These animations are hauntingly lovely. I love reading through everyone's replies since more theories come together that way - compared to me just relying on my brain to piece it all.
Since the song is Russian, and many people know it, here is the text: Tili-tili-bom Close your eyes soon Someone is walking outside the window And knocks on doors Tili-tili-bom The night bird screams He has already made his way into the house To those who cannot sleep He's coming, he's already (Close) Tili-tili-bom Do you hear someone nearby? Lurking around the corner And pierces with a gaze Tili-tili-bom The mute night will hide everything He is sneaking behind you And is about to catch He's coming, he's already (Close) By the way, this is a lullaby for children.
@@cloe-mel6442 about nothing lol. It's just a creepy song. There is no such lullaby in Russian culture. Even tili bom~tili bom is just a first line from a song about cat's burned house.
fun fact that i just now realized: whenever the two kids would be in shot, the black hair always had the halo, but the white girl does not have one (even in 1:12 , you could still see the halo) it foreshadows the black hair's death (dying by being experimented on)
@@aropigeon9433 the white hair only has a flower crown on her head in the entirety of the video. The one im talking about is the big yellow halo just behind the black haired girl, it can also be seen on different artworks of jesus with a halo like symbol just behind the head
As a Native Russian speaker this is even more unsettling. I heard this song back when I was a kid and it utterly terrified me for days, hearing it years later this just just hits so much harder.
@@xXHibiscusXxc Firstly, I have no damn idea what people were on to make creepy lullabies to try to put children to sleep. After a Google search I've found that the song was used for a relatively new Russian horror film but people were unable to track down it's origin since it wasn't mentioned anywhere. There are several other lullabies that have less than pleasant lyrics. Here's what I found on the web. It gets the point across. A full on literal translation would be really wordy. Tili Tili Bom. Close your eyes now. Someone walking outside and Knocking on the door. Tili Tili Bom. The night birds are chirping. He's inside the house to Visit those who can't sleep. He walks. He is coming. Closer. Tili Tili Bom. Can you hear him coming? Lurking around the corner. Staring right at you. Tili Tili Bom. The silent night hides all. He sneaks up behind you and, he's going to get you. He walkes. He is coming. Closer. It doesn't have much to do with the animation, but it's really effective at being creepy.
The warped portrayal of religious renaissance paintings, the juxtaposition of the two girls being adored by a crowd with that same fickle crowd unknowingly (or perhaps knowingly) buying products with the girls in them, the sterile environment of it all…this was so chilling to watch. Kudos to you once again, VIVINOS, you never fail to impress with your original ideas 💕

My analysis: I think this is about non-cruelty-free animal products. At the beginning we can see that there is a black and white mouse in a cage, which then immediately cuts to a scene of human patients who are getting their heads shaved. These "patients" are a personification of the mice; they are in fact getting their fur shaved(0:29), and we can see that one of the "patients" a.k.a. the mouse, is dead(0:31), symbolizing how several animals have to die during testing processes. After that, there are a series of warping images of Jesus and Christianity, probably to symbolize human sacrifices, which are glorified. (0:41) Then there are two girls standing at an altar, dressed just like angels, and people that are praising them.(0:45) These two girls with black and white hair, are the human form of the black and white mouse. From 1:03-1:17, the two girls are dressed in white while riding a carriage and being lionized by people (which honestly seemed quite similar to the scene in Midsommar lol). But then, we cut to a scene of one of the girls being painfully tortured, with materials being injected into them, but with no one praising them this time(1:31 and 1:34).Then, there are also flashes of scenes that depict religious sacrifices, like the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins at 1:39, which is contrastingly surrounded by light and glory. At 1:45, we are brought back to the reality that these girls are actually testing mice, and that the black mice has tragically died as a result of the testing process. There is no one praising their sacrifice this time as well. During the entire video, the scenes of human sacrifices like Jesus and the two girls, (who are just a personification of the mice), are depicted in a glorifying and laudatory manner. However, the sacrifices of the two girls in their mice form goes unmentioned and buried under the consumption and branding of make-up products. To sum it up, I think this is about how we as a society glorify the concept sacrifices and pity those who died at the cost of others, but ignore the animal cruelty and sacrifice that have to go into fulfilling our needs.
I think the last scene supports this theory, since it shows a product being bought. We can infer that it is a skincare product because of the poster in the background.
Maybe it means that society sees animal testing as a necessary sacrifice (In Christianity, Christ sacrifices his life to save humanity, so his death was necessary. So we can assume that same concept is mirrored with the mice through them being worshipped, as depictions of religious imagery is shown) but the inhumane conditions and animal cruelty is ignored. In the end, all the suffering leads to a skincare product on a shelf. So kind of the same thing you stated in your last sentence, but a little different.
I was thinking that they were being praised in their human form as cats and dogs are, like mascots that everyone cares about, looking forward for their safety and well-being, and loving them for how cute and adorable they are. But when it comes to their mice form, no one gives a f*ck. Just like we don’t care about pigs and cows being brutally treated, and the cruelty of animal testing. Showing that we are hypocrites.

Does the apathetic white one remind anyone else of the mouse utopia experiment? For anyone unfamiliar, the mouse utopia experiment placed mice inside an environment with everything they'd need. This included enclosed spaces for dens, nesting materials, food and water. After a few generations, it produced what the conductor of the experiment called "the beautiful ones". All they did was eat, groom, and sleep. Other than that, they were completely apathetic. They didn't engage in social behaviors, did not mate, and if they did have offspring, they wouldn't care for them. The population stagnated and died out.

The story revolves around animal testing and how the rats are presented as sacrifices (e. g Cross). The products used on them then are distributed to the public after its deemed safe. (The crowds/hands waiting) The white rat is lifeless after being imprisoned and tortured under inhumane conditions, but this can only be recognised when re imagined as a human subject.
I never took the time to watch this one, but holy shit. The way that final shot is presented is so incredibly effective at explaining the whole video and what it aims to represent.
Theory: the story is from the perspective of two rats in a beauty product testing lab. The albino rat takes it at face value for what it is, they are trapped to be tested on by humans, over and over until they drop dead. Her point is later strengthened by the black rats death, soon after she figures out what they were being tested for. However, the black rat believes they are making an important sacrifice. If she complies with the scientists, she is doing it for the betterment of society, perhaps she believes that her testing will result in cures for diseases. She believes that she is being rewarded with food for her sacrifice, perhaps one day even her freedom, so she encourages the albino rat to follow suite. But it’s useless, the black rat dies after prolonged abuse, her testing was for nothing but another product on a shelf. She can and will be replaced with thousands of other poor creatures lined up to meet their graves. The albino rat knew they were no special saviors to begin with.

While I’m sure this is about animal testing, I feel like the scene at 1:11 paints a picture that the two girls were treated at angels. Possibly the cure to some plague. The black-haired girl cares for the people and is happy to help. The white-haired girl does not care in the slightest. She is simply following orders. The black-haired girl, with her big heart and compassion, reaches back to the crowd and holds their hand. However, it is this contact that infects her and kills her. Ironically the girl who did not care for the people was able to survive due to her apathetic nature. I know it has nothing to do with the skincare, but this narrative really tugs something at me
Theories aside, that's really creative to portray these animal experiments as humans, children even. People have a hard time sympathizing with animal cruelty because "they're just animals!", so putting it in a new perspective and imagining humans in that position really shows how horrible it is. It doesn't matter if it's an animal or human or even plant, a life is a life and it doesn't deserve to go through these torturous methods even if it's for our own comfort. The visual criticism of 'sacrifice' being portrayed here is also really clever. We try to excuse these experiments by saying it's 'sacrifice' and using other examples of it to justify their deaths. The animals never asked to be sacrificed in the first place. We justify it by saying we honor their sacrifices when really we're just happy we don't need to be used for these experiments. Anyways great video
@@nylamaris5107 no. That's why it's our job to determine that. I think this says more about our own morals as humans rather than if animals have morals
This video is way more powerful than the “Save Ralph” one that went viral this year. The message against animal testing is clear, we as humans see the rats as martyrs that have died for our own benefit. But the lab rats never had the choice to participate in our experiments. And for something as simple and vain as cosmetics? Not really worth the suffering of another living creature…
Saving Ralph is really effective in its own way in my opinion. In vivono's Lots of people thought the rat part was just a visual metaphor/allegory for the cult/plage thing.
You see... With Vivinos you have to think in order to get said conclusion. With Save Ralph, you can't tell me that you didn't instantly get the message, so seeing a bunny get some random ish put into his eye and coming out blind, isn't a strong way to portray a message? Man... Just because it was filmed in a 'Light-hearted' manner doesn't mean it's not powerful. Thanks for introducing me to that video though.
Which is why I chose to be vegan for the rest of my life. I will not support violence especially not when its needless. I urge everyone else to do the same... the suffering must end.
So I got my own little theory: their sacrafice was for nothing. Obviously it seems like they're performing tests on the kids to find the cure for an illness, but in the end it looks like those bottles are more of a beauty product..? That made me think that maybe the whole thing with the people worshipping the kids was only how the black haired girl saw it, since she believed herself to be some kinda savior (maybe to cope with what's happening to them?) But in the end it was like so many animal experiments: not for the good of humankind or some BS, but for something comparatively unnecessary. Also the symbolism is amazing, especially at 1:25 where the halo-like thingie is only behind the black haired one's head, indicating that she sees herself as a savior while the boy doesn't share that feeling.
To add to this theory I’d like to add some evidence that I haven’t seen people mentioning In the scene that shows the black haired girl being experimented on there’s a image flashed of a hand with a nail put up to it then a flash of a hand with a needle being put into it
@@ihatgoomba4672 through the rest of the video, it shows Renaissance paintings distorted. The nail in the wrist is actually part of a painting with Jesus being nailed to the cross! It was just to reference the rest of the vid :)
EDIT FOR CONTEXT: sorry this is so long lol- most beauty products test on animals which is horrible. This is the sacrifice I'm talking about. So I'm guessing this has something to do with "sacrifice" where everyone relies on them which is represented by all the religious images and hands trying to reach them. And the "sacrifice" is foreshadowed by the images of jesus as we all know he dies for the sins of everyone. The little girls represent the rats in the cage, kinda adding to the pity factor as you see them as humans and these horrific experiments. Only to find out that this "sacrifice" is for mere products on a shops shelf. Edit: some people are asking about the same things so I'll just put a reply here "what about the hands reaching out for them, why did they reach out to the brown girl instead of the albino/ what do you think they knew-did they know about the beauty product?" I saw the hand scene more figuratively than literally. fact that the girls were praised and held higher than the people could have symbolised the shelf, it's not so much of a" thank you" to them but a way of showing how people mindlessly take products- like "people" worshipping the girls . Representing them as strong figures sacrificing themselves for the sake of every one. And so when the hands reach out to her, instead of the 2 girls, it could have been the product of the shelf. So when the girl reached her hand out back, it shows her in a halo, a stairway to heaven, and eventually her death showing that was her sacrifice. A long painful glorified death for products on a shelf. The scene at the end of the albinos eyes was a peek into what the sacrifice was for mere beauty products.
The last line gave me chills. And the analysis that the depiction of rats as human girls serve the artistic function of „adding to the pity factor” for the viewers? Fantastic. Thank you for this thoughtful interpretation!
But they were being paraded around and one of the girls touched the hand of a passerby. How can they do that if they were actually rats the whole time? And in real life companies try to hide the fact the they test on animals or that there would be any animals involved in the first place. These girls are practically celebrities or i guess religious figures to everyone outside

People have already talked about why this is about animal cruelty in the making of cosmetics, but I just thought of something. People are seeing the plague imagery as misleading and not related the cosmetics and animal cruelty theme, but I don't think so. The parallels with plagues and religion actually only strenghten the theme of the video. Religion is seen as a way to give eternal life, free of death and suffering, and plagues and diseases were (and still are, by some people) seen as divine punishment/retribution for "sins". Aging reminds people that they're not going to live forever, and it is too seen as divine punishment actually, seeing as "humans sinned and were forbidden from the garden where they had eternal life and never aged or suffered" is, like, the Adam and Eve story summed up lol. Then, come in the cosmetics, which can be used because people want eternal youth, eternal beauty, because they don't want to remember that they too will die one day. The syringe filling with "holy water" to be used in animal experiments for the development of cosmetics makes the relation between these imageries even stronger (holy water can cure diseases, diseases are divine punishments; if aging is seen as a punishment, the cosmetics can "cure" it.) The red gaze of the white mouse at the end is chilling. He is still alive, unlike the brown mouse girl, but for how long? Just until the testing for the next cosmetics begin, probably.
I don't think the symbolism for religion is that deep. Jesus death was represented as the ultimate sacrifice in christianity since he was a pure being free of sin yet he die a miserable way, how sinner supposed to die to save humans. Lab rat die bcs we tested vaccine, cosmetics etc to them. They were 'innocent' just like Jesus yet they experience something that actually should happen to us
It also comes full circle with the knowledge that these are mice or rats. Fleas that carry the plague naturally live on and among essentially all rodents, though rats and mice are the ones often vilified most for it. Beyond that, many people tried to alleviate the plague by turning to religion, torturing non-Christians and committing acts of self-harm in the thoughts that they might appease an angry God. 'Flagellants' would wander the streets in large, manic groups, whipping themselves ('flagellum' referring to 'whip') until their skin was raw and bloodied, and sometimes smearing the blood onto rags or clothing. The bloody clothing itself would sometimes be seen as holy, as it was a sort of 'proof' of repentance.
Ugh, that makes this so much worse, it feels so much more like they’re feeling this sense of dread when the scientists are walking near and about to do the experiments… *shudders*
is it just me or do people seem to be trying their hardest to get the most complicated theory possible out of this one? to me it’s pretty simple-it’s about how animal testing is often seen as a necessary sacrifice for the comfort of humans (hence all the christian imagery + the people bowing down to the girls/rats), even when it causes incredible pain and fear for the animals themselves
Yep. It’s just a very well done video with a message against animal testing for cosmetics. I remember seeing a statue of a mouse on the internet to “honor” the mice that “bravely gave their lives for science.” Yet those animals don’t ever have a choice.
I mean you can't really blame people for not immediately getting that, the imagery in this one is pretty wild. thats not a criticism or anything, the religious imagery with the two children can just easy throw you off the scent
Sometimes it seems like they start making theories before finishing the video, most of the times the last scene has the twist which would explain everything.
THANK YOUU. It's honestly kinda bothering me that people are typing things out of nowhere, like a cult or smth no, yall are missing the main point of the video
At the shot where we zoom back into the White Rat's eyes, it looks as if his eyes are filled with anger... I smell a revenge massacre on it's way, Madness/Pico style.
drawing connections between sacrificing lives in cults to animal testing, both done with the idea that its "better for humankind", treated like a good deed when in fact its just messed up! i love this..
Personally, I think the white haired girl was never friends with the dark haired one. While she understands the reality of the situation (and her ultimate role in the possible “cult” of the video if that’s even real), the dark haired girl believes they are loved for themselves even though they are only used for the products and consumption of the people praising them. When the dark haired girl dies, the video shows the black rat dead in the cage and the white rat staring through it. The next scene shows bottles containing some sort of beauty product and the colors correspond with the girls. A person chooses the red and white one which basically shows us that the white haired girl “won” whatever test they were put through but it’s meaningless as she’s still trapped. I’m not too sure about all the religious imagery and how that fits in with the lab rat metaphor though BUT I will mention that the same sun behind Jesus at 0:55 shows up behind the black haired girl at 1:12 perhaps showing she was a golden child of sorts and was expected to survive the test. Could be a metaphor about evil prevailing? Idk
The price of Beauty FHDJDJDJJSJSJ this gives whole new perspective to how animal experiments and Beauty products or pharmaceutical products are related + the creepy song TUT I feel so bad for the black (lab rat girl) she thought she was doing all this to save the people for something greater but the white (lab rat girl) she knew that nothing was for the greater good aahh gosh I love these small animation videos they keep getting better

something i've been thinking about: the hands seen at 1:02 could either be seen as the consumers of the end product lovingly praising the lab rat that had been tested on for their benefit, or hands of the other (dead) lab rats attempting to pull her away. martyrdom is what gives suffering and unjust death significance. having it be a metaphor for animal testing is a concept that is downright chilling.
I've heard this song in Mr Incredible memes more times than I care to count, and it has never even creeped me out, but this rendition of it, combined with the visuals, made me sick to my stomach. Congratulations, Vivinos, you've actually scared me.
I’m guessing the brown haired girl next to her is also being used in the experiments as well as her possible crush or even girlfriend. In the teaser, it showed two lab rats, one white with red eyes and the other a brown one. I’m guessing they represent these two, being used in a grand experiment. Who wants to bet one of them dies and the other goes full rampage and destroys everyone with possible powers they got from the experiments? Also I’m getting some Midsommar vibes from this pic.
@@ihkn4212 thanks. What if twist the white haired girl dies and the brown haired one rampages. In the pic it shows a sun behind her head. Usually that’s a Holy symbol used to signify someone of importance. Anything else u think could possibly happen?
@@dnpanimationstudio382 hmm let's see, actually I haven't thought of that case yet. but i think in the teaser there's only one more girl looking very white haired girl, maybe it's the same species, i mean the "rat" species, or maybe it's her clone too lol . oh and vivinos says in the warning that it contains "cult religion", maybe about that black haired girl and it makes your theory sound more convincing
Small brain theory : The girls are twins, one normal and one is albino. If u compare them, they have the same hair length and hairstyle, but different hair type (one straight and one a bit curly, i guess), which is a common potrayal of a pair of twins in animations Both somehow survived a plague, and people starts worshipping them. In my opinion, the normal one is more naïve : she smiles, and she greets people who praises them, while the albino one seems more quiet... Idk how they ended up being tested like rat labs, but i think people who praises them think the twins are like Jesus who voluntarily saves the world (explaining why there's Jesus symbolisms). The black one died first, probably bcs volunteering first and believes that it's her role (as a savior? A model?), leaving the albino one. But i think in general, it's about animal testings, specially in the past where scientists use them for searching medications and cosmetics, giving them dangerous materials and such, and many died. In Russia, if i remember correctly, they have a rat memorial statue to remember those rats and their contribution to science world More things : the albino one probably doesn't like the idea of being a praised figure, explaining why the halos only appeared on the black haired. Also a nice thing to be think about : rat labs are usually potrayed by white rats, while plagues are usually with black rats. I wonder if this has something to do too Edit 2 : After i rethink again : probably the story of the girls are on "different" timeline with the rats. The girls are probably taken by a medical institutions to search how they can be immune to a plague (bcs i think beauty products experimentation doesn't involve injecting things, but many rats killed bcs external exposure to the chemical things, correct me if i'm wrong), but their conditions are similiar to rat labs on beauty products experimentation. Edit 3 : sorry it's actually a girl and a boy (the albino is a boy, stated on twitter), but i still think they're a pair of twins. Leaving more questions : i wonder why the albino is drawn with long hair and female clothes? To emphasize they're a twins? Or he's forced? Or bcs VIVINOS just like drawing out of the box so there's no specific reason / symbolism (the previous videos have a girl looks like a boy, although still using female school uniforms, who knows)?
or, cause white hair boy knows hes a lab rat, (or they both know it and black haired just goes with it and becomes je sus) (cuz in her ayes(literaly) they are lab rats)
@@louzo5175 i think both are girls, tbh. Whether both knows they're "rat labs" or "sacrifices", i think only the albino who sees them like that (because both in the opening and the ending, the rats are shown from the albino's eyes, not her twins / siblings / friends) Edit : wait i just checked on twitter about VIVINOS' statement. Yes it's a boy, sorry
Nice analysis!! I never thought about the different representation or symbol of the black/white rat, feel like I can build up a lot more to my interpretation now after seeing yours
The ending scene where it all makes sense gave me chills You’re one of my favourite content creators and your artistic skills and storytelling skills are fantastic
EDIT: Vivinos stated on their twitter the white-haired child is actually a boy! Very interesting, it doesn't change my theory much but I think it's an interesting detail. I feel like this is interesting because it has a lot of elements and less hints than other VIVINOS videos. I assume this goes along a simple story that focuses on the beauty products shown at the end. I think that, regardless of specific scenario, it's plausible that these two children were seen as "saviors" against death, or whatever sickness was affecting the people of the place they lived in. Maybe it doesn't make sense but I feel like there's some sort of Jesus/Judas symbolism going on, with the brown-haired girl being the first and the albino being the second. Otherwise I can't explain why they'd show crucifixed Jesus before the frame where the brown girl evidently died. It could be about these children being literally used to create/test on products that persevere eternal beauty and youth, so to speak? Someone pointed out these two children are possibly personification of the rats, since it's (unfortunately) common for beauty product companies to experiment with their products on animals, and that the "human" versions of said rats are more like a metaphorical vision of the experimentation process. It's definitely very subtle and chilling. It might be inspired by Midsommar but it's an entirely different spin imo.
ohoho i thought whitehaired bought a thing and then somehow poisoned blackhaired, but this makes so much sence aka jesus stuff, they make save pills from their bodies (and imagery what blackhaired sacrificed herself or somebody else, and white haired survived) its or saving pills, or beaty saving pills(second make more sence)
@@louzo5175 It's definitely interesting how many ways this can be interpreted! It's a curious way to criticize the inhuman treatment of animals and children for products in general, whether the animal/human are the metaphor or not. But in a literal storyline sense I can see this being about a weird messed up cult that makes beauty preserving products by using "holy children"
The part with Jesus crucified can be explained by the fact that He died for our sins, this sacrifice is meant to save everyone. I guess the black haired girl saw herself as a savior, she died to save people ? Meanwhile the boy with white hair just saw themselves as labrat..
@@misstell7645 I think this makes a lot of sense, I've read someone theorize this and I feel like it's interesting too... The girl thought she was dying for a good cause, whereas the boy maybe saw the "end that justified the means" so to speak, aka the beauty products/the sacrifice, but it's not clear what his blank stare means. It's hard to tell if he's "forgiving but not forgetting" if it makes sense
@@duckzone it felt to me like they both keep getting reincarnated as sacrifice and the white haired child was able to remember that somehow.. the blank stare could mean that they knew how it all would end up.

He has already made his way into the house

Firstly, I have no damn idea what people were on to make creepy lullabies to try to put children to sleep.
Someone walking outside and
Knocking on the door.
Tili Tili Bom.
The night birds are chirping.
He's inside the house to
Visit those who can't sleep.

My analysis:
I think this is about non-cruelty-free animal products.
Then there are two girls standing at an altar, dressed just like angels, and people that are praising them.(0:45) These two girls with black and white hair, are the human form of the black and white mouse.
I agree, but small detail is, most of the things they (animals) die for is not what we need, but what we want, unfortunately.
@@cantgetfiredbecauseidontha1072 Woah! That honestly makes so much sense lol. Thanks for letting me know 😁
I was thinking that they were being praised in their human form as cats and dogs are, like mascots that everyone cares about, looking forward for their safety and well-being, and loving them for how cute and adorable they are. But when it comes to their mice form, no one gives a f*ck. Just like we don’t care about pigs and cows being brutally treated, and the cruelty of animal testing. Showing that we are hypocrites.

(The crowds/hands waiting) The white rat is lifeless after being imprisoned and tortured under inhumane conditions, but this can only be recognised when re imagined as a human subject.

Thanks i was confused what was happening

Can animals understand what it means "to deserve something" in a moral sense in the first place, though?
@@nylamaris5107 no. That's why it's our job to determine that.
I think this says more about our own morals as humans rather than if animals have morals
The red-eyed stare of the white mouse at the end really screams 'I'll never forgive you for this'

Thanks for introducing me to that video though.

a russian song with a korean story in a english site mr world wide
So I got my own little theory: their sacrafice was for nothing.
Obviously it seems like they're performing tests on the kids to find the cure for an illness, but in the end it looks like those bottles are more of a beauty product..? That made me think that maybe the whole thing with the people worshipping the kids was only how the black haired girl saw it, since she believed herself to be some kinda savior (maybe to cope with what's happening to them?)
But in the end it was like so many animal experiments: not for the good of humankind or some BS, but for something comparatively unnecessary.
Also the symbolism is amazing, especially at 1:25 where the halo-like thingie is only behind the black haired one's head, indicating that she sees herself as a savior while the boy doesn't share that feeling.
the white haired was confirmed as a guy by the creator themselves btw
@@sana_2920 oh, thanks for telling me.
Just like lab rats, they die not for themselves but due to the selfishness of humans
To add to this theory I’d like to add some evidence that I haven’t seen people mentioning
In the scene that shows the black haired girl being experimented on there’s a image flashed of a hand with a nail put up to it then a flash of a hand with a needle being put into it
@@ihatgoomba4672 through the rest of the video, it shows Renaissance paintings distorted.
Edit: some people are asking about the same things so I'll just put a reply here
"what about the hands reaching out for them, why did they reach out to the brown girl instead of the albino/ what do you think they knew-did they know about the beauty product?"
I saw the hand scene more figuratively than literally. fact that the girls were praised and held higher than the people could have symbolised the shelf, it's not so much of a" thank you" to them but a way of showing how people mindlessly take products- like "people" worshipping the girls .
Nice
that was a perfect explanation.
But whats the symbolism with the dark haired girl being more "loved" by the people and having a halo while the other does not?

The syringe filling with "holy water" to be used in animal experiments for the development of cosmetics makes the relation between these imageries even stronger (holy water can cure diseases, diseases are divine punishments; if aging is seen as a punishment, the cosmetics can "cure" it.)
The red gaze of the white mouse at the end is chilling. He is still alive, unlike the brown mouse girl, but for how long? Just until the testing for the next cosmetics begin, probably.
i love it!!
@abi daniel there are longer comments in this section bruh
@@koheirichan RUclips users when they see someone make a comment with more than 3 sentences because they can't read:

This video is disturbing on a different level. Makes me think really hard about the cruelty of such experiments....
everyone is scared when vivinos posts
but fr, everything is godly made
is it just me or do people seem to be trying their hardest to get the most complicated theory possible out of this one? to me it’s pretty simple-it’s about how animal testing is often seen as a necessary sacrifice for the comfort of humans (hence all the christian imagery + the people bowing down to the girls/rats), even when it causes incredible pain and fear for the animals themselves
everyone wants to be the next einstein

Idk
shes portrayed and treated as a "sacrifice" of sorts just like jesus was.
The white haired one is a boy
The golden sun is actually a halo used in a lot of religious art pieces through time, signifying divinity :)

martyrdom is what gives suffering and unjust death significance. having it be a metaphor for animal testing is a concept that is downright chilling.

Yes ! I think so too 😭🙏
@@ihkn4212 thanks. What if twist the white haired girl dies and the brown haired one rampages. In the pic it shows a sun behind her head. Usually that’s a Holy symbol used to signify someone of importance. Anything else u think could possibly happen?
galaxy brain theory
In the pinned comment, they do cite their inspirations and they do include midsommar :) anyways, interesting theory !
Omg I'm so in love with that style т_т
Small brain theory :
The girls are twins, one normal and one is albino. If u compare them, they have the same hair length and hairstyle, but different hair type (one straight and one a bit curly, i guess), which is a common potrayal of a pair of twins in animations
Both somehow survived a plague, and people starts worshipping them.
In Russia, if i remember correctly, they have a rat memorial statue to remember those rats and their contribution to science world
More things : the albino one probably doesn't like the idea of being a praised figure, explaining why the halos only appeared on the black haired.
Also a nice thing to be think about : rat labs are usually potrayed by white rats, while plagues are usually with black rats. I wonder if this has something to do too
Edit 2 :
After i rethink again : probably the story of the girls are on "different" timeline with the rats.
Whether both knows they're "rat labs" or "sacrifices", i think only the albino who sees them like that (because both in the opening and the ending, the rats are shown from the albino's eyes, not her twins / siblings / friends)
Edit : wait i just checked on twitter about VIVINOS' statement. Yes it's a boy, sorry
Nice analysis!! I never thought about the different representation or symbol of the black/white rat, feel like I can build up a lot more to my interpretation now after seeing yours
He was dressed as a girl too.. what if it’s because of his beauty? He looks perfectly feminine
It's not long hair, I think. It's a veil.
Every song she choose for the mv is addicting in a weird way
The ending scene where it all makes sense gave me chills
You’re one of my favourite content creators and your artistic skills and storytelling skills are fantastic
vivions this is sooo kawaiiii>_
It might be inspired by Midsommar but it's an entirely different spin imo.
ohoho
i thought whitehaired bought a thing and then somehow poisoned blackhaired, but
this makes so much sence
aka jesus stuff, they make save pills from their bodies (and imagery what blackhaired sacrificed herself or somebody else, and white haired survived)
its or saving pills, or beaty saving pills(second make more sence)
