You never really process it midmatch, but damn, the maps in this game have beautiful environments, from the battlefield to the background, its amazing to look at
My favorite background will always be Blizzard World. Absolutely beautiful.
I can suggest the "Find Items" and "Where is it" custom game modes. (google for them) They really make you appreciate the environments of the maps and all the small details.
the rooms and shops in esparanca are so cool
I like exploring new maps in spectator because I enjoy seeing all the little details and hearing the music and ambience, and when I went through New Junk City, I noticed for the first time the rest of the city off the edge of the map, and I was absolutely blown away by how amazingly huge the omnium was. It’s an incredible set piece, and I think it’s my new favorite map now simply because of that.

Flats should make some react videos to some of Jayne's old stuff to help guide the newborn OW players to the true path of enlightenment.

I ruined my hands playing lucio on xbox for 4000 hours in ow1, and I had long lost interest in Overwatch by the time I swapped to PC. These videos give me nostalgia to the hours of sitting in custom games working on my wallriding mechanics for fun.

I feel like bringing back 2CP maps and turning them into flashpoint maps would work (just gotta expand the maps to be bigger to fit the mode)
They're kinda doing that with hanamura, they're making Hanoaka which is like supposed to be revamped Hanamura and making it a different mode which i forgot lmfao i think you're gonna be able to see hanamura in the distance too, like we're beside it

If you time your jump correctly on oasis you can jump on the car with any hero and use it as a taxi. We trained with my bud for hours cause we had nothing to do. Ana can, Mercy can, widow can.... Any hero can, just the jump need to be perfectly timed.
when the map came out everyone tried to do it, you'd even see in comp people randomly just dying because they wanted a taxi to the point lmao

The Assualt game mode in arcade does come around every now and then, and it’s all 2CP.
We asked for that back in 2018 too, just give then another 5 years and they'll be done with the reworks I'm sure
@@Real_MisterSir Oh, I remember them saying somewhere that it was in there plans to rework a lot of these 2CP maps, so they’re probably working on doing so currently. Gothenburg was going to be a 2CP map in the past, iirc.
@@kommandantkillcode I wouldn't get my hopes up tbh, they've said they were working on a lot of things that ended up just being shelfed indefinitely. My prediction is that they're saving those maps for a potential time with low content (or if they need to push high content to brig back people) and they can use the old 2CP maps as an 'easy' way of bringing content to the game. But yea, I've grown a fair bit of cynicism over the years for this game.

man, as a lucio player who knows how most of these tricks are done but could probably never do myself, these jumps are even more impressive its insane
I actually hope they find a way to make the 2cp maps into something else, they are nice maps, miss a lot of them. Just don't miss the mode itself.
They could be reworked into the escort capture maps like Eichenwalde

Fun fact about the tire bug on Horizon, It is only reliably able to be done when the map is freshly loaded and the tire is perfectly still. So to practice any rollout using it a lot of times people would restart the map just to be able to use the bug.

I found a bug with DVA on Route 66, When you get knocked out of mech you can super jump! You have to be on top of the cart, and I'm not sure exactly but if you time jumping just right you can jump an additional 30meters in the air.

I don’t get it when I was at kingsrow last night I couldn’t go under the floor to pop up behind enemy anymore
I made a little skit like that at the beginning of one of my montages! It was nowhere near this quality but it took me like 2 weeks to make. It really only takes one person to make this, recording the skit, going to the replay, setting up a camera angle, but it is very time consuming and I used more people. Eskay and plasmanapkin did a beautiful job on her video!

I wish they would have done something cooler with horizon lunar colony, the concept of the space area is super cool but using it was straight up trolling in every situation. I wonder what would have happened if it was a more open area between points with a bunch of cover

Nothing beats flying up and shooting the earth on Horizon as pharah and pretending youre starting multiple wars

If I had to deal with this in my games I wouldn't straight-up quit and just not fight Lucio and also if this Lucio was on my team I would feel bad for Farrah because she has to deal with getting booped now

I really miss 2CP, and I want them to bring it back, but just for the Arcade. I don't think it should be in Comp, because it always ended up either being one of the longest matches possible, or just a steamroll/hard defense by one team. The matches going for upwards of 45 minutes was always ridiculous.

The main reason 2cp was hated so much was because of the overtime respawn timer mechanic. In ow1 you could get up to 32 sec respawn timer. THATS CRAZY, however. In ow2, there is 1 less person, so RIGHT OFF THE BAT 2cp is slightly better. The respawn timer was based on the number of enemies on the point in overtime. Each one increased your timer by 2 seconds if memory serves. Now, if blizz adjusted it just a TAD, it would be just fine. Thats not copium, thats facts.

I’m a Lucio player and I’m sorry I love you flats but there is so much in this video you didn’t appreciate or paused mid way through to talk to chat or something else.
I would love to see some Lucio pros react to this. Like FD god or frogger would have some hilarious reactions, in a yt short, eskay talks about that first hanamura 180 onto the roof saying it took a combined 22 hours for them to get that clip.
(I know you don’t play Lucio so it’s difficult to understand the skill, I feel like I’m talking down to you but I love your content)
