Great match up. I''ll take the blues to win based on up front dominance but that could get dissolved by chiefs threats at the ruck. Chiefs off to a flyer again would make the game very tough for blues

I'm from Chiefs country but Blues having Paddy back is a huge advantage will only cement their superiority at set piece especially in the scrum & lineouts & cause of that & losing Taukieaho & Ah kuoi to injury I just can't see how my Chiefs can win this battle as history tells us having a great set piece goes a long way towards victory why Saders were so successful in winning 7 straight Super titles!
Be a close game & Chiefs will need to come out of the blocks fast & start well as they did against the Canes but in the end think it'll be too much of an ask beating Blues at home their fortress "Eden Park where it's so hard to win is another huge factor!

Would like to see chiefs win but saiyan4eva like you said I think with the blues having Paddy back and taukieaho out for the chiefs I think the blues will dominate at set piece which will give them the win unfortunately I think hopefully the chiefs can start well though like you said.
Just saw the Ref appointments for the final and the incompetent Brett Cronan is the TMO ..... Unbelievable!!
Ref is Nick Berry. Assistants are Damon Murphy and Jordan Way. TMO is Brett Cronan.
That is an absolute joke and a total indictment on the whole Referring system. Brett Cronan had an absolute shocker last week in the Hurricanes v Chiefs Semi-Final ...... His crap performance was talked about on this channel in your review of the game. His performance was also widely criticized by almost all the regular rugby review shows including The Breakdown, Aotearoa Rugby Pod, Rugby Pass to name a few.
His yellow card call against Jacobsen was a joke and his failure to take action against the high head on head tackle made by Perenara were two very notably bad decisions in what was a really shocking performance.
And his reward for his abysmal display ....... he is the TMO in the final. If a player had a game that bad he would be dropped.
The referee review system is a complete joke, it is a completely broken internal system where mates are asked to review their mates. No wonder we are always told the Refs are fantastic and that the fans are always wrong when they are critical of Referring performances. What a bad bad joke!!!!
