I'm 65 and have had a serious problem with my hands for over 20 years. I was unable to play guitar. I finally got my hands back and saw a Johnny video and ran out and bought a guitar and listening to every word Johnny can offer to me!! Very sweet manner and good ole boy ramble to him!! That's awesome you could solve this problem and keep rocking. I've had an issue with my ulnar nerve 5 years ago and only now I'm slowly recovering by playing easy bass guitar. I still got painful cramps when I pick up my guitar... really frustrating :(

Itzhak Perlman, for decades has shared his talent with those less fortunate in talent. Johnny Hiland carries on this tradition with a wonderful set of videos but he does it in a way that is geared for even a beginner. I am very obliged to Johnny for this and I am certain anyone learning this technique is as well!!

Johnny's right, that riff is a hard thing to play with the double bass notes! It took a couple of days and a lot of practice to get it so I can do it consistently, now I have to speed it up and learn to move it around like he does. What a talented guy!
