      He was so bad at linebacker. When he left the Packers he was saying they weren't using him properly. Really? A linebackers job is to stop the run on run plays. Cover a target or zone on pass plays or rush the QB on rush plays. How else does this guy want the team to utilize him? Maybe he wants to play QB as well maybe? Either way while on the 49ers he was so bad. He couldn't stop the run. He was literally the weakest point of the defense. As the weakest point I constantly watched him when on the field. He would just shoot a random gap regardless of which one the back was going down. He would also just run right into someone else's back on his team. It was so weird. Personally I think he knew he was bad so just made himself get lost in the pile. On pass coverage he was so dang slow he was usually the target for opposing QBs to pick on. This guy single handedly made the 49ers lose multiple games. He was really bad. Anytime there was a td pass into the end zone this guy was usually standing there with a stupid look on his face like why wasn't someone helping me guard him? You guys suck. That was his attitude. He was bad.

    I saw a lot of 49er fans saying Deebo quit as well but hasn't been reproached by Kittle or others and its indicative of Deebos place in the locker room which drew their concern. I'm not a 49ers fan so I can't evaluate that as passionately, but I wanted to share that because I was expecting that to be a fringe comment on facebook for example and it simply was not and if that's true thats simply frustrating amidst a tough season.

    • @jurassicturtle3666
      @jurassicturtle3666 23 дня назад +1

      Deebo has been occasionally jogging routes when he isn't supposed to get the ball for a few seasons now. QB School has caught it in 9ers film breakdowns multiple times.
      Either way, dude has had bricks for hands for two seasons and has never been a great candidate for WR1. He's never had the separation ability that BA or Jennings do. He was a fantastic gadget guy and he never should've been moved out of that role, even if it became a little predictable (just look at Taysom Hill).
      BA's contract hold out I think really spoiled some locker room attitudes. He played like garbage before he got hurt and just had zero chemistry with Purdy after being so good last year.
      Another huge problem is Shanahan's drop back pass play design. Purdy holds the ball far longer than any other QB in the league, but it's because read 1 and 2 often take 6 or 7 or more seconds to develop. It's a miracle Purdy's had any success with that much of an in-built challenge. I think he's just beating himself up and trying to carry the team going gunslinger and lobbing deep balls, but he's just not that type of a QB.

    Fantasy football is bonkers. Last week we had a guy sneak in to the postseason via a tiebreaker of points scored through the whole season (he won it by THREE POINTS), now that same guy is up against this poor soul who started Cooper Kupp this week. (The manager has also been his postseason kryptonite so even with Kupp dropping 0, hes still lost 3 years in a row to this guy)
    EDIT: He has now BEATEN said manager who started Cooper Kupp (and also Darnell Mooney and Sam Darnold... over JARED GOFF and BRIAN THOMAS JR WHO WERE BENCHED😭), and is currently gearing up to face the 1 seed whos dropped at least 130+ points for 4 of the last 5 weeks (the one time he didnt he literally didnt have a QB, and he still scored 100+ and won)

  • @LordPichuPal

    The big takeaway I saw former players have about it is that you have all week, even 2 hours before the game, to be like "hey I don't want to play today, I don't like being replaced as the starter by a guy coming back from injury" and then that's it, you don't dress for the game and someone else takes your place. The fact he'd deliberately decide to dress for the game, which tells the team you want to be out there and play alongside them and takes away their chance to put someone else in your place, then wait until halftime to be like "No, I don't want to play" is just absolutely unforgivable. They should cut him immediately and be done with it, because you can't have a player like that on your team who's willing to say "fuck you guys I'm not helping" in the middle of a game.

      There's cap implications to cutting a player midseason, while suspending for conduct detrimental to the team might allow SF to withhold a paycheck or two. Prior to the game Thursday, Greenlaw came back, and again Campbell knew what his role was to be. And, prior to that game, Campbell tweeted out his distain for "not being used properly" and how "some team is gonna get a real one". He thinks some team is gonna scoop him up next season. He didn't walkout on his team thinking he's gonna retire, no no. Hence why i say the 9ers should NOT cut him right now. Let the season play out, and let him walk then. I'm used to the 49ers quitting in slightly less dramatic fashion, like Deboo in the NFCCG after Nick Scott laid the wood on him. This is kinda sad, and not even in a way that's especially funny. I mean it's still funny, but it could be funnier

He doesn’t deserve to ever wear an NFL uniform. Not just a 49ers uniform, but any uniform for any team in the league.

    • @worfsonofmogh1154
      @worfsonofmogh1154 23 дня назад +4

      The Trey Lance trade was awful. Shanahan has been bailing out the GM by making nobody running backs and quarterbacks into stars (or at least serviceable). Lynch has neglected the offensive line and paid Aiyuk and Deebo instead of offloading them.

      And when it counts, he makes poor decisions. 3 big mistakes in 3 different SuperBowls. That’s not a coincidence. He’s had so many excuses with injuries. Loads of teams get injuries. The Rams had injuries with no receivers yet were still able to win games

    If they don't immediately release this guy, they will be vilified by the entire league. You can not have things like this happening. If you allow things like this, then you get situations like what the NBA is going through. They play when they want, go where they want, say what they want. Sure, ok, you have the right in this country to do that. But you don't have the right to play in the NFL, and that employment has conditions.

    In the past 12 years the 9ers could have signed Manning, Brady and Rogers and being last place in NFC West and a 6 point December game is no wonder with Shanahans 7th rounder. Purdy is completely exposed without CMC! Shanahan and Lynch need to be fired because this locker room has been lost given the walk off quitting and the mismanagement of CMC returning from major health issues!

But here's reality, they aren't helathy, and they don't appear to have the teamwork to be a great team, more a collection of great talent. And all of this combined, the 49ers are a BAD team this year, the entire year was a wash early on really but they've been deagging a zombie of a team through the season
