No problem! I would have had it out last weekend but the original kenwood radio I was using I had an older kenwood harness that didn't have the steering wheel input wire. Do you have the wiring diagram with the resistors that need to be used? All the correct resistors come with the PAC.
brake light warranty, they offer that radio in a marine version, and it has the same steering wheel wire in the harness buts labeled for the kenwood remote display. Wonder if it would work the same as the steering wheel control wire like on non marine radio? Are you worried about your head unit getting wet in the rain or washing the bike?
Brake light Warranty, at least your bike is white so the marine radio will match.. Going to stick out on my blue voyager. I order the dash kit today. Hope to knock this out in the next few weeks. My oem head unit has some crazy static going on and can't figure it out, has to be a ground loop but finally gave up. Hope switching to an aftermarket radio will help. Fingers crossed.
***** it will definitely help, I have very minor static bit only when the volume is off. I have a lot of detailed pictures I can send you if you want/need
honestly? I strived about 1/2" of wire and twisted it around the metal end of resistor. then used heat shrink to cover the entire resistor/connections. 2yrs and bo issues knock on wood
Yeah use version 3 the pac directions say to hold for 5 seconds you do t have to just a 1 second click works. Also if you get mute to work let me know I couldn't get it to. If you want to skip a function just press the button on the pac, it's all outlined in the directions.
Swi-rc not powering on during program vehicle version. Pac red switch power, brown green , brown blue, brown yellow all to white. Light green black, light green red, light green all to black. Resisters on all except brown green to white. Bike wire blue white switch power, black yellow ground, white blue 12 v. 2013 vaquero
Haven Thomas I can't stress enough to take your time, and also make sure the blue wire on the pac is connected to the correct blue wire on the deck! The wire on the deck must say steering wheel control. And again of the pac is powering on its working, double check the steering wheel wire first and then re read the instructions and try programming again.
Great job! Thanks for the plug on the radio faceplate! We have a wiring harness now that plugs into the factory plug - NO CUTTING of factory wires!

Yes it's the same radio it will work the same. Yes I am idk why I thought this one was marine grade. I'll end up swapping to marine grade eventually
