Poor man is seriously losing his memory. The interviewer did a really good job. He has a nice bed-side manner and handled this like a genuine person as well as a savvy professional.

Thank you Pete for handling a situation like this with love and care.

Two great scenes: Paulie says hello to Carmine at a wedding and slowly realizes Johnny Sack never mentioned him to Carmine and had been bullshitting him for years, goes in the restroom and looks in the mirror. Richie's scenes with Beansie. Beautifully acted; exceptional acting.

The same look Tony gave Junior when he kept repeating stuff. One of the sensitive scenes on Sopranos.
@@jfontanez1838 His name is Tony.
Its crazy. You could see it in his eyes, and then David's response "yeah, we're getting old". That killed me seeing that look on David's face.
Da jaaakit
This broke my heart a bit. I felt in a way Tony would be young and fit forever... No disrespect though, always a king amongst kings, David too. Salute
Breaks my heart watching these guys. Tony looks like he’s just sick of the Sopranos talk and wants to be left alone. It’s hard to see him like this.
He's old son, that's what this is. He reached that "I wish the lord would take me" phase...
He was so sick of it that he showed up to a Sopranos convention
For sure. Leave the guy alone. Let him alone and let him live the remainder of his life with dignity.
Alex SM well said bru. I look after the elderly. And Livia said that in Sopranos
@@alexsm3882 he’s only 78....
He died yesterday. And reports say that he was suffering from dementia for a couple of years. About three or four comments down, you will see my statement from two years ago saying he looked like he had Alzheimer's disease.
I love these guys, it hurts to see them getting older. They made my Sundays.
It’s crazy how much these guys have aged in 15 years
Coke will do that
He’s also 77 I mean
Sam Finoh only 13 years since the show ended
Right. It's only been 13yrs. They didn't seem that old in 2007. It's almost as if they aged 20yrs.
Big difference 64 and 77. Dementia and shit starts taking over
Paulie we love you!
Rest in Peace, Tony Sirico (1942-2022)

David Proval (Richie Aprile) is the EXACT same age as Tony Sirico (Paulie). They are both 77.
Yep, David 5-20-42 and Tony 7-29-42
You'd never think it
Buonanima. 🤟🏼🇮🇹🙏🏼😔
Say hello to Jimmy for us Tony.
As much I as loved growing up watching Tony on TV & movies... I feel terrible seeing how age did not fair in his favor. None the less, great man, great actor. I’m still happy to see he has the same humor. God bless him.
Damn this breaks my heart. He's getting old man.
Seems like he might have dementia. I didn’t need to see him like this 😞
It is what it is, that will happen to all of us sadly...
@@BadreddineBousseta was gonna say the same thing, I hope I reach his age one day
@@michele2855 He enjoyed being there though, he said so several times, so that's surely a good thing. Just because his faculties aren't exactly the same, doesn't mean he doesn't have any dignity. I think the wardrobe folk could have loosely done his tie maybe, but the interviewer was very respectful and T. S. looked to be enjoying talking about his favourite role, which he probably doesn't get to do as much anymore
@@hadley-jameshoyles902 you know you are right. For dementia patients it’s about being in the now because the moment will be gone soon. Short term memory is lost but Tony was remembering the long term stuff. I work with Alzheimer’s clients. It’s just kinda hard for families and loved ones. The long goodbye
I really like your comment! God bless you 🙏🏾🌻
Damn.... I'm currently rewatching The Sopranos now for like the 20th time so seeing this huge difference is kinda jarring. I forget how old the show really is.
Yet its still the best show to this day, I actually appreciate the ending more now after rewatching the pilot episode, where its actually foreshadows how the show will end
Same here i watch it at least once a year. The thing that gets me every time is the old laptop carmella is using and aj asks if shes still on the internet because he wanted to use it. Dial up modems back then thats when i realize how old the show is.
Just starting this and I feel like that fifteen year girl watching the first episode of this iconic series!!!!....❤❤❤❤
Ah, I am so sorry he hasn't been well, he hasn't changed very much, what a wonderful man. Hope he feels uplifted with the outpouring of love. Well done Pete, you are a lucky guy to meet such legends. That picture/mural of James brought tears to my eyes.❤❤😢
'Ritchie's phone'....skitting.
Love from Ireland..🙏☺❤
SU S; Smart human
Proval is such a nice guy so crazy. Also bless the interviewer to keep the interview from getting awkward. And even if Sirico isnt doing too well these days you can tell hes still the same ol soul.
damn when Tony Siciro asked what jacket i really wanted him to go: THE JACKEEEEEET
A rare character that lived the life. He will be missed.
I still watch and really enjoy the Sopranos to this day. One of the best shows ever!!
Amen! New Episode Dropping soon w/ The Legend Vincent Curatola aka Johnny Sack!
Here to pay my respects to an absolute legend. His career turnaround reminds me of the actor who played “Machete”. I hear Mr. Sirico was an anterior decorator too
I heard his house looked like shit though.

@@thats.grantastic lol 😂. Brilliant
@@545ajrox The jacketttttt! Funny how he said his fans mentioned the jacket more than anything else from the show.
Yup one day u gonna be there too
It's crazy how much they aged in 13yrs. The show ended in 2007, but it feels as if they aged 25yrs.
13 years from 67 to 80 is a big difference. Not like 20 to 33. Sad my parents are now in theres 60's scary to think about.
@@teggianosalerno5050 minus Tony is 77 July he'll be 78. Those 2yrs makes all the difference at least that's what my dad said years leading up to his 80th birthday. Try to spend as much time as you can with your parents. Tomorrow is never guaranteed & how the world is at the very moment.
@@teggianosalerno5050 1.It's 14 as the season was filmed before 2007. 2. tony is sick... he either has suffered a stroke or he has alzheimer. He is acting like a 90 year old, not 77.
Dwane true my dad is 75 and sharp as a dart!
In 13 years he has certainly aged. However, I wonder how many years the camera took off while they were filming Sopranos - making him look much younger in film than in real life!
Pete, you did an awesome job here, very thoughtful and cool!
Crazy to see him like this. One of the best characters on the show.
Our beloved Tony Sorico still has a razor sharp wit and simply too many great memories to remember at this point. I wish him the best of health. He and David Proval seem like such nice people with a lot of humility & the warmth between all of the cast & production staff is very noticeable
This was great seeing David and Tony interact with each other. Some old time friends ❤️
Wow love Paulie can’t believe how fast 20 years fly by
No one will comprehend time.............Wake up .............be aware.
Rest In Peace Sir,
Affectionately interviewed like a gentleman by Premium Pete another unsung legend.
“I did 1000 fucking films, what do ya want from me?”
So he wears those white shoes without laces for real, in real life. Wow.
Yeah those white shoes he must have had a couple three pairs of them oh... Remember he grabbed him out of the shoe rack as he was clearing out with Tony to lay low...
That way he’s not dragging them through urine
he was an actual gangster in real life as well! he has a lengthy rap sheet lol and he gave david chase the creator of the sopranos one ultimatum, that his character would never flip or betray the family!
He can't stand touching fucking shoelaces!
@@tmac6904 but he betrayed the Family just not worked so well for him when Carmine sr dosent know who he Was
This broke my heart. Sending Sirico nothing but love 🙏🏼

This is so heartbreaking to see i grew up watching the sopranos loved Tony Sirico such an amazing actor
1 of my favorite characters in the sopranos...
definitely entertaining but one of my least favorite paulie showed his true colors when he was locked up in ohio lol
@BAY 8TH 718 all downhill from there. paulie was a standup guy but as time went on he became a summer soldier trying to be on a winning side
fantastic interviewer, he was so kind and didn't make Tony feel bad about his memory.
Imagine the stories. Prayers up to both of them. David Proval x Tony Sirico x James Gandolfini (RiP), forever ☆ Sopranos, forever ☆
Salutes to The Premium Pete Show. 💯💯
