This circus trial is an utter embarrassment. You have lawyers using the word " cap" in their arguments, drugs being smuggled into the courtrooms, and outrageous outbursts that should never happen.

They are trying to taint this case, yes it is away but they are going to have to keep a tight rope on this case so Mr. Williams doesn’t have to start over. This whole trial is a sideshow. I have seen unprofessionalism on all fronts, compromised jurors, passing off ILLEGAL substances and the list goes on. My thing is, how is all of this able to carry on without some type of rectification???

While I think transparency is inherently good and televising trials is inherently good, there seems to be an increasing trend (maybe inevitable) of turning trials into "reality TV". I doubt that is inherently good.
In the UK, cameras were only allowed into the courtroom in 2022. Coverage is restricted to the judge handing down a sentence and explaining the reasons for it. I think the YSL trial was always going to be a circus though.
Trials like these are what a Judge wishes for his entire career. So there’s no wonder he’s making lawyers write him essays or buy his lunch or grandstand… its what he wants to do and he gets away with it
Mistrial is what they should have. First off they shouldn’t all be in the same case. Are they all going to have one jury decide or will all defendants have their own jury? This is a mess. Free Jeffrey Williams! At least he looks healthy.
