Take your time, do not rush

Take your time and make sure everything is right.
I had a very narrow window and no room for failure.
If that specific tree would of had to much weight over the garage I would have climbed it and topped it out. No sense in taking to much risk near the buildings.

If I may... next time. Cheek cuts. That will keep those long strips from whipping out the sides. Also plunge cuts where you use an axe to cut the back strap & a pull rope can make this go just as safely while also being able to go faster at the same time.
