Hey everyone I appreciate you watching! I have a strong goal of 4k subs by January 1st..... its not looking good! LOL So if anyone could find it in their heart to share this video I sure would appreciate it!
Brandon you should totally make a mailbox, flower bed, and an awesome walkway with the bricks. A walkway would be really cool especially with bricks with wording on them.
Hello men. I love watching you young men actually work hard for such a rewarding hobby. Most young men your age would not go to the extremes that you guys do and to know your history makes me really proud knowing that there is still young people such as yourselves that keep our history alive. Keep up the great work and videos and look forward to future vids.
I took home a bunch of bricks and laid a driveway. We have a lot of yellow firebricks, from all the sugar mills, 1800s steam powered factories. Our only pictorial Hutch is a five pointed star. I dug one in 2010. It is a little distorted by melting, but whole & stands up. A pictorial crown has a Trevi fountain nymph & cherubs. I found one in 2009. I did dig one brick with a white glazed side, from a sanitary place, kitchen, operating theater? The dump was capped off in 1931 or so. A sorta shantytown that housed a lot of Waikiki employees was razed & beautified to Ala Moana Park. A lot of irrigation was redone a few years ago, so we hit it.
I’m just starting bottle collecting, oldest bottle I have is a 1953 Coca Cola hobble-skirt bottled locally in Natchez Mississippi, it’s a really cool hobby!
Love watching your videos.....was a big UK digger 30 years ago but despite not doing much recently always in your blood....love seeing those Hutchs come out.....
This for sure is the best bottle dig channel I have seen. The finds are awesome guys. Can't believe how deep yous go for the bottles. Thanks for sharing a great video :-)
Boy, you weren't kidding when you said this one would be the best yet! You guys found some absolutely fabulous bottles! Tell Santa to bring me one of those straight-sided, triple - embossed Coke bottles for Christmas! :-) Hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas!
You guys keep digging great stuff. I'll dig until my hands bleed if I have too lol The bottle hobby is a very addicting thing to be apart of. Saving history boys. You gotta love it. Keep posting!
Ahhh well there is always going to be junk. Just gotta hope when you hit that layer that the junk took most of the brunt and protected the good stuff. When it's the other way around it might make you cry lol
Great spot, great finds! Never dug a pictorial Hutch, tho I've pulled a couple of complete Hutches with fancy script embossing.. HH PS - Febriline was a quinine syrup for malaria.
I love antique bricks . Several years ago when I worked in B'ham they were digging up an alley and I was able to get about 600 bricks , they were all 4x4x8 inches . I lined the flower beds all the way across the front on my home and laid a beautiful side walk . I still have 40 or 50 stacked out back . Did I hear you say one time that you sold some of your bottles .
I do occasionally on ebay! My seller name is southern diggers. I still would like to get with you and do some arrowhead hunting.... its just been a crazy year!
@@adventurearchaeology Understand , most of our sites are off limits right now because of deer hunting but that will change in a month or so . I have a chance to go and check out a 3000 acre farm in Billingsly , Alabama . planning a trip there in January .
Love the knowledge you have both of your subjects and then going the extra mile to bring some more history to light for us. What a rewarding dig with the Camel and flat side Coke. Pity about the broken 3 side blue bottle. Hope there are more down there waiting for you. If you do collect the bricks and use them for a garden bed and or a letterbox please do show us in a video. Thanks for another great video.
Enjoyed this one twice over what editing software are you guy's using I especialy like the intro with the footsteps and the pan underground to reveal the layers of earth in your other intro's keep them coming enjoying the dig..Stay safe and well..
@@adventurearchaeology it was good of them to do such a great job really shows of your excellent channel.. thanks for letting me know have a great weekend.
In regards to the "Febriline" maybe a fever reducer? In medical terms "febrile" indicates a patient having a fever so that's why I was thinking that. Is the rust from metal breaking down or is there just a lot of naturally occurring iron in the soil?
Hi From Scotland Uk Loved your videos I thought a bit of advise about preserving labels might help out I have worked in preserving paper documents for years some rare documents indeed anyway if you buy online the following item clear fronted paper backed bags they come in all sizes as soon as you find a bottle with label place in to these bags don't buy bags with seal at top hope this helps Brandon
Adventure Archaeology nice that sounds like a great find. I have always considered any soda with pictorial Art Deco regardless of age. So what is the actual name of them? I’ve got them from 1880s-1920s
Adventure Archaeology well Art Deco definitely sounds better than old soda lol. I’ve got old sodas from my town that turn into Art Deco I guess. Both have the horsehead on the bottle just different variations throughout the years. From blob to machine. Good luck out there bud.
So with this dump and many of your other ones you guys dig sooo deep to find your bottles, I am way up north and up here i find most of my stuff within 3 feet of the surface or so, am i just missing out on the deep stuff or are some dumps just really shallow?
We usually rotate after every embossed bottle or every other embossed bottle. It works pretty good. And we have an agreement if something worth more than 1k$ comes out we will split it.
My dream is to head back east or south and find an old dump like this and dig up an old porcelain gas or oil sign. I have dreams about it lol. I would trade my old lady for a bf Goodrich silver town tire sign.

Bottles well earned! I'd say showers after that dust are the best feeling.

Well we dig a lot of junk too haha! But we just so happened to hit a hot spot and while the good bottles are coming out were running with it!
Ahhh well there is always going to be junk. Just gotta hope when you hit that layer that the junk took most of the brunt and protected the good stuff. When it's the other way around it might make you cry lol

Man altered rocks are my forte but can sure see the allure of digging for bottles, great day in the dirt guys, those camel sodas are too cool!
I figured you might like the Indian bottles! They have long been a favorite for me!

👍
I watch you dig and find bottles that appear old but toss them aside. Do you pick them up or just throw them away

Thanks! I am currently using Filmora. But the intro portion wasnt made with filmora or by me hahaha! I had someone do it for me!

Hey it would be really cool to make a wood burning stove with all that brick.

Very good info! Thanks for the advice!
WOW! That's a good dump!!!! I like your History Minute, great information! I'm glad I found ya!
Thanks for coming over to check us out!
These bottles are wonderful! How do you make a scratched and cloudy bottle clear again?
Tumbled with cut copper wire
Nice finds. Make sure that hole doesn’t cave in on you.
Build an outdoor grill with a chimney ‼️‼️‼️
How did you locate the dump, and, get permission?
Or a nice walkway with all those bricks!
Awesome video and dig with some kool bottles coming up.

Thanks for coming to the premiere and participating in the livechat!
It's amazing the value placed on junk from a hundred years ago 😂...
I love your channel . I wish i could buy one of your cokes or pepsi bottles. i cant find those up here in Canada.
Keep an eye on my ebay store. I list them quite frequently! My seller name is Southern Diggers.
Do you still have that Pepsi bottle? What does/did it go for?
Wow, you guys picked a nice spot! Did you ever come up with stamping on that brass key you found?
Yeah...it said Captains Quarters, RMS Titanic !
Great video This is a passion plus the history is fascinating. I have a question hopefully you will answer. How do you find places to dig ?
ruclips.net/video/DEkF2MT5JlI/видео.html
How do I just started doing this? I love this! Did you find an old dump or an old section of an existing dump. I have so many questions 😅
We have several how to videos on the channel be sure to give them a watch!
A stopper, how much $..?
Your video is very interesting👍👍, and I want to be friends with you, I'm from "Borneo Metal Detector" Indonesia 🇲🇨, Greetings ... 🙏👌👋
I think it's all good, I am old so I know.😁
Haha Kathy!
👍👍👍
Great video brother man. Love digging art decos. Looks like such a massive dump. What’s your greatest find there?
My greatest find was a 500$ hutch. But there have been coke hutchs dug out worth thousands. All of these bottles are pre Art Deco.
Adventure Archaeology nice that sounds like a great find. I have always considered any soda with pictorial Art Deco regardless of age. So what is the actual name of them? I’ve got them from 1880s-1920s
Art deco is considered to be 20s into 30s. These are just considered old sodas all dating pre 1915.
Adventure Archaeology well Art Deco definitely sounds better than old soda lol. I’ve got old sodas from my town that turn into Art Deco I guess. Both have the horsehead on the bottle just different variations throughout the years. From blob to machine. Good luck out there bud.
What part of the country are you from?
So with this dump and many of your other ones you guys dig sooo deep to find your bottles, I am way up north and up here i find most of my stuff within 3 feet of the surface or so, am i just missing out on the deep stuff or are some dumps just really shallow?
Some are shallow sadly most of ours are not.
@@adventurearchaeology ahh i see, any reliable method for figuring it out?
Just dig hahahah!
How do you decide who gets to keep which bottle?
We usually rotate after every embossed bottle or every other embossed bottle. It works pretty good. And we have an agreement if something worth more than 1k$ comes out we will split it.
Bricks aren't cheap to buy! Those older bricks make beautiful structures too.
Definitely!
Woah, you even pulled a iPhone out of that hole, how awesome
LOL!
Always enjoy your videos! Just curious, are these digs in a municipal dump?
They are in an old town dump! Our videos are compiled from several historic small town dumps. Thanks for watching our videos!
My dream is to head back east or south and find an old dump like this and dig up an old porcelain gas or oil sign. I have dreams about it lol. I would trade my old lady for a bf Goodrich silver town tire sign.
Febrile means having a fever, so Febriline May have been a fever reducer or headache remedy.
How much you want for the Macon coke???😁😁😁
Haha keep an eye on my Ebay store.....
@@adventurearchaeology how do I connect to your Ebay???
If you ever find any old traps I can identify them for you
Are you Patina Picker on ebay?

Where was the unexpected animal in this segment? I did not see you dig it out.

Ah, but didja walk a mile for it?😘
Do you need a permit/license to dig? In Australia that will take you right into jail
Where’s the animal. Clickbait!!!🙁
We found a camel
Oh! Sorry!😅
Man the Victorian ara is SO COOL! From awesome bottles to awesome houses! GL&hh
How do you decide where to dig?
