Windows High Pitch

- Basically a fix from the old startups and shutdowns, but fake systems have been stripped out and the DOS-based systems have been included. The sounds have also been high-pitched (and I didn't get them off another video - I did them all in Audacity, which is why this is the first time the Plus! sounds in Windows 9x and Whistler sounds have been high-pitched (as in, it's in D-flat major).).
That Longhorn one is what you hear when you enter heaven
Niels Ruitenbeek No windows 2000
+Mariomario813 +Niels Ruitenbeek No one will get heaven Sound..Its too impossible...only 0% chance to get that...
xd
TehNoobies Spartan Thats offensive to us christians.
MarioMario813 Wait.Your'e christians?
4.0, 5.0 and 98 had the most epic startup sounds. 3.1 is total childhood memories and the closing sound for 59 plus and 98 plus just scared the shit out of me as a kid. But now that 98 is obsolete I went back to Apple where updates are easy and operating system upgrades are free.
Apples are expensive wdym lol
5:14 i'm so impressed with the shutdown screen
Windows 7 has a cute shutdown when high pitched
Windowslonghorn Langhorne is sad when it shuts down
My speakers blew up after the Windows N.T. 5 startup
How bad is your device LOL
0:00 Very Old Windows Don't Have Startup And Shutdown
Longhorn is Best ❤
10 7 xp 8.1 8
The sound is not real though Longhorn used XP sounds
@@estermelgar8730 +1
Yes. Microsoft Memphis was the beta of Windows 98, and it was built off the shell of Windows 95.
Uk was so lucky in 2003.... 7:23
Actually the sound is fake
Ester Melgar DAMNIT
Well to bad ;)
It’s fake
Fake. UK still has XP sounds
Windows. 2000 shutdown :ah ah ah AHHHHHHHHHHH
This is my favourite Microsoft OS of all time from XP to 10
8:25 The prerequisites of booting a computer with this startup screen are:
a) the time must not be 3 AM,
b) there must be plenty of light (the darker the room, the scarier this startup screen),
and c) you must have a parent and/or guardian (babysitter, etc) in the room with you.

8:36 I'm pretty sure Windows Home Server used Windows XP sounds :P
please check to make sure
Alma Grieder Well, it HAS the XP startup an shutdown sounds cuz it was released 26 days before Windows Vista :P

Huh I don’t remember watching this
Windows Vista sounds like a weird spaceship or something .
its like tada tada tada tada tada tada tada tada tada!!!!!!!
No. That's for the first beta. That was built off the shell of Windows 2000, and subsequent releases had their own startup sound. Over the years it gradually evolved to be based off Windows XP.
3.1-chicago:stop it!!!!!!!

DONT MIND ME IF THIS COMMENT IS TOO LONG BECAUSE I KNOW IT
It's supposed to be an update over the original startup/shutdown video.
hey did you know there's no uk-exclusive startup for windows? its just for the promotional video
I think that this is the third time I have to say this.
Windows NT 4.0 Beta 2 was built off the shell of Windows NT 3.5, which (supposedly) has the startup/shutdown sounds of Windows 3.1.
your windows 2000 sounds are the best
Thing is - when you get to around page 5 you get totally unrelated images of what you search for, like a Win9x BSoD when searching for Windows 3.22.
If you watch standard versions of the startup/shutdown sounds, the shutdown sound won't be in E major.
At least not always, cuz Windows 2000 Beta 3 has its startup sound in Eb major (Eb is just a variation of E which is sligtly more low-pitched)
*YAWNS* This Video Makes Me Feel So Sleepy
Confusingly, in TomAndJerry1998's video, it's in E major, but in sc4reactor's video, it's in F major.
How do you know it's in E major? I do, because I am a musical genius and know all keys
The startup Sounds and shutdown are diffrent
No, Freestyle is the beta of Windows XP Media Center Edition.
This video was posted before Windows 8 even came out to the public.
My favourites: WindowsXP Professional and Windows Vista
I remember watching this when I was a kid.
Uh, no, all versions of Whistler have the sounds of Windows 2000.
No, really, according to sc4reactor's video, the startup sound for Windows 98 beta 3 also played over Windows 98 and the Plus! edition.
The Whistler sounds are actually the same as Windows 2000.
moment 8:25 scary longhorn
Never watch this at 3:00 P.M.
AM :P
+CorporalPig22 oh thank u 4 telling me 😀
+CorporalPig22
8:25 never watch this at midnight-6:00 Because it's scary.
Skip 8:25 to 8:45
Must have more than 10 people and Adults.
xD
The Windows 98 beta shutdown sound high-pitched is actually the normal Windows 98 shutdown sound,
I Remember This.
I'm actually trying to be as THOROUGH as I can, not as CONCISE as I can.
That was the Windows whistler animation
Windows XP Freestyle is the codename for Windows XP MCE. Windows Preinstallation Environment (Windows PE) was only available to OEMS. Windows Powered means Powered by Windows, not Windows 2000 Powered Edition
7:25 Windows server 2003 startup sound
I like WIndows 7 and XP plus vista!
3:40 sounds like on my Zenith PC with Sound Blaster 2.0

Windows Startup and Shutdown Sounds PAL UK Pitched
8:26 that version of longhorn is the concept stuff with 3d and like that!
No, I did not. It doesn't even appear in Google Images.
No. I'm talking about the Beta 3 shutdown sound. Listen to it yourself, and then tell me if it's in E major. Because I know it is. I know the final Windows 98 shutdown sound is in F major.
I don't know if the Windows 98 Final shutdown sound is C major or F major.
high pitch is on!
5:14 Windows Is Shutting Down
Pitch:
+1
It's the SHUTDOWN sound.
Actually Windows 8 has a login sound but there's no shutdown sound.
Never mind
Holy comet! Can you do low pitch?
@jessierocks1236 That's because I couldn't find a startup screen.
If I hear one more instance of TADA I am going to fire my laser!

XP, Nice sounding!
I do - it's just that there is no image for it in Google Images.
Thats because it's fake
Because Windows 8 wasn't released in 2011 yet.
+WindowsSupporter support windows xp again
1:42 is that shutdown sound is even real though
R.M.S Lusitania it’s one of the Microsoft plus sounds it says plus in the corner
@@hashtag2113sghost but what sound it was?
Then why did you do windows ME when it has the same sounds as 2000
Do you own a Win8 computer?
If you do, when you opened the Control Panel to change the sounds, is there a box that says "Play Windows Startup Sound" or something similar?
Dark Parodies We have Windows 10. We have no Windows 8.
Dark Parodies Also, we do not own Windows 8
I have windows 10, and I have that box, when I turned on it has an windows 7 startup!
I think it sounds better high pitched.
Oh, this beautiful princess from Longhorn....❤💚💙💛
Windows me/2000 startup sound better
You mean the Samsung Theme? That’s the origin of the fake Longhorn/Vista Betas sound scheme. In reality Longhorn reused the XP sound scheme which saddens me!! I’ll always associate the Samsung Theme sounds with Longhorn
