Thanks! When it heats up soldering paste cleans entire surface from grease and other stuff so the solder could "stick" well. Use it when you can. I recommend it on bigger solder jobs like battery connectors etc. Not on very small ones because it difficult to clean the residue. And that is the thing... you must clean the paste residue because it's corrosive and it will damage solder joint in the future if you don't remove it properly after soldering.

Everything that I use in any video is listed in the video description and in the video itself. In this case, I've used 12 AWG wire and 4.5 mm heat shrink (but you can use 5 or 6 mm if you have that).
Hi,I watched all your videos on building the quad and I liked every single one of them. Now,my question is that can this soldering be done on a ' Q680 V3 Glass Fiber Quadcopter Frame 680mm - Integrated PCB Version ' from HobbyKing because I bought this one and I liked the soldering on the connector. So,can this be done ?Waiting for your reply at the earliest Regards, Zalman Ul Fariz
I like the text labels for the measurements. What software did you use? I'm thinking of doing that on some of my videos. (I initially thought I'd just write on my white table top with a whiteboard marker...)

Excellent series of videos. Can you explain me when to use soldering paste and when not? What's the reason for using soldering paste?
Very professional video :)
What gauge wire & what size heat-shrink did you use?
Ok thank you, very clear response.
Thank you.
I love You!
LOL! Thanks? :-P
