I get insurance through my job but this is good to know I'll be 62 in February so 64 is not that far away, I'm disabled and working a part time job because I had to resign from my other physically demanding job that I loved but the nerve damage and spine damage and other disabled conditions have rendered me useless ,so I needed to work after 5 months and got denied 2x once for ssdi and second for Medicare and ssa said if me and my lawyers want to appeal then send in the proper forms ,so now we're in the reconsideration process and will be up to 11 months before we hear back from them, they are working on my medical conditions, there more then spine damage so,knowing what I can do for insurance and help with is great ,Thank you Sir.

It's a shame that they punish you like say your family died and someone got a little bit of inheritance money and you're all alone on your own and then you're inheritance money is your backup money or emergency fund and they punish you for that like you might need it in a sudden emergency and they make you ineligible for that money you got and if you own a small little house and you're going to need some money for home repairs maybe hire a handyman to fix your house every now and then if you rely on the state program to help you they might want to put a lien on your house kind of like a reverse mortgage does some people might need to buy a used car or have some other small emergency especially if you're a senior living on your own these people need some extra emergency money to maintain their independence I really feel that $174.00 it's too much and I think they should cut that figure in half to make it more affordable
