- This video is a short comparison of stock muffler and magnaflow muffler in my 2014 Volvo S60 T5. I decided to do this video because when I was looking for videos like this, I couldn't find any. I hope it will be helpful for any person wondering to buy this exhaust. I was wondering how to make my volvo sound a little bit more agressive without changing whole exhaust system and I found information about this muffler on forum. In my opinion this muffler is awesome. It's not big mod because you only have to change muffler as shown on the video. The rest of exhaust is stock. It only needs welding and as you can see, it's easy to fit because it have the same size of inlet as the stock exhaust pipe. Car has stock ECU and no mods done to engine. The sound is great and of course you hear it when you need because it's almost impossible to hear it while you're driving 30/40mph in the city or 80/90 on highway with constant speed, but while you're accelerating... :) This video won't show you real effect because it's only micrphone but believe me, it's great. Even though I have a 2012 mustang gt as my weekend car, I love hearing a good exhaust, I bought a used s60 t5 last week and am thinking about changing the muffler, full cat backs are too expensive for this cars performance level
If it's an AWD t6 it'll easily outrun a Mustang on a windy road. The S60 is amazing in curves

Do you remember how much louder this is compared to stock? It sounds deeper with the magnaflow but not much louder.
Trust me - it's noticeably louder but in my opinion it's perfect and not annoying

Thx! Don't hesitate. Just do it ;) I've found this muffler in local store and ordered it. It can't change emission rates. Catalytic converter is responsible for it :)

Wow! Swedish cars mafia :D internet says that Hansen Racing is official Magnaflow dealer in Sweden. Ask them, and maybe they will order this exhaust for you. Just give them the number I've put in description ;)

@@cadeosburn5957 Only the muffler and sport brake rotors and callipers as for performance and tinted windows for better look ;)
mroczek47 Nice! I have dark tinted windows on mine but that’s about it. Thinking of putting on a dynamic trim kit with the front bumper guard, rear diffuser, and side plate.
@@cadeosburn5957 Great idea! As for know I don't think about another mods for my S60 because I'm planning to replace it with V60 T6 polestar in near future ;)
It did the reverse affect it made it quieter
mroczek47 actually stated in a different comment that it was noticably louder. It was probably automatic gain compensation in the camera. I think it sounds better anyways! :)

I have your exact car and am probably going to do this to it, just one question, for the mounts did you buy new ones or use the old ones? if new ones where did you get them?
Hi. I’ve asked my mechanic to take out the original muffler and weld everything what is necessary’s from scratch. In that case my original muffler still has its mounts and for the new one (magnaflow) my mechanic welded mounts in order to connect with original mounts underneath the car. So when I want to come back to original I have only to do one slice and weld original muffler I one place and that’s all.

Nie ma się czego bać. Buda i zawieszenie jest takie samo jak europejskie a części silnika i sprzętu można brać z modeli europejskich w których był stosowany ten sam silnik (tj. B5254T12)

I know this is an older video but I was wondering if you deleted the resonator or leave it or did it have one at all?
I've replaced only the end muffler. Everything else has been left stock.

@@mroczek47 u should replace the center resonator with a magniflow 4" round straight through muffler 2.5" inlet and outlet. Will sound even better and have more flow. I have the same transverse magnaflow muffler on the rear of my 2017 volvo s90 t6 momentum awd as well as changed the resonator out with the magnaflow round muffler and sounds way more aggressive in wot. And at causing speed and city driving no drone.

Który masz rok tego 2,5T chodzi mi dokładnie nie o dam silnik bo widzę że 5 cylindrów, jedyny słuszny ale bardziej o skrzynie automatyczna, jak to jeździ i jak to pracuje? 6G czy 8G? Jak się to sprawuje?
Skrzynia 6 biegów zwana (TF-80SC) i inne różne oznaczenia. Ogólnie to chyba produkcja Aisin i określam ja raczej jako przeciętną i działanie na poprawne. Trzeba o nią dbać i olej zmieniam często bo w przeciwnym razie może się poddać szybko. Takie przynajmniej krążą opinie.
@@mroczek47 a powiedz mi masz tam zainstalowana instalacje LPG czy jeździsz na benzynie, jeśli tak jakie spalanie trasa i miasto w tym automacie?
@@johnnyzarizony9276 mam zamontowaną instalacje przez moją firmę. Spalanie to tak na prawdę nie ma limitów jeśli nie chcesz. Jak dam kobicie to na trasie potrafi zejść do 10/11l spalania LPG a znowu ja w mieście bez problemu osiągnę 15l więc wszystko zależy od nogi. Podsumowując to ta skrzynia potrafi w połączeniu z turbo dać niskie spalanie.
@@mroczek47 Zmienileś coś w tym wydechu od tego czasu? Ma popsy? Można z tobą jakoś się skontakować (FB, forum swedishspeed)? Szukam sposobu na lepszy dźwięk :)
@@adriankruk5236 Nic kompletnie więcej nie zmieniałem. Auto już długo u mnie nie będzie, planuje go puszczać dalej w świat a następne auto planuje V8 a tam już niewiele trzeba się będzie starać o dźwięk 😁 w Volvo tylko końcowy zrobiłem i jest w 100% wystarczający 👍🏻 jak na taką limuzynę oczywiście

Raczej zostanie tak jak jest bo niebawem idzie fura na sprzedaż i będzie kolejne ciekawe autko ;)

@@KrisMK świetnie a zarazem nudno bo żadnych awarii ani przygód no ale po takim aucie się tego człowiek spodziewa :) chętnie bym został przy Volvo dłużej bo mega jest fajne ale chcę spełniać kolejne motoryzacyjne pragnienia i marzenia ;)

Did this effect the parking sensor? How did you fix that?
As you can see in the video I didn’t have the parking sensors in the back but I don’t see any reason why muffler change would affect them. It’s almost the same size and shape as the original one so I don’t think it may affect parking sensors.

is this the 2.0 4 cyl t5 or 5 cyl t5?
It is the true full volvo engine with 5 cylinders. This body was available with this engine only in US. For the EU this body was only 4 cylinder T5. My car is imported from US.
Good sound, but in long journey did affect inside the car?!
In my opinion - definitely no! I think that sound of wind and tires while driving about 100mph is still more hearable than exhaust. It's only noisy in some area of rpms. For me it's almost unnoticeable on long trips but it's excellent while driving in the city.

Simple process to remove the muffler???
Yup, u cut your stock muffler and weld magnaflow muffler in the same place because this one I've used and mentioned in video is same size. U only have to weld some mounting points to fit it into stock mounting welded to car. I've shown it in video under the car. If u need photos of it just let me know ;)

mroczek47 have you done anything else to the car? I am about to buy a v60 and am curious to know what small mods are out there for the v60 and s60.
Generally as for know my car don't have lot of mods because I'm not sure how long I will have it. I like changing cars. In my S60 I have sport ate power brake disk, ceramic pads to keep rims clean, Michelin Pilot sport 4 tires because with 250hp and about 400nm U really need good handling, windows tinted and of course this muffler to sound more aggressive. I was plannig to buy some body kit parts from r-design but as for know I decided to keep it stock. It looks pretty good :) If you want to know more, go to forums.swedespeed.com/ and U can read there about everything ;)

@@clickbaitpl moim zdaniem dobra kwota za fajny efekt. Jeśli coś więcej to trzeba wycinać środkowy i robić na zamówienie ale to zależy co kto potrzebuje. Mi wystarcza i pozwala na normalne użytkowanie 😉
@@mroczek47 ja mam końcówki sportowe, ale na zewnątrz mimo wszystko dosyć cicho brzmi nawet na pałowaniu natomiast w srodku bardzo ładnie słychać mruczenie a odejście ma cholerne

Your stupid and your car ruined, it should be fully warm, oil too before revving. Excessive wear can occur otherwise.
