It's a shame that this series has become so convoluted in terms of how to play each game. I love the aesthetic of what I see but will never be able to play this series without resorting to piracy or paying hundreds of dollars for old physical copies and systems to play them on.
Yeah, same goes for me. I had the chance to buy Silent Hill 2 for PC for only about 40€ and with the free Enhanced Mod, it's been a unique experience for me, but it's sad to know I'll most likely never be able (without spending a loooot on old physical copies, like you said) to play the other games. Like SH1 or SH3 (which isn't really available for PC for a good price). It's a shame. I wish old masterpiece games like these would be released in a new way (not remake-wise) for everyone to experience - because that's what games are essentially made for! Being played!
