got the 40V and it's good enough for me but harbor freight said they might be discontinuing it. I got it for $64 because it was an open box but brand new. At first it worked great, then started to bog down until I realized that I had hit a cement block with the chain a few times and it just dulled it. I got my atlas 10 inch pole saw out and it worked great because it wasn't dull. I love these tools because I can use the same battery for both saws and a hedger and a weed eater, no more pulling on ropes and trying to get the damn thing started with all the smell and I love it that they are not super loud
@@fredgarv79 awesome! Thanks for watching and your comment! I agree they are a very good saw to have around a house or small acreage property, very useful. The gas and oil starting issues can’t be solved any easier than this either! Best of luck with yours! Appreciate you! Have a great day and be safe!
good video and job we had a 80 volt lowes it was fair it had a reset button that was always kicking off. it died but lowes took it back and refunded money nobody repairs them. i have a stihl onetwenty c that is only good to trim brushes. the little 20 volt hft are better than the stihl battery one. when you can find good gas i use the gas saws mostly. the atlas did really well maybe better than most. take care, be safe and well. with the french gear boxes your brush hog may last a long time.
@@johnwoody4905 thank you for watching and your comment. I was really impressed with the Atlas and it is still working really good. I use a gas saw a lot more but for the convenience for unexpected or smaller jobs the Atlas really shines! Thanks again, have a great day and be safe!
@@michaelpressley710 just like any other chainsaw, be careful. We exercise the battery by using it on a trimmer as well. Keep the battery charged as letting them sit drained seems to kill them pretty quickly. Other than that just enjoy not mixing and dealing with gas for a chainsaw. Have a great day and be safe.
@@michaelpressley710 absolutely! They are the perfect tool when it doesn’t require a big saw but can’t get done with a lopper. Good luck this fall! Have a great day, be safe!
@@LoudMercury thanks for watching and your comment. I haven’t changed bars but it looks like a few different ones on Amazon are supposed to fit. Good luck, have a great day and be safe!

Nice saw I have 3 chain saws Stihl getting where they are hard for me to start at my age,
Thanks for watching and your comment. Not having to pull start this is probably it’s best advantage over any gas saw. Have a great day snd be safe!

@@CopperBarnHomestead I got it for trimming shooting lanes so I don't have to carry gas in the woods man those saws will put it work too

Can you buy new bars? Or can you use any ol bar up to 18" ?

There is a whole video on using a different bar on it because he said his was falling off. Never have had that problem though
@@fredgarv79 excellent! Thanks for sharing! Have a great day and be safe!
Chainsaws don't have blades. It's a bar.
@@clintbliss2046 thanks for watching and your comment. Appreciate the clarification
