Great stuff, Steve. You may have had some flat light but you still got some great images. Shows that it always pays to get out regardless of the conditions.
Sorry to see you struggling, with back pain and the recent dull as dishwater light no wonder you're a bit down. I think you have pulled out a couple of great images on this trip, the green moss seems to glow in that light, keep the faith and your mojo will return.
That first image that you worked on looked good! It's about time you took that sample in to the doctors that's in your top pocket, that will be a weight off your shoulder, you should feel a bit better then! And yes that light looked like it does here for the past couple of weeks....thanks for sharing your morning with us...
It’s lovely around that area even in flat light and the images still came out nicely Steve. I was in that location last week in really nice light but with very little Autumn colour left! Can’t win sometimes 😂
Hi Steve we've had loads of dull overcast days lately (apart from Mon-Fri last week when a lot of places had fog!! Unfortunately I was working) That last image worked but wondered if you had your drone with you? As you said you only needed to get a few feet higher. I regularly just think of the drone for those aerial images at great height
Steve don't be downhearted about the images mate i thought they were cracking and with so little light you did really well and I hope you had a large coffee worth your breakfast.
Timelapse photography to compensate for exposure time, nice video my friend. 11:18.

Oooh very flat day! Did well there Steve, particularly with the distraction of a bad back! 08:20 came out really nice👍
@@RoamingPhotography cheers mate
Considering the conditions, you did well mate. The light was incredibly flat and very difficult to get anything.
@@Colinpowellphotography thanks mate
Hope you found a good breakfast and a cup of sweet tea for Martin. Its the sort of thing you need if you've lost a lost of blood 🙂
