- Mark Driscoll Kicked off Stage at Stronger Mens Conference 2024 with Full Video. A large Men’s Conference brought in a pole dancing male stripper as entertainment. And one of the conference speakers Pastor Mark Driscoll rebuked the leadership of the church for allowing this in the middle of the event. And Mark Driscoll was kicked off stage at end event in the middle of his sermon. A verbal fight breaks out between Mark Driscoll and the Lead Pastor for the event. The footage went live on Twitter and it got over 10 million views of Mark Driscoll kicked out of church. This all happened at the Stronger Men’s Conference in Springfield, MO. Led by Mega Church Pastor John Lindell. This event was held at Great Southern Bank Arena with thousands in attendance. The male stripper named Alex Magala who open the event described as “the finest swordsman in all the world,” Mark Driscoll stronger mens event is now all over internet. Church Pastor John Lindell that got up on stage to say Mark Driscoll should have done this privately as the Bible states in Matthew 18. I will show Mark Driscoll stronger mens 2024 full video. John the Baptist, Paul and Jesus all called out religious leaders publicly and offered rebukes. These were often very harsh in doing so. Dr Michael Browns Comments on the matter...... "Matthew 18 has nothing to do with this at all. The pastor (or the performer) did not sin against Driscoll personally; he/they sinned against God and those attending in general. Matthew 18 applies to matters of personal offense and sin. That being said, again, the proper order, being under the authority of the leaders for whom you speak while there, would have been to speak to the pastor first, but I'm personally glad that Driscoll said something even if he didn't follow perfect order, and our entire focus should be on why on earth this man was invited (may he really come to know the Lord!) and why the pastor allowed it, not on the protocol of Driscoll's actions."
It has nothing to do with Matthew 18 and has everything to do with corruption in the church. Hopefully other pastors would stand up and speak out.

@sjrclark6618 Great point - I believe that is a big reason why Driscoll said what he said from the pulpit, because the men needed to be awakened to what was taking place. How they were being deceived. Similar to Peter being rebuked by Paul publicly, it needed to be done that way because Peter's actions were influencing almost everyone there, even Barnabas.
Mark Driscoll was right to rebuke this.

Driscoll knew he wouldn't be allowed to speak if he brought it up beforehand and that it needed to be addressed to the people who were subjected to the sinful, ungodly display.

How is it that this whole display would not be clear to a pastor? Or anyone who calls themself a believer?? This is a slap in the face of Christ. This conference has nothing to do with the Gospel! I would LOVE the chance to speak at a Christian men's conference and rebuke the crowd for making an idol out of sports and sports figures! I wonder how well that would go over? But its absolutely TRUE! The men in church have made an idol out of sports!
I would like to politely correct a few things. I was there for both days of this conference. I was heart sick over everything that happened and have struggled with several issues.
1. The tank was part of last year’s conference, not this one.
2. I don’t believe pastor Lindell had anything to do with the selection of the acts but certainly whoever did, failed to do their homework on this performer.
3. Mark wasn’t forced to leave. Pastor Lindell caught Mark outside as he was leaving and they talked. Then they both came back in and sat together on stage and restored the relationship between them.
My honest opinion sitting there was that both men could’ve handled this thing differently. Mark could have talked to John about it prior to see what John’s response would’ve been. He didn’t. John could’ve sat there and listened to see what else Mark was going to say. Mark had the hearts and attention of the men in that moment. I personally felt like John was embarrassed and angry at Mark for being called out and he was protecting his brand more than he was interested in hearing what God might be saying in that moment. John could’ve let it go, then talk to Mark between sessions and then respond to what was said.
I felt convicted in those moments in regard to the church inviting too much of the world in and I’m praying God gives grace to both men on this situation so that the enemy will not be given even more an opportunity to defame God.

This is the very reason my husband and I left churches. Thank God we found a spiritually healthy church. This kind of conference will not sit well with my pastor that I can tell you. He preached on this before and I know some people in the church didn't like it but the rest of us appreciated the message. Mark did the right thing. I think he rattled the demonic cage on that day. You publically humiliated God so you will be publically rebuked. Who knows God warned the pastor once before but did not listen. So God will expose you. The ones who remained seated will face the wrath of God if they don't repent. The conference was sick. In these last days you can't afford to live a willy nilly spiritual life. We should be blazing fire for the LORD. God bless you my brother for bringing this up.

I've been to men's Christian conferences many times in my life but nothing even remotely similar to this would have even been thought off, let alone permitted. Those conferences emphasized prayer, repentance and drawing closer to Christ. I looked up the James River Church's list of fundamental truths. They appear to be a charismatic church. It is shocking to read their beliefs and then see what was allowed at that conference. A male stripper pole dancing, tanks crushing cars, and pyrotechnics? And most men stayed in their seats. I know very little about Marc Driscoll but he was right.
Of course its a charismatic church. Baptist would never do something like this
Thank you for your work in edifying and warning the body of Christ. Here in The Bahamas a female pastor who is Pentecostal played a reggae song during her sermon as she danced. This was about six or seven years ago. She was either in her 30s or 40s. Within 24 or so hours she had a massive heart attack and died. Many within the Bahamian church believed she was struck down by God in divine judgment. I think the American church had better wake up before it too experiences a divine visitation

The pastor was wrong citing Matthew 18. It had no bearing or guidance in this situation. The pastor was embarrassed and tried to save face. Sad situation and painful to watch. But, the church is being tested and these things are going to happen more often. That pastor had zero discernment and needs to take a really hard look at what is going on in his church.

Tragically, the need for entertainment in the church has become an essential part to keep its audiences occupied. Just look at so-called worship services . You have flashing lights, smoke, you name it. Worship leaders play to the emotions of their audiences. Leaven has leavened the whole lump. The world system has permeated the whole church.
I will say this though: the Lord is in the process of cleansing His House, and it's not pretty.

I am totally shocked what has happened to our men? No-one left or showed their distaste and horror. Were there ones who actually showed their support of Mark Driscoll? I was unable to make it out as to whether they were booing John Lindell or Mark Driscoll at the end...No wonder the Church is in the state that it is. As a woman viewing this, I didn’t see a “stripper.” I saw a man take off his jacket, do a sword-swallowing act made more difficult by balancing on a pole. There was nothing suggestive about any of it to me. Instead, I was impressed with his manly physique, strength, and daredevil quality. I think that was the intent for a Men’s Conference, right?
I don’t know anything about the pastors, the performer or the event so I won’t judge motives. This is my objective opinion from what I saw.
There was a moment there…. A opportunity missed. What if at that moment the pastor had got up and humbled himself…. Accepting responsibility and publicly repenting. What amazing work God could have done. Instead he asserted his authority and wronged every man in that audience.
Incidentally also, exposing himself to the world.

Im not shocked the church is going to be judged Our Father takes seriously the suffering of his son! He will not be mocked. Im so upset for our Savior. And he Driscoll apologized no no no. Omg! What’s frightening but not surprising is how when he was trying to stand up for something that was right. The people sounded like the crowd crucify him it’s just sick. Anyway,the guy tending to the computers said that almost all had been looking at pornography another spirit, sad. How about a conference teaching looking after the orphan and widow, let alone loving their wife as Christ loves the Church.😢

Mark D. speaking about the "Jezebel spirit" on that stage could have been more impactful if we among charismatics (taught constantly by Paul C--n's and M. Bickl-'s circles) had not so frequently labeled so many as having that spirit. We wasted that label so much on so many well-meaning fellow believers that we let the urgency of that word slip down for so many when it could have had a deeper affect. I'm glad Mark was bold enough to confront that place.

I wish people could wake up to the spirit of Idolatry that has crept i to the churches. The performance was a blatant example of it. It had the High Places, Immodesty (read about the sexual immorality of pagan worship..it's all in the Bible, the Asherah Pole, and the attempt to ascend. It has grieved me for many years.

I was visiting at a church 9 months ago. New pastor (old church) of about 60 yrs old said-- when speaking about the church bbq coming up with two big smokers at it- he said --we'll have two big smokers and I don't mean fat people who smoke. He actually said that out loud.
Sick churches. Not one member said anything. A lady next to me in leadership said, oh, ha, that funny.

I was told they brought back Driscoll later in the conference and had a discussion between Driscoll and Lindell. For me, that still doesn't make me feel confident in the theology of Lindell.
People Shouldn't be going to church for entertainment and loving the things of the world. That is useless and not what church is for.

Who said he knew what was planned. An itinerary on paper could have been given to him that just said "opening to the event" without describing it. You assume too much.
Such an incredible lack of wisdom we are seeing amongst the “leadership” in these churches today. Would Lindell have kicked Jesus out for flipping tables and giving an openly strong rebuke? They all sat there tolerating this inappropriate display and all needed to be admonished for doing so.
That clip did not show stripping or pole dancing. That doesnt mean it was a good choice for a Christian event.

Agreed, American Christianity is weak, and it's only been recently I have dived deeply into the Bible questioning my upbringing and philosophies that I had to admit that I have been led wrong by people I trusted.
It's baffling to me, considering the culture wars, the war against woke, and the false doctrine of Christian nationalism, this guy got through the vetting process. I see a lot of selective outrage these days, that to me shows that sins are selective as to what they want to be exposed to. Makes you wonder what's more important--ticket receipts or the actual values they claim they are bringing people together to promote.

Don't kid yourself i will guarantee you those men were enjoying it because if it was so offensive then why in gods name did they not walk out. The flesh wants to hear a motivational speaker but the spirit wants to read the Word of God.
The flesh wants to have holy laughter imparted to them but the spirit wants patience, kindness, mercy, love for others, long suffering, compassion and forgiveness from the heart developed in them.
The flesh wants to be slain in the spirit,
but the spirit wants to kneel in conviction and be granted repentance unto life.
The flesh wants to be promised prosperity, influence, promotion, wealth, health, prestige, good fortune and happiness, suffering on their enemies; and the pride of life.
But the spirit wants humility, character developed, to humble itself
And to learn obedience to Christ Jesus.
To think about others above self.
To put themselves in the other person's shoes;
and think about how to serve others, and show mercy.
The flesh wants God to zap them and is all about self absorption and good things for self,
but the spirit wants to make a determined effort to obey Jesus and put Him above our self will and feelings and wants. The spirit wants to crucify the flesh. That is die to self.
The flesh wants to serve self, but the spirit wants to serve others.
The flesh wants to listen to Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyers, and other motivational speakers who teach how great you are and what you can do and what you can have and what you are going to get,
The spirit wants to listen to Billy Graham and Charles Spurgeon.
The flesh wants satisfaction now.
The spirit waits and hopes for the eternal.

You do know that the guy hired for entertainment was a sword swallower and not a stripper, don’t you? Pastor Lindell discussed with Driskell off-stage about what was happening, then they both returned to the stage together to discuss the incidence. I have been to James River Assembly of God several times when in Springfield, MO and can tell you that John Lindell is a straight up, God-fearing man of God. What Believers HAVE to learn to do is get ALL the facts before accusing, which is the work of Satan.

What was the point of the display of a man ripping off his shirt and climbing a pole and swallowing a sword? I agree it was ungodly and should have been rebuked. But was there a point to it? I feel like we arent getting the whole story.

No, this entertainment was seen by the thousands who were there. This was NOT just a disagreement between 2 people. Josh you were correct about people in the church using Matt. 18 to cover their sin.

I didn't realize he had a whole day before he got up to speak. In that case he should have spoken with that Pastor privately. In any case that Pastor should be apologizing NOT Mark
@@TornCurtainIJoshuaSimoneI agree. The rebuke should have stood. I still don’t think Matt 18 applies. I think there is still an abuse factor here. That Mr Lindell is still being a Pharisee. That Matt 18 only seems to apply to leadership and those in the seats don’t have a voice.
The plague was stayed when Phineas stepped forward in judgment against the debauchery in Israel (Num. 25). I haven't followed Mark Driscoll, but he was being a Phineas in this case, as you are, for reporting and commenting as you have. Would loved to have heard what else Mark was going to say, before the one in charge shut him down. Sounds like he was just getting warmed up.

Some pastors see church as a gathering and a place to collect tithes. Some goers have the same belief as well. Holiness is seen as legalistic because God gets us.
With such an approach, anything goes because it is known we are rhe righteousness of God in Christ and once saved, we are always saved. So be it stripper or porn star performing, we are good with God.

Sin on both (all sides) should have been called out and frankly avoided but now what Mark did was for show, and the LBGT Stripper show was not the big of a deal after all!?!?

We are actually to judge in the church. They did have mega churches in the Bible. Jerusalem church had 100,000 people. The church in Greece were large as well.

JOSHUA, Although I agree that the Church should not seek to entertain people, that sword-swallowing circus act was NOT the same thing as “stripping” - Driscoll’s imagination was running wild - for the acrobat to pull off his shirt, is NOT the same thing as a “stripping” act! Again, I agree that Church should not be all about entertainment, but in this case, Mark Driscoll was being overly paranoid, and it’s not honest to call that “stripping” !
