The 2 tabs to start can be seen by laying it on its back, opening it, looking with a flashlight. Push them, not the top. Gently. Keurig's plastic tabs and switches ( like most plastic parts from Asia ...just broke 2 tabs yesterday in a Lincoln...) are generally cheap, short-lived and extremely fragile, and seem to be the broken parts most addressed in repair videos. This one was excellent, thanks for saving our machine!
I want to clean coffee grounds out and the easiest way to do it would be to put it in the laundry tub and use the sprayer, the video is very informative. Thanks
I have this model and it's not working - the buttons (carafe or single) light up, once selected the 12, 10, 8 oz buttons light up and flash, but when any option is depressed nothing happens. The carafe or single light blinks slow but no water heats or anything - do you think this is repairable? Thanks!
How does the check valve come out of this machine? It took forever to find a video that is for my Keurig K Duo Essentials 5000 f because it has clips instead of screws to take the lid off the pod side. My problem is that I believe I have a clogged check valve because the pot side will not make a pot of coffee. It stops at about 1/2 to 1/3 cup and turns off. I have looked and looked about how to remove the check valve so I can clean it properly to no avail. Any advice you can offer would be very appreciated. Thank you so much!!
Did you figure this out as far as the check valve? I got mine out, but there is a spring in it and it went flying.. now I need to figure out how it goes back in!
I didn't know that John Goodman was so handy. Great video. Thank you.

If the pump is not turning on, it could be an electronics problem, which I don't repair. Honestly, I don't know if it can be fixed or not
ah that's too bad - but thanks for replying! @@46fd04
I have the same problem. Press the buttons and nothing happens. Machine was cleaned but nothing. Keurig is sending a replacement
great video only The bad thing is that you can't find spare parts for these coffee makers

I'm sorry, I cannot answer your question. I have not had to repair the Carafe side of one of these machines yet. I've only worked on the K-Cup side.

@@pamolenslager9126 I have not had the check valve out of this model. Can you email me a photo of your Check Valve to 46FD04@gmail.com
@@pamolenslager9126 Another trick I use is, ALWAYS take a photo or video of something before you take it apart
@@46fd04 sorry I didn't see this before I got it back in.
Some of the stuff here helped me troubleshoot mine. Same model. Tyrns out mine had a dirty check valve.
