I give all US servicemen the utmost respect and support regardless of branch of service, but I still have to say it: Being so used to watching Marine Corps combat footage, it's always a bit shocking when I see Army combat footage. The difference in tactics, professionalism, humility, calmness and cool under fire, aggression, coordination, etc is like night and day. I apologize if any Army veterans feels disrespected by that comment. Thank you for your service and you have my respect and admiration of course. I was just pointing out something that has seemed glaringly obvious after years of watching combat footage from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Casualty means both wounded and KIA, wounded because they can no longer perform their job to the best of their ability. Once the injured is taken away, they are down a man. Hence the word casualty.
The soldier with the camera has balls.. They all do... These guys are living LEGENDS. Total respect to each and every one of these WARRIORS 😎👏👏👏👏👏😎💯👏🙏🙏🙏
Try running that distance in full combat load in 100 plus degree weather after being on patrol for possibly hours, with your blood and adrenaline pumping. Ballsy move and not going back immediately was smart bc he relayed the message and shouldn’t unnecessarily exspose himself more than he had to, the situation was under control bc his buddy’s were administering care under fire while waiting for medevac. All you keyboard warriors couldn’t hope to ever perform as well as this unit did in the situation.
My Dad did almost 13 most from 1966 to 1967 in Saigon. He was a lance corporal in the United states marine Corp. I was so blessed he made it home or I wouldn't be here. As a kid we couldn't play with toy guns and he had plenty of post war stress but managed to hold down an automotive engineering job and raise a family. Oh btw he volunteered when most of this country were dodging the draft. You rarely hear about this war because we lost. R.I.P Willie James McClain.
There wasn't anyone that could give him a quick pat on the back well done for running back? That was all he needed to leave the adrenaline but nobody did shit for the poor bloke
When comms are down everyone tells everyone everything an repeats it to everyone else, what's so hard about that I didn't see any back patting, I see communication soldiers doing their jobs an doin what ever job needed to be done
He ran back to get the truck for the casualty, most likely because it was a CCP. He didn't just run back to get the mounted guns to support them he ran back to get the truck to get his buddy out of there.
thing is, y'all gotta remember it only takes one to kill him (if well on target) (edit: and by that I mean it's unreal how he put his life on the line for his guys, true man)
Typical Army; Soldier gets waived over and starts running up to superior, " Get the trucks up, Moore's hit.!" Soldier stands there like an idiot, then starts casually walking back to the truck. As an ex Navy Corpsman, that made my gut twist
When a member of his team is wounded, running back under enemy fire to ensure his men are treated with the correct care is nothing short of heroism.

Thank you for your service, and sacrifice sir.
@@z.s.n. my pleasure, but im not that much of a hero. i didn't sacrifice much. i went to Vietnam in 1994 and opened a sweatshop and i lost a lot of my workers to malaria and heat exhaustion.

Moore was hit, coms out, I ran all the way back.
-What! Let's go get him!
Whoa, whoa, whoa, I just ran all the way back dude, give me a break and let me catch my breath.
With full kit as rcp. 300 pt 100%.
@Shams excuse me?
You never ran with a ruck and under fire
You speak from call of duty experience. Real life isn't like video games buddy, so try again
10:44 he runs to his mate who got shot
Bless
He didn’t run TO HIS MATE he ran away from his mate to try and get help
Lol, 😂 its funny how a bunch of mommy boys are saying what the soldiers should be doing while on their soft couch with a cool beer in their hand.
Yup. They're too stupid to realize that these men and women are the reason they have a couch and a beer.
No they’re not. This isn’t WW2, they don’t fight for my freedom. More power to these guys signing up and deliberately putting themselves in harms way, but if an enemy ever did invade the US, then I’d hop out like the taliban with an AK and sweatpants and flip flops ready to fight for myself and my loved ones. I could give a damn about the rest of y’all
educate us. You are doing the exact same thing as you said others where doing. Also there is no war in the last 100 years at least the the us fought for their freedom (ww2 wasnt really about the freedom of the us)
@@210mayne210 true. There isn’t a fight for freedom here all of this war is just money
I swear at times it sounds like he is carrying around a bass drum
😂
that’s his balls hitting his fucking ankles
Leather sack full of brass
Unfortunately his GoPro mount is loose or something so his camera keeps tapping his helmet or something causing the noise
Thank you all for the willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice so we have the opportunity to become anything we choose to put our minds to...I salute every member of our armed forces and their families...I don't know what it feels like to have your boots on the ground as a soldier, but I know what it is like to be 9yrs old and say goodbye to both my Mother and Father who were both deployed out of McGuire AFB as the beginning of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield...thankfully they both returned safe after a full year overseas...much love and respect to Moore and all of you that were there on this day...🇺🇸
This is hard to watch. Thank you vets I respect the hell outta you guys.
This firefight sounded really really intense I can only imagine what is going through these soldiers mind when you hear the cracks of AK-47s and rocket launchers going over your head. In Jesus Christ's name I pray that every Soldier man and woman come home safe and sound I also ask Jesus Christ to watch over them when they go and get deployed amen
Thought that was a good comment until you bought religion into it....Jesus!!😄🙄

Spot on mate ,,Australia
@David R. Walsh settle down sparky
David R. Walsh you’re probably a socialist
Hey david r Walsh we need you to stand down range and hold a target for live fire practice!
@David R. Walsh welcome to the harsh reality all of us live in. If they don't kill them now, more will die over time. It's not a pretty reality but it's the one we live in. You can call it whatever the hell you want but it's keeping you and your family safe.
I give all US servicemen the utmost respect and support regardless of branch of service, but I still have to say it:
Being so used to watching Marine Corps combat footage, it's always a bit shocking when I see Army combat footage.
Never served in any branch of the military, but I was thinking the same thing.
Also, it depends on the unit. Check some 101st battles, you might see the transition from green to hardened as you go up in year
I mean some 101st from 10' to 14'. You might see our transition
The aggression and C&C are definitely better in a typical Marine grunt unit.
"i was shot at while running in Afghanistan" "why were you running" "Cuz i had to run" "in Afghanistan?" "yeah it was in Afghanistan"
Not Iran?
No Afghanistan
In iraq?

major respect to the crazy bastard that made that run.
I heard say “causality” several times.
@@astralpurpose1344 In this case he means wounded.
Ray Page yeah I realized this afterwards! Thanks!
Casualty means both wounded and KIA, wounded because they can no longer perform their job to the best of their ability. Once the injured is taken away, they are down a man. Hence the word casualty.
Damn that was intense! Well done sir! When it hits the fan, these guys have your back! I salute all the men and women who served!
Nothing but respect. Thank you. No other words.
@20:45 This had me dying. "A little short..." lol

A big salute to all,,god bless
Try running that distance in full combat load in 100 plus degree weather after being on patrol for possibly hours, with your blood and adrenaline pumping. Ballsy move and not going back immediately was smart bc he relayed the message and shouldn’t unnecessarily exspose himself more than he had to, the situation was under control bc his buddy’s were administering care under fire while waiting for medevac. All you keyboard warriors couldn’t hope to ever perform as well as this unit did in the situation.
Sooo by seeing a video clip you can automatically tell what temperature it is wow boy 😮 you RUclips people are incredible weathermen

Look when gunfire’s ringing over and you have a casualty its either move that big bitch out of my way or i will move it for you
Dang the Lord was with you! Awesome job soldier
Coach Q I have one thing to say. Brother we did not lose! Our gov fuck our troops. We should have one!
11:04 when it's 3 am and u go piss

dude i would do the same cuh that some balls dropping shit plus he gotta give the most info as possible
He ran back to get the truck for the casualty, most likely because it was a CCP. He didn't just run back to get the mounted guns to support them he ran back to get the truck to get his buddy out of there.
why'd you just lay there after? lay some rounds down range. instead of bragging about ur amazing run. lol@kawika dav
kawika dav yeah I think we figured that much buddy. is jogging all you do?
I think I saw an "S" on his chest..
thing is, y'all gotta remember it only takes one to kill him (if well on target)
(edit: and by that I mean it's unreal how he put his life on the line for his guys, true man)
The guys in the truck were smoking a spliff or smthn..
Did you make it out of Afghanistan soldier? Are you still with us ?
the was he's movin has me nervous. thank you for your service
Typical Army; Soldier gets waived over and starts running up to superior, " Get the trucks up, Moore's hit.!" Soldier stands there like an idiot, then starts casually walking back to the truck. As an ex Navy Corpsman, that made my gut twist
