Hiya Jamie. Just for the record when people dye their dogs tails it's usually to stop them from getting stolen, especially service dogs! It's easier to find a Siberian Husky with a rainbow tail rather than just a Siberian Husky. Hope this helped!

Ever since I came out to my grandma she gives me really weird pride items for my birthday to show her support. I've got a rainbow toaster, a rainbow clock, a rainbow table cloth, a rainbow bible (wtf?), a rainbow soap dispenser and a rainbow toilet roll holder... 😅 kinda cute though 😅

I finally did it! I never thought the day would come. I came out to my doctors as trans (ftm) and shortly after that I came out to my family too. They all took it super well and are very accepting and supportive. One of the doctors is very close to my and my family and told me he‘ll there for me every step of the way. I‘m very excited but most importantly very relieved. For months I was terrified. Not knowing if I’ll ever tell my family about it. But now I did it! I do have one question tho. Its been a few days since I told my family. But they, especially my grandparents, are still using the wrong pronouns and my deadname. They havent used the right pronouns once. Their reasoning was „you’re not a man yet“ And to be honest, I‘m a bit disappointed by that after the great coming out. Its very uncomfortable for me. I dont know if I should talk to them again or give them some time to come to terms with it (and if yes, how much).
Definitely talk to them about it if it's hurting you!!! They need to learn to recognize you as a man, and it'll be easier for them once you start your transition if they start referring to you with your correct pronouns and name now!!!
You don't need to transition to be trans. They're not fully accepting if they don't start accepting you NOW. You ARE a man now, is whether they're willing to see that you've always been a man or not. If they put criteria for accepting you here, what's to say they won't add more later? this isn't unconditional love. Tell them you've always been a man. If they can't see it then you'll find new family that can. The LGBT+ community supports and accepts you!! 🏳️🌈✊💖✨

My name is ___ And if you can't accept that, you are uneducated and oldschool. If you want to learn I can help you understand, but it takes two to make it work. I am willing to teach if, and ONLY IF you are willing to listen. I understand mistakes are going to happen, but the least you can do is try." It might seem harsh, but I was even harder on my family (and I haven't even told them my name or pronouns, just sexuality and the gender identity of friends). The point is, mistakes are cool if they correct themselves and are willing to listen. If not, they are assholes. It's a hard truth, the fact that my grandparents might not wanna go to my wedding unless I marry someone "with a real gender" (male or female) but honestly, if that's how they feel, I am not sure I even want them to be invited. I guess you have to weigh here. But firstly, try to educate. If that doesn't work, then you will have to decide whether family or your identity is more important to you. We should not have to do that, and it's bullshit that we do, but we shouldn't have to face homophobic/transphobic bullshit from people who are supposed to love us unconditionally. Sorry for the novel, it wasn't supposed to be this long, I got carried away. I hope I make sense anf didn't make it worse, if you want me to clarify, I will. I think it's common for family to accidentally deadname or misgender, in that case it's just something that will take them time to get used to using the correct language. But for them to not even try, and to come up with some BS excuse is not right and you don't need to accept their excuse - You're a man NOW though be nothing will change that, and they should be respecting your wishes NOW. I did read about a trans person whose family had been deadnaming and misgendering them for years. A friend visited with them and every time the family deadnamed or misgendered them the friend blasted an airhorn at the offending family member 😂 apparently it only took one day for the problem to stop. So if you get really desperate, that might help 😂 📢📢📢 Congrats on coming out ❤️

If you loved that rainbow house, look up the equality house. It was done not only out of pride and support, but also out of spite towards homophobes across the street from it. It also has a trans visibility house besides it.

The rainbow flag is to symbolize the entire LGBTQ+ community, so this wasn't just male gay or anything. It was all the queerness! I hate when people believe it's just gay men who own the pride flag... In my country it has always represented the entire community.

Or you just never noticed before, before I came out as MtF trans amongst my friends anyway, I was constantly depressed and numb to everything to a point that I just stopped seeing the world the way others do (cause you know depressions neat and can literally make you stop processing color and all things that would generally make it go away) after coming out I literally spent a half hour crying in my car at my work parking lot before I had to clock in because all the bright colors and stuff I noticed I had never even realized were there, it's funny how feeling happy and comfortable affects our ability to perceive the world around us, now it feels like pride flags follow me everywhere too lol
While watching I was crocheting the blue basket in a set of small stackable rainbow baskets for upcoming baby. I made froeballs before in the six rainbow flag colours, both crocheted and felted ones and a rainbow rattle (with bi flag colours at the other end). What else to make for a rainbow family baby?
Friendly fyi, a rainbow baby is also a term for a baby born after a miscarriage or similar death. Though rainbow decorations are great and not gendered at all, it's so hard to find non gendered children's items.

Okay I had my confirmation party (it's like a thing in finland where your like comfirmed as a Christian idk if it is a thing somewhere else. Definitely talk to them about it if it's hurting you!!! They need to learn to recognize you as a man, and it'll be easier for them once you start your transition if they start referring to you with your correct pronouns and name now!!!
You don't need to transition to be trans. They're not fully accepting if they don't start accepting you NOW. You ARE a man now, is whether they're willing to see that you've always been a man or not.
If they put criteria for accepting you here, what's to say they won't add more later? this isn't unconditional love.
Tell them you've always been a man. If they can't see it then you'll find new family that can.

My name is ___ And if you can't accept that, you are uneducated and oldschool. If you want to learn I can help you understand, but it takes two to make it work. I am willing to teach if, and ONLY IF you are willing to listen. I understand mistakes are going to happen, but the least you can do is try."
It might seem harsh, but I was even harder on my family (and I haven't even told them my name or pronouns, just sexuality and the gender identity of friends). The point is, mistakes are cool if they correct themselves and are willing to listen. If not, they are assholes. It's a hard truth, the fact that my grandparents might not wanna go to my wedding unless I marry someone "with a real gender" (male or female) but honestly, if that's how they feel, I am not sure I even want them to be invited. I guess you have to weigh here. But firstly, try to educate. If that doesn't work, then you will have to decide whether family or your identity is more important to you. We should not have to do that, and it's bullshit that we do, but we shouldn't have to face homophobic/transphobic bullshit from people who are supposed to love us unconditionally.

I think it's common for family to accidentally deadname or misgender, in that case it's just something that will take them time to get used to using the correct language. But for them to not even try, and to come up with some BS excuse is not right and you don't need to accept their excuse - You're a man NOW though be nothing will change that, and they should be respecting your wishes NOW.
I did read about a trans person whose family had been deadnaming and misgendering them for years. A friend visited with them and every time the family deadnamed or misgendered them the friend blasted an airhorn at the offending family member 😂 apparently it only took one day for the problem to stop. So if you get really desperate, that might help 😂 📢📢📢

Congrats for having a good teacher! My therapist asked me about if I wanted to get a "partner", consistently not gendering a potential loved one for me. And I'm a lesbian, so I felt relieved to explain it was a girlfriend we were talking about. I still want to be single right now, but felt very accepted by my therapist using this language! She might've looked in my file though, since I was out to my last therapist, since she also was a lesbian and lived with a woman! Loved her, and love my current therapist too!

If you loved that rainbow house, look up the equality house. It was done not only out of pride and support, but also out of spite towards homophobes across the street from it. It also has a trans visibility house besides it.
I would LOVE it if they did this for all the pride flags i.e. bisexual, pansexual, asexual, non binary, trans etc. I mean how amazing would that be!!
Also, I have a rainbow-coloured teapot in my house and I call it "the gay teapot" and it's my favourite teapot :D
The rainbow flag is to symbolize the entire LGBTQ+ community, so this wasn't just male gay or anything. It was all the queerness! I hate when people believe it's just gay men who own the pride flag... In my country it has always represented the entire community.

Or you just never noticed before, before I came out as MtF trans amongst my friends anyway, I was constantly depressed and numb to everything to a point that I just stopped seeing the world the way others do (cause you know depressions neat and can literally make you stop processing color and all things that would generally make it go away) after coming out I literally spent a half hour crying in my car at my work parking lot before I had to clock in because all the bright colors and stuff I noticed I had never even realized were there, it's funny how feeling happy and comfortable affects our ability to perceive the world around us, now it feels like pride flags follow me everywhere too lol
While watching I was crocheting the blue basket in a set of small stackable rainbow baskets for upcoming baby. I made froeballs before in the six rainbow flag colours, both crocheted and felted ones and a rainbow rattle (with bi flag colours at the other end). What else to make for a rainbow family baby?
Friendly fyi, a rainbow baby is also a term for a baby born after a miscarriage or similar death. Though rainbow decorations are great and not gendered at all, it's so hard to find non gendered children's items.

Okay I had my confirmation party (it's like a thing in finland where your like comfirmed as a Christian idk if it is a thing somewhere else. Also in finland it's not really that people would be religious or something but you get money and the camp where you most likely go before your confirmation is a great experience for most people) but to the point I had a fucking huge rainbow unicorn cake and it tasted so good.
