This looks 100% identical to my Rogue nickel silver plated bell brass resonator that I bought from Musician’s Friend about 10 years ago (when MF was a reputable company)
Is this the same resonator with a different name on the headstock?
This isn’t bashing the guitar. Mine is a well made awesome sounding instrument.

Why no blues fingerpicking? Or slide?

I am so sick of slide being played on these guitars that were made for jazz. People want a 3k National just to play slide once a month.. That gives ME the blues.

@@blindboymusic8262 These in no shape or form were ever made or marketed for jazz, although they weren't made for country blues either (This is just what they're best known for today). They were originally made for Hawaiian-style guitarists to have a louder, more unique sound playing lapstyle slide. So were they made for blues? No. Were they used by (Much less made for) jazz guitarists? Hell no. But they were originally intended for slide, although they work perfectly as "regular" guitars too.

@@bluesmusicandwhatnot2845 Perhaps I left off emphasis. I FIND them best for jazz. Didn't mean to state it as factual. Any guitar can be used for whatever. But these guitars feel made for jazz. Right down to the f-holes.
