong with her figures, she is just so aesthetic.

Definitely prefer the Alice figure as the blue and gold has a lot of contrast unlike Asuka. Tho Asuka's hair sculpt with the swirls are nice.
