    The speed at which the chinese car makers are progressing is astonishing!

      They've pumped over $1,200,000,000 US in subsidies into their ev industry each and every month on average for 15+straight years now! 😅
      Oh yeah and China cares NOTHING NOTHING about anyone's ip nor patent rights! Plus they suckered in us westerners to teach them how to make modern cars. Under truly onerous terms on joint ventures and have so shamelessly copied tesla. Then they kept the racist xenophobic import tariffs on our vehicle's of 25-40% all while planning to steal our patents&knowledge then kick the legacy oems out.
      The newest ev only Chinese plants when viewed right next to the TESLA Shanghai plant cannot even be told apart(this is Chinese reporters claiming the blatant similarities and outright plagarisim btw.
      That tesla plant opened up in late 2019. China is just now closest to reaching teslas level. The average car automotive program is 60+months from the first prototype shown to the first customer delivery. Ah yes I see now clearly NOW just how China has come so far so fast. 👍🏻😀
      Wait until those import tariffs smack them down a few notches by next spring&summer. No reasons for the Chinese to export evs when the local nev market is only at 44% ytd penetration. Which means over half the market is left to conquest. So why export evs already? And why are they now attempting to block their ev players from establishing factories outside of China eh? 🤔

      Fortunately they got to leap frog ICE complexity, so they never had to go through the growing pains the Koreans did on engines, transmissions, and most of the complexity in terms of physical engineering... rather it's mostly software these days.

    Nice, but not for me! But now I regret buying the 4-wheel powered 001… you’re right - 99% of people don’t need that power. I have my car constantly set to economy mode because comfort and sports modes just have too much power.
    If I just got the real-wheel version I’d get another 100km or so in range.
    Ahh well!

    instant sub for calling it "the boot" and not the trunk ;) having moved out to Asia, EVs are the way to go if you want a car. Prices are so much cheaper here.

    Me owning this vehicle is becoming a serious reality. So impressive. I think.its my favourite of all ev's at present.

    I find the 7X more appealing than the ONVO L60, being that it does something different instead of chasing the Model Y. It’s a proper SUV instead of yet another crossover. I’d buy it if it were on sale in the US!

    Excellent Review. I have looked at the car in Dongguan. Questions? What is the noise level in dB in the car, front seat, back seat? The audio system, Blue Tool or Jack Headphones in or ports? so as not distract the driver. Can I get 4 full sets of Golf Clubs the boot? What are the self-driving capabilities? It has Lidar, I believe the X does not have Lidar. Enjoyed your Video. My understanding is the ZEEKR is the high lever of car for Geely. I was leaning to buy the ZEEKR X, but the one I was in did not have Lidar. Maybe they will add it to the line.

    I agree that this specification is good, I like it. I do not need doors to open from outside, do not need rear electric seat with screen option. But I really like to have on top of of is included in this entry package 100 Kwh battery pack and all wheel drive together with trailer hook (preferably electrically driven) and pneumatic suspension-for me it would be best match! Design - I do believe it is one of the best car in this class, really like this design!
    P.S. Colour...matter of taste, I would still go for white or grey metallic.

    For next review maybe include what is the noise level in dB in the car, quality of the audio system, build quality

    A really nice car that I would seriously consider if Zeekr fixes a serious flaw, that most Chinese car manufacturers make when introducing a car in Europe. No 40/20/40 backseat or at least a load through hatch for our ski or fishing rods. I would never buy a car without it. Nio with it's ET5 Touring and EL6 know what Europeans want, but most Chinese manufacturers don't, and that even goes for Zeekr. They say its designed in Sweden, but not many Swedes want such a car without room for their skies, so it is definitely designed for China, not Europe.

    Reminds me of cash to checks to credit card. China skipped credit cards and went straight to QR code payment. Same for EV, no need to learn and have the baggage of ICE. They can re-imagine an EV car from the ground up.

      @@eden5260 you are right. Btw I’m not saying it’s better or worse; focus was on clean slate with no baggage. Pros for QR code - dirt cheap from a merchant hardware perspective.

    Why is no one testing GAC Aion Hyper HT? It's an electric SUV on the same class and price as 7X. It has bigger dimension, longer range, and same 0-100. Which is better?

      @@就是为了好玩 Apple and Microsoft are examples of private owned companies who are in a death spiral. An other great example is Boeing. In all honesty 95% of the US private companies have prioritized share value over product quality and product value for money. And when we look back at the recent history, then you can safely say that 99,9% of all private companies fail in their first 25 years of existence.
      That is because private owned companies can never be as efficient as state owned companies. Everything a private own company does can be done by a state owned company, but all large (publicly traded) private companies have a major disadvantage over state owned companies: they are obligated to focus on the quarterly results and the stock holder dividend before anything else. So also product quality and value for money come far behind that metric.

      @@zhauu 300k pre-orders is not confirmed and it's a refundable 1k CNY deposit, not the real un-refundable deposit.

      Zeekr 7X is more appealing IMO. NIO chased Tesla and copied Model 3/Y too much, and it could be detrimental to L60 long term. Zeekr made a fully electric SUV that’s not yet another crossover, unlike NIO with ONVO. And Zeekr was confident in sharing its pre-order numbers. NIO has not shared ONVO’s.

      By far the L60. Watching the video, 7X interior is really bad, which makes the UX not good at all.

    This EV can’t have battery swap! So buy NOVO which are a far better EV with better technology and able to have battery swap!
