- DIY Console Table Build! And it was so simple too!
I cut down 1x10 poplar boards - two legs at 34” and the top at 48”. I assembled them with wood glue and finish nails, then added a shelf 7” from the top. I glued and nailed that in as well.
I trimmed it all out with 1x3 poplar (with mitered corners) so it looked a little nicer and sturdier.
Then I mixed sawdust with wood glue to form a wood filler to fill all the nail holes and seams before sanding it all down.
I taped and painted the legs white and I think that was the perfect finishing touch!

Would even be better if u cut the back to sit flush with wall design and skirting
