Same thing happened with one of my svr 12s amonth ago.. skar does a 2yr warranty on their stuff. Just had to show em my not burnt voice coil and my amp setting and they sent me a new 1 right away!!!
Hells yea bro, nice vid super clean and felt pro status. I wish I could pull off a vid this smooth. Glad you got the issue resolved. I was gonna suggest running inverted again, as I suspected it was just your amp cutting out under heavy load. Nice box by the way too, do what you gotta do. I made boxes back in the day with any material I could get like desks and dressers and used hand saws to do everything. If you could have any sub what would you choose?
I really appreciate the support! I want to add a battery to my setup so I can retain a higher voltage as I do occasionally drop from 12v. I really want to try out a Resilient Sounds 18, or a Dayton Audio 18 so I can still have a very powerful subwoofer, but with great sound quality. One sub I have been eyeing though for a nice upgrade is the Stereo Integrity HT-18 v3.
Hey man awesome videos! Glad you sorted the issues! should add a big chamber to the front of your sub/port and turn that beast into a 6th order bandpass 💯i know you like them lows ;D
Thanks for the support I really appreciate it! I definitely would want to try a 6th order enclosure. When I was using my 15 as my main sub I would put it in my closet with the door open and it would act like a 6th order, and it improved the lows a lot and sounded great.
It hasn't happened in a while since making this video, but I am adding batteries to my setup because I do occasionally drop from 12v. This is probably not the problem, but having a low voltage drop still isn't the best for a setup like this.
That demo at the end sounded amazing through my headphones…😂👍
420th subscriber…😉

Just adding to this maybe check how much your voltage is dropping at the amp with a high load using a multimeter.
