We went to Xcarat ecological park/experience. IT was an all inclusive thing, which was crazy, all you can eat food and drink (includes alcohol) and so much to do!! it was approx $129 per person (for adults anyway) and a bit of a drive from DIU Dunamar but highly recommend this

My husband I saw chichen itza and swam in a Cenote on our honeymoon in 2021. Both were amazing experiences.
That sounds amazing. How was the ride to Chichen Itza. Was it rough or okay?
@@3Days3Noches The only thing I would suggest is bringing snacks and tons of water as it is a far drive. It took a full day of travel. The overall ride was great. Next time we are back in Mexico, we are bringing our children.

Have you ever stayed on Isla Mujeres for three days and tres noches? We would love your perspective on the island as a destination instead of an “excursion”. The entire vibe of the island changes in the evening after all the day trippers leave.
We have not! Was thinking of celebrating my big birthday there next year at the new. secrets!!
@@3Days3Noches while “the new Seacrets “ is wonderful and will employ a lot of locals, it is not being received well by many people. There is a ton of interest in it so it might be good for views but a big fancy all inclusive is not the way to experience Isla Mujeres. The island is packed full of local eateries and beach clubs. Too many to experience in one week so it’s really not worth it to obligate yourself to a >$700 night all inclusive. We have done AI to review them but we only stayed two nights then spent the rest of our time between boutique hotels and air bnb

I'm looking to visit Isla Mujeres and Chichen Itza through excursion companies but prices are all over the places.
For sample, from Royalton website, we will be staying at, price for Isla Mujeres is 218usd and 348usd for Chichen, while on Expedia or viator, prices are around or less than $100.
Any idea what the difference is? or recommendations?
