I'm so bored of hearing that Zeekr is coming to the UK - stop edging us and just launch here already! I've been reading in our British car magazines that Zeekr is coming for years.
The car also stays afloat for up to 30 mins in the water of course if all doors and windows are closed. So the passengers have some time to evacuate from the car. I live in Australia and Zeekr has already presented their first car here which is X model and 7X is coming next year. Lucky australians have more options to choose from such Chinese brands as BYD, GWM, Zeekr and Cherry.. BTW, Tesla has already reduced prices in Australia, it is going to be more competitive market for Tesla what is really good for us customers.
I was speaking to Zeekr folks in Sydney today at the launch of the 009 and X. They said that the 7X should be available in Australia late 2nd quarter next year or early 3rd quarter. Looking forward to taking one for a test drive as I'm keen to buy one
I like the Zeekr 7X, it looks really nice and it’s quite large inside. I don’t understand why Polestar, a performance company didn’t put a higher output motor on the Polestar 4 RWD, if as mentioned, they share the same platform. Also, Polestar did not give the 4 any air suspension or heads up display but, they want to charge a lot of money for their version. I like the 001 but wouldn’t mind driving this, as the rear seats seem more comfortable for passengers than Polestar 4 or 001. If this is exported to the same countries Polestar sells, with a lower price, Polestar is going to have to discount their vehicles to sell them. This seems fairly sporty for China, I’m sure they would change the suspension tune for Europe and other Asian markets, too bad Americans are being prevented from getting this, with the tariffs. If Zeekr keeps this up and make their vehicles drive and handle like the big German brands, they would take some of their sales.

compare to 007, the new design language seems to fit better with suv line up more than a sedan, I really like this , too bad it will probably be a victim of xiaomi suv
Genuine consumer advice request...if you were in China looking for a medium sized, hybrid electric SUV to fit 4 people, 1 baby and 2 dogs....which would you buy? And ideally on a budget of sub 200,000 RMB
Zeekr already delivered 10,000 units of the 7X to customers during its first month on sale, so there are already some on the road, which means Wheelsboy can rent one for their test.
Not unlike the Zeekr 007, the quality of the 7X both indicates and (ominously) risks of being overshadowed by, the upcoming SUV from Xiaomi. Zeekr seems to have been locked in this duel with the later.
I do like watching videos for 2 reasons. Yes CN cars are awesome and second I think voice and charisma is great here. Will watch somewhat longer videos of just riding like range test video. Top gear special in a way ))) great job. On a sidenote damn Sealion 7 looks good but I am still waiting for Xiaomi SUV. Zeekr for some reason not appealing same as Li. Although we have so many now here in Kazakhstan
I'd be disappointed if I hired a luxury vehicle and found the owner had covered all the luxury surfaces with an ugly bad fitting covering. It would be like getting a hotel room and finding all the furniture covered with clear plastic wrap.
I see you more and more testing Chinese cars, and becoming more and more picky and spoiled like a regular Chinese customer, which is a good thing tho, it really shows such values in China-made vehicles in this highly competitive market, with similar price, not long ago in China you could only expecting an overpriced lame Camry, now you get kinds like this one.
I bet that LED light bar wont be an option for Australia because Australias government are 90 year old grandpas that are scared of anything electrical.
At least there are plenty of electric sedans, hatchbacks, MPVs, and even coupes/wagons/pickups available for sale in China. Can't say that about any other markets in the world.
Looks like every EV from China. They all have near identical designs which already follow the status quo. At least byd mixed it up with their interior on the atto I guess.
Yes, the interior is becoming a bit generic now, with two massive screens, I like the modest screens in new BMWs, big enough without looking like a TV screen.
Yet another extremely generic looking Chinese EV that in terms of design and brand identity offers zero differentiation from NIO, XPeng and other Chinese premium car makers. These cars sell well enough in China but we all know that in order to achieve longterm profitability they need to succeed in Europe and the US as well. We can all witness right now how hard NIO is flopping in Europe. What exactly is Zeekr doing differently to them?
@@Lucas-wp2ph Mercedes who is already struggling with their EQ models sold three times as many EVs as NIO in Norway year to date (1.958 vs 691). I wouldn't call that "almost outselling". For reference BMW sold 4.269 units in that timeframe and this is by far NIO's strongest market in Europe.
@@MadDaCube@MadDaCube You are comparing brands that has been on the market for close to 100 years or more to a new luxury brand that has been there for two years. Look at the sales data for this month. Not much between mercedes and Nio. And Mercedes har their really shitty and cheap eqa and eqb. Nio is outselling the eqs and eqs suvwith their et7 and es8😊
Actually, the fact that we have the money necessary to rent cars instead of waiting weeks to get them from the manufacturer (or be forced to film a whole video in only 6 hours at a press launch) should tell you that we're doing great!

A luxury ev at an affordable price❤
It is luxury price thanks to Biden
