    The ATLAS BLOWER lasted amount 20 minutes on their 80 v battery. No problem I knew this before I purchased it. My atlas string trimmer lasted thru the trimming and edging my 1/2 acre lot. The pole saw trimmed my daughters yard and was still had charge left after an hour of trimming the neglected trimming.

    I just bought one yesterday. I tried it out this morning on some tall Johnson Grass. I ran it about 40 minutes. I am very impressed and only bumped the string once. I am 55 years old and this old gal is not very strong like I was in my younger years. I read that it was heavy and not very balanced. I disagree. Very well balanced for me but I am 5'7". I think it does just as well as the more expensive gas weed eaters IMO. Only took an hour and half to charge battery. 5 stars! ☆☆☆☆☆

      I have an update. I bought the 80v Atlas Trimmer...its PERFECT for me! Whoo hooo...no more gas and mix!!!!! I love it so far!

      Yes, it’s a great trimmer, lightweight, plenty of power, quiet, no pull starting, good battery life, and no worries of the carb gumming up when not in use, I was surprised at how much I use the battery trimmers around the farm instead of gas, and surprised at how much I can get done on one charge. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks so much for this video - very helpful. I just bought this myself from Harbor Freight. Does this trimmer allow you to reload the thread by tapping on the bottom of the spool (like some trimmers do)? I can't seem to figure that one out. I've been manually pulling the string out by hand whenever it wears out. I couldn't find anything regarding this on the owner's manual either. Thanks in advance!

    • @WilliamsonRidge

      The trimmer does have the bump feed head, you just pull the trigger and while the head is spinning bump the ground, if it’s not feeding the line it may be tangled up inside the trimmer head, in which case you would need to take off the head, “has two buttons on the sides to release” and respool the line trying not to cross it back and forth.

    Which battery do you have the 80v
    4AH or the 2.5AH?

  • @paulconley6577
    @paulconley6577 Год назад +1

    Mower battery goes 45-60minutes, depending on thickness of grass; front yard. Same for backyard, after charging. Trimmer, can mostly do front and back, one charge. Do you know how many times battery can be charged before it's dead, or can't be charged again ? Limitless. ? Thanks. Made me nervous , standing in road with cars buzzing by, 😮

    • @WilliamsonRidge
      @WilliamsonRidge  Год назад +1

      Most lithium batteries can be charged and discharged 300 to 500 times

    • @paulconley6577
      @paulconley6577 Год назад +1

      Thanks, so battery, 40v may last two years or longer. Harbor Frght had 40v on sale. , $69.99. Need another.

    • @WilliamsonRidge
      @WilliamsonRidge  Год назад

      Yeah and depending on use if you had one battery per tool and used them once a week to mow trim etc, in my area u mow about 7 months out of the year once per week would be roughly 35 times per year so 300 charge cycles divided by 35 weeks would be roughly 8 or 9 years

      They are Booth pretty good but I like the Echo better, it feels almost just like a gas trimmer and the balance is better than the Harbor Freight

    Great video, but I am been wondering can you add the brush cutting attachments like the saw blades and attachments like edger?

    • @WilliamsonRidge
      @WilliamsonRidge  2 года назад

      Not that I am aware of, you might be able to find something that would fit and be able to make it work but it’s not made for it.
