I love your channel and am very impressed with your level of competency! I genuinely learn valuable information here versus just "how some other guy did it". The bonus of this channel is YOU HAVE THE BEST SOUNDTRACK IN DECK CONSTRUCTION CHANNEL-DOM! Dude, your tracks are always on point! Ive never bopped my head watching a crew build a deck! Great all around channel! Thank you for your hard work. Oh, and can i get the name/ artist of todays intro track? 😁

Dr Decks, do you ever use hidden fasteners to install grooved decking over EPDM membrane? If not, why? Would it leak? I just finished installing EPDM bladder on a 500 sq ft deck using your exact method, but now I’m getting cold feet about using hidden fasteners. Should I be concerned about leaking? Thank you in advance!

(@DrDecks: QUESTION: I've not seen an explanation of a seemingly simple thing. How do YOU guys tack in joists when you initially place them? Not seen in any of your videos.)

We use a 15ga finish gun. I’ve shown it several times on Instagram.

What brand of cable rail system was used on this deck?

Think I found the answer to my question. American Structures and Design (AS&D).

@@2Big2RideAnd2Slow In the video he said it was TimberTech. You helped me figure out who made the cable gripping pliers, which is why I was reading the comments. I thought that was A5D on the pliers, but you correctly spotted ASD. I don't why this channel never provides links for that kind of stuff.
