    Sounds great. I actually added some cheap (40 USD) lowers to the forctubes and they makes an incredible difference to turbulence around the head/upp er torso and leggs.

    Thanks for the review. I've been thinking about getting some.

    What I did with my HD limited I perched the tallest windshield . My wife will not travel with me without it. You get used to looking through the windshield on big deal. Ride safe

      Right on, glad you got something that works for you and your wife! I'm pretty sure its the wind that comes up the side of the bike and behind my back that was causing the buffeting. I've got a substantially tall windshield already that does a good job breaking up the wind from the front.

    I feel like those would cause more drag as well, it's cool the wind noise came down though!

      I would imagine so! I haven't noticed any meaningful negative changes, but I'll keep an eye out once I can put it through different environments and see how it holds up over time.

    Gotta ask, how is the Ruroc helmet heard it has a pinch point on the temples… I currently wear a Shoei GT Air which is perfect for me, had used a Schuberth before but it did have a hotspot on the forehead. So what is your thought on the Ruroc…

    • @Valorcycle

      For me it's a good fit, and I can wear it for 8+ hours and not get any pressure points. I do have some other problems with it that I put into my review.

    These need to be detachable. I'm guessing that would involve having a threaded insert installed on the fairing 🇦🇺

    I liked the looks - not sure I noticed s difference but found out left side blew off sometime during my 300 mile ride yesterday.☹

      I enquired with Clockworks about purchasing one and they said no but if I would talk to them and provide them some info on how they were installed etc - they would send me a new set and they did. I would have to say - this is the most awesome company I have dealt with when it comes to customer service!

      A better means of attachment would be bolt on, that way in the hotter months you can run without them 🇦🇺

    I put them on my challenger, felt no difference, if anything was worse. Then I took one off and left one on, the side without had less buffeting! So I took the other of. I’m glad they are working for you.

    • @Valorcycle
      @Valorcycle  Год назад +1

      Wow! I'm sorry to hear that they didn't work out for you. That's good to keep in mind for anyone else that is considering getting these. I'm guessing they work for me due to my seating position from the Corbin seat and my size. I'm curious if these would work best for those that sit farther back or are bigger as they don't quite fit into the air pocket created from the front fairing.

    • @MattB13
      @MattB13 Год назад +2

      @@Valorcycle yea it must have to do with seat/position and helmet type/shape.
      I have the factory seat still and I’m 6’2”. I’m going to hold on to them and test them out when I decide on a new seat. I do have the 11” Klock Werks flare screen and it changed my life. Love it!

      @@MattB13 i'm sure the Ruroc helmet being so big also isn't helping with catching the wind. What seat are you thinking of getting?

    • @MattB13
      @MattB13 Год назад +1

      @@Valorcycle Ive been looking at the corbin step up. Not sure the exact model, I am hesitant to purchase a seat again without sitting on it first. I actually have no issue with the stock seat, I recently rode 960 miles in 24hrs and my biscuits were fine!

    If that windshield has a curve at the top then there's your buffeting problem. Those curved windshields create turbulence above your helmet that feels like someone is slapping your head from behind you. Been there, done that... My stock Challenger windshield is terrific... I hate helmet slapping...

    • @Hipporider
      @Hipporider 11 месяцев назад

      Everyone says the Pursuit stock screen is too tall compared to the stock Challenger screen, but for me at 6'2", I get no helmet buffeting and very little to no wind noise with that screen fully up 🇦🇺
