The fact that his anti flying ability doesn’t counter flying is such a blizzard moment
its a dive counter
Honestly it should be a pillar with infinite verticle range where if you fly over it you get pulled down not if you are flying at roadhog height
If they make his ult less busted I’d be down to see that
I’d also be down to see him have some changes to his block, maybe it does less damage mitigation but he gets some temp shield health for blocking

@@Gibbypastrami I thought of a kind of "parry" mechanic where when rammatra first puts up his block he gets a really high dmg reduction but the longer he has it up the lower the dmg reduction gets so stalling with it is not as reliable and there would be a bar that indicates how strong the block will be when you put it back up that recharges over time

One of the most amazing moments i had as a ramattra player was when i used his block in nemisis form against the whole enemy team, holding the payload at 1 meter left, using the shield going through back and forth to avoid damage until my team gets back, then i got my ult, that extra shield it gives you saved my ass heavily, the ult along with my amazing ability wiped their dps and support, my support came back and i took out their tank, leaving me with a big fat W. Using the payload for cover along with my shield in omnic form played a big factor in me being able to hold that payload at the last second. Even just throwing his gravity ability on the point helped a ton, never underestimate the power he has, it allowed me to slow their lucio down enough so my ult could finish him. Truly a beautiful moment
Ana and kirko ult boost the damage of rammatra ult. Not just his punches, the ult itself get a dmg buff from both ults.
So the dream team would be ramattra kiriko and ana
How does Kiriko boost damage? Or you mean increasing the ‘rate of fire’ of the ult?
@@dr.tursko2312 kitsune rush increases speed damage and fire rate so yeah that’s the dream team combo especially with nano boost from Ana rammatra ult can take out a whole team alone…
I had this one time and I got a team kill cause me Ana and kiriko had their ult
ramattra with a healer like ana or baptiste or kiriko can shift a fight in your favor against roadhog especially during your ultimate, so my second tip is always combo your ability with your healer so you can get the most use of your nemesis form

The combo of Ana and Ramattra ult is super powerful, every time it happens, I steamroll through the opposing team.
Love Rammatra, and his ult is like super satisfying especially when you're having a hard time against the enem team.
Yeah his ult isnt a one shot kill like cass, dva, and reaper. but seeing the life bars of those that pissed off go gradually down and you add more damage with the pummel and the void thingy and Oooooo it's so satisfying. 🥴👌

Block up in Nemesis form in sigmas ult, it will reduce damage
you do not know how satisfying it is to block sigmas rock while you look at him smug and amused

Please, do not overestimate the Rammattra on your team, and pump heals into him like a stuffed turkey when he goes ult, because you have no idea how many times I ult and got deleted by the enemy team.

When ulting with your support being absent. it's better to be behind corners, rooms, and areas covering yourself from majority of the enemy teams line of sights similar to how you plant your immortality field.
Not a good idea to sprint straight in the middle of the enemy team while they're still at fool health. Just move forward while still being behind cover.
Ram ult is more useful as a reload of nemesis form. People are getting used to the timing of nemesis and know that if they time it right they can kill him when it ends get people low with nemesis then pop ult and chase people down
thing u missed is the melee can be performed right after a punnel which is a great fininisher and faster then doing another punel
I have decimated 12 Roadhogs and I only been using Ramattra for 2 days. He is very beasty and can handle Roadhog if you just avoid the grapple. That vulnerability from missing is the window I need and I handle him after

I came here for an answer to one question but didnt get it so ill ask in the comments: is ramattra purely for creating space and punishing overreaches? I find that on maps like busan hanger with the many ways to get to the center, if your team is bein pushed back to spawn you can shield one path and nemesis block the other. How viable is that in higher ranked games (im only gold on tank but i want to get better)?

As soon as I unlocked him I played him nonstop and picked up on a little bit of experience and watching this I can see where he’s coming from at a higher skill level but I’m also seeing him miss some stuff that you can pick up on as Ramattra, I tend to not have problems with hog you just have to get him separated and use Headshots to shred through his health like butter and if that baits his healing you can then use your nemesis form after shooting them a bit more with your staff that’s only if the hog has quick reaction times sometimes you’re fast enough to shred through them without them healing.
This was a very informative video, thanks for giving the counters as well. I have to disagree with Brig as a counter to Ram. Idk if they nerffed her a bit, but you can punch your way through any Brig now, especially in ult. Even shield up, get a good enough side angle and she’s mushy as hell. Thanks again for the vid!
Brig is the best support agains rammatra. When she has ult she disables his ult completely. In nemesis form she can whip him away so he is out of effective dmg range. What other support do you think. Idk what brigs you have encountered but it seems more like a skill isue rather than she isnt a good matchup against him.

Just simply reducing the CD of Ram's shield would change everything
The one issue I've had playing with him is a Zen on the other team. If I try to block his discord, even with both healers pocketing me, I just get ran over. If I try to focus him, their whole team just smashes me. I end up trying to use the sheilds to take most of the damage and playing passive, but I can't hold space, as I end up having to take cover a lot. I wonder if there's a better way to approach him.
You should be focusing dps/tank let your dps sort out the healers. If you don’t like solo queue then don’t solo queue, there’s tones of groups that want to play properly
one of my best ult lasted for 3 minutes with the help of support ofc

From what I've seen so far, junker queen mains get too confident or cocky against me when I'm playing ram, so they rush without their support thinking they can win a 1v even when i have a kiriko and ana pouring heals into me, the main times I lose to a junker queen at all is when a mercy is pocketing them, junker queen with damage boost goes crazy against ram even with good support so i tend to stay away from jq mains that have a pocket mercy, i am quite confident I'll win either way but you never know.

hog is so easy to counter just spray him down with headshots and bait his heal then just punch him till he dies
if hes bad, a good Hog will hook you and just kill you. Especially because he can just hook you out of block.
