- A landmark moment in anyone's life has to be the first time they try FIVE GUYS - my goodness, it's always a step up from your usual fast food burger and fries.
Today my 9 yr old gets the experience - I'm taking her for her first ever FIVE GUYS for lunch while out on a shopping trip. Burger, fries and a shake - I think I am onto a winner! Can't believe she has never been before!!

What do you guys make of Five Guys? It's not cheap, but as a treat I reckon it's up there!

@@emjane74 I live down in Dorset, so it's a bit far, but I'll make a note of it in case I am ever in that neck of the woods. Just pulled up their website, and the burgers, strips etc look absolutely amazing. Never wanted a burger more at 8.15am than I do now!!

The patties are 100% beef with nothing else, which is great, but also there’s :

in that burger - and that’s only the bacon and cheese! 😮

It comes at a price, but it’s certainly worth trying! The fries are the best at any fast food chain I think. Plus you can completely customise the burger with any of their range of toppings. You could have them all if you wanted 🤣
Awww it's blooming chaos this time of year isn't it! Also sorry about your tooth, that must be awful. PHWOOOAR!! The food looks incredible! I've also never been to a five guys...although I think I will be trying it out now 😂
Yeah, it’s bonkers! We had a friend ask to get together over Xmas, and the only spare date we have at the moment was Dec 3rd! Tooth is all better now thankfully. As for Five Guys, yeah it was a real treat, highly recommended. The only let down was the bacon in retrospect, but with all the other customisation you can do there’s really no need for it. They do have veggie options too.
I'll try a five guys sometime if there's one in Newcastle when I go next month 👍
Looks like there are a couple in Newcastle Sarah, 1 right in town, one in the Metro Centre... I hope you enjoy it (you need to for the price ha ha!!)

Hi I'm a new subscriber and have just started to watch your channel 👍 If you get time would you try Greggs Christmas menu . Kids grow up so fast , me and my husband are grandparents. We remember taking our daughter to Five Guys years ago and we thought it was expensive then. Looking forward to seeing more videos 👍
Thanks for watching, and the lovely comment !! Yeah, the Greggs Christmas stuff is definitely on the list, might be a week or two until I can get there though, my nearest Greggs is about a 20 minute drive away 😂

But that looked really good, even if a bit pricey. Have to say though, I agree with your daughter, milkshakes are amazing!
I really wanted to chop my head off Lile, it was excruciating. A week's course of antibiotics did the trick though 😀 I've never been a huge fan of milkshakes, but I don't really like milk, so I guess that's why!!

I've been twice, once to break my duck, and once to give it a second chance. Ridiculous prices for an average (at best) burger. Fries were nice but if I'm paying £15-20 for a burger, fries and drink I want serving and I don't want the burger to look like it's been 5 rounds with Mike Tyson. Good video, but I won't be heading back again. Think how much you could get from Maccas for £15 !!!!
I’ve not been back to this Five Guys since my review, so I can only imagine how much more expensive it has got in the interim! I have to say though, I do like their burger, and the fact you can completely customise to your own taste. You’re right about the value though, you can get a lot more bang for your buck elsewhere (especially if you have the apps from McD, BK, KFC etc. for their deals and offers). Thanks for watching 😀

It’s on the list, there is one about a 20 minute drive from me, do you know if they will introduce any Christmas food items? That could bump them up that list!

Yeah, it does sound a little steep doesn’t it. But after seeng the portion size, and the quality then I guess it maybe wasn’t quite so bad?
Absolutely extortionate! Far better independent burger places to eat..

Yeah it’s not cheap, that’s for sure. We do have a couple of decent independents not too far from me, I plan to visit them to record a video before too long. Thanks for watching!
Over priced, and over rated.
Hi there - I agree it's definitely a high price for a burger and chips. But if you compare the quantity and quality of what you get to the likes of McD or Burger King and what they're charging right now, it's not that bad, especially as a very occasional treat. Thanks for watching!
