- I know that there are a lot of videos about building a belt grinder, but looking at the possibilities and applications of such a grinder, I couldn't resist to build it, especially that most of the materials I already had. The rollers and drive wheel I used came from the pallet truck.

I've got to stop watching these builds. I don't know which one to build FIRST ! WOW...I love these builds!!! THANKS FOR POSTING
Cutting, tapping, drilling, welding, painting - finally awesome belt grinder.
Wow truly a nice simple effective machine. You should be very proud. I made one a couple years back just out of scrap and a treadmill motor. I had like 3 bucks in it and though it does still do a good job I thin it is time to do another one right. I will be blending a few that I seen Together but this is really close to what I want to build.
That is the greatest can opener I ever saw!
Great video and belt grinder!
Such a tool make life easier :)
Thanks 😁
🖖😊
That's true. If you make a disk sander from the pulley on the motor, this machine will be more useful. Since i built mine, i can sharpen my drill bits accurately. Sorry for spamming, but here is mine: ruclips.net/video/N-B4-VYqd3k/видео.html
That's one awesome grinder! Love the versatility.
After watching well made video production and quality builds I stumbled on this video and I’m like: boy that is some crude rough measuring and all… then I’m like… man that’s still better than what I would muster up.
Good job
Very nice! I started one about four years ago I really need to get back to it. You have given me a couple ideas.
Thank you Very much 😀 I am glad that the film was useful for something :)
People who have never gone through that with a bench grinder don’t REALLY know what it’s like to want a belt grinder. It’s like a rite of passage: you must wear out at least one bench wheel before you get a fancy belt setup.
Funny to me cuz when I just started I burned the motor of my grandpa's grinding bench. It was 50 years old but still..
100% facts... lol
Great video. You have some new innovations, particularly the use of a compression counterbalance instead of an expansion spring. Don't know why more people don't do that. Expansion springs break all the time. Since you don't have a mill you should use your plasma cutter more often. It seems to leave a nice clean edge. Loved that you slotted with it. Would have liked to have seen how it did on the curved slot. I really enjoyed watching you work. Looks like this 4th of the July weekend I'll be starting on mine. Sorry honey.
Buying the motor for the one I’m building tomorrow! Fun build.
It's crazy how much tools you can make yourself that are cheaper and better
Thank you, especially for the dimensioned pics.
I am glad that I could help :) Regards
Love that Coke can trick!
Great grinder!
This goes on my ToDo list!! Great work!! Well done!!
Dziękujemy za film. Świetna robota.
very clever use of the plasmacutter, thanks for this brilliant idea !!
Un espectáculo, siempre sigo tus trabajos, sería genial un tutorial con las medidas. Exitos futuros.
You are a wery smart guy like made in poland 😎.
Keep Up The god work.
Excellent job !!! I really like the design of this unit. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much :)
That's what I'm looking for ...a sander that don't require a alot of out sourced parts..I like every thing to be in house
Great job, thank you brother. You are so talented
Your the friggin man this is so cool . Bravo genius genius !
I would give more thumps up they won't let me! great build!!
Thank you 😁
I like this design. The circumfrence of the wheels on the grinding surface and backing plate should be colinear. This will ensure no space between the belt and backing plate. Your setup has about 1/8th space between belt and plate. This will give bevel grinds a radius.
Wow! Beautiful work!
Found the video I wanted, Great work and love it
Thank you 😁
Awesome work! There's _always_ room for one more homemade belt grinder on youtube.
Thank you :)
The further you get away from this belt grinder the better it looks!!!
Younus Dar if you meant looking at it from another town I agree!!
I love these kinds of videos, I just wish there was a way to get the plans to build this. I would pay for them.
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽wowwwwwwwwwww keep putting up all this great content man ure incredibly talented God Bless💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I learnt lot-lot by watching your videos! Thx
Beautiful work respect😁
Well done 👍 was excellent easy information
Awesome build man! This is the best how to that ever watched on a belt grinder! 👏👏
Thank you very much:)
Сколько просмотрел фидеороликов- этот самый простой в исполнении, орегинальный!!!
I like the use of the jack.
וואו איזה עבודה כל הכבוד לך
Very nice work in belt grinder wow awesome idea
I realy like this homemade belt grinder
I sulute you 👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝
Thank you 😁
Very nice. Love the adjustability n using a ram instead of spring for tension. Maybe down the line you can wire in a potentiometer or a step switch so you can adjust the speed. Another great build though. I want one
Certainly adjustment would be useful and I will try to connect :) Thank you for the comment :) Regards
Great machine! One bit if advice: you need to turn the gas spring around so that the oil inside lubricates the seal!
I would never have thought of that! Thanks bruv.
I like use of the drill press post as a stay to secure the plate when drilled. It's the small things that help. thanks for the video.
nice job , bravo from middle East 🤗
Thank you 😀 Regards :)
What an ingenious idea. Use a scissor jack to assist placement.
Awesome.. Neered more design details pix👍❤
Dewalt, Hitachi, Porter Cable and Bosch downvoted this video. Amazing work !
Thanks 😁
Great work.
Thank you :)
Bardzo dobra robota. Świetna maszyna do dalszych prac.
Dziękuję 😀 Napewno usprawni pracę nad kolejnym projektami:)
Pozdrawiam:)
Came here from Made in Poland. A guy there had said you have a good channel yourself. He was right! I've subbed to your channel.
BTW the coke can made me LOL.
Thank you :)
Yup, I am going to construct me one of those. All I need is the steel, a welder, and hardware. Lmao
Good project to make with my everlast welder and some scrap metal. thanks for this.
Great work. Next time you might consider plasma cutting the radial slot.
Excellent experience well done if I try I can do but I never done my self 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The most important thing is to dare and undertake construction and you will certainly succeed :) Thank you :)
right that's it i realy need to get in the shed an start makeing stuff again!! been wanting to make one off these for ages as i make swords and knifes and i gring the blades on a cheep buggerd belt sander i now have to atach my drill to to get it to work!! that said it dose work fine could do with a bit more power though, not to much or i'll loose my fingers haha, love you videos!!
Very nice work. Congratulations.
Thank you :)
Maravilloso trabajo amigo saludos
szlifierka pierwsza klasa !! Profesjonalna robota
Dziękuję 😀 Pozdrawiam
Dobra robota, szacun za wykonanie 👏👍
Dziękuję 😀 Pozdrawiam
Nice design. Just a note for people who are gonna build one after seeing this...you DON'T need THAT much weld bead on stuff!!! You'll probably save yourself a week of work and $50 in wire if you just weld things as much as they actually need to be, LOL :-D
Good job❤❤❤
Amazing job, dude! Really nice! 😃
Thank you 😀 Regards
Wow! Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Good job. Ya gotta build a belt grinder; it's a rite of passage! Feel free to embed your video on our homemade tools forum :)
best belt grinder ever, gooood job
Great video one of the best belt grinders I have seen and also it looks easy to build with scrap metal
Thank you very much 😀 Regards
Wow... that thing is amazing. Great job!
Thank you 😀
Bravissimo❤️👍👍👍👍👍!!!
absolutely love the colour scheme. I'll be starting my belt grinder soon and I'll be hard pressed not to do orange
That is one of the best I have seen. I would love to build the same thing. Any chance you would provide some measurements and other necessary information? I am willing to pay for the info. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you :) I give you a link to the photo with dimensions :) photos.app.goo.gl/uBezatsurbhpagJaA
Oh, and the plasma cutter. Can't forget that.
Lustig meiner sieht fast genau gleich aus und ich hab auch nen Hochdruckreinger Motor
bottle opener. perfect.
thank you 😀
Nice Spark Generator you built :)
Thank you:)
Beautiful...... especially it's 45 to 90 degree inclination and vertical to horizontal setup
Thank you 😁

Great job!!, and most of all, thanks for sharing your pics with the measures!!. That will help a lot. Keep it like that!!!💪
Where can i Get photos and plans please?
@@filipstrelicak5227 I believe I got them from the video, there were pics I can´t see now, send me your email and I'll send them to you as I saved them by the time.
Awesome, now you just need a forge. LOL
Nice work man. Almost identical to mine except I used treadmill motor and speed control☺ One good thing to do is get some ceramic stove glass and attach to your platen (double sided tape and small "shelf" beneath it) Otherwise over time you'll wear into it 😉
You had a brilliant idea with mounting the treadmill motor, it's a pity that I didn't think about it myself :) Thank you :) Regards
@@WorkshopFromScratch Yeah it works very well and there is always a large flywheel on it that can be used as the drive wheel ☺ Speed control is nice so wood doesn't burn from high speed. Subbed to see what you come up with next and greetings from Ireland 🍀
In the case of woodworking, speed control is very necessary, I also need to mount speed control because maximum speed is not always needed :) Greetings from Poland :)
@@WorkshopFromScratch Treadmill motor is nice because it's dc so easy enough to control speed. If your motor is ac, maybe look at a variable frequency drive (Google VFD) 👍
Amazing
Man that works it's amazing, I'm from Argentina, I would like to try made one for me, it so possible to have we plans, to take the rigth measures.
PD: THANKS for share this videos
E muito inteligente eu tô me aperfisuando graças a você muito obrigado
عمل رائع ومفيد
Nicely done. Thought this was made in poland at first.
Thank you very much 😀
I was confused at first too. The paint was the wrong colour...
ماشلله به این همه هوش👏👏🖒
Oh ya very good. Versatile!
Thank you very much:)
Good job 👍👍👍👍👍
Bonjour, pourriez vous nous donner les dimensions des pièces svp merci. Très bon boulot !
Very creative and nicely done!!!
I thought I had been unsubscribed from Made in Poland for a minute...😁 New Subscriber!!!👍👍
thank you very much 😀 Regards :)
WOW!!! You put about 10 times more weld than actually needed. but it's an ok idea...
Excelent job
Thank you :)
Looks good!!
Very much admired your work !!! Definitely like ;))) the Most simple project of grinder.
Thank you very much:)
Недавно подписался на канал.
Этот умелец токарный станок ещё не собрал??
😉
Probably mentioned already. Your motor has unshielded bearings which will allow metal dust in and you'd want to prevent that. If the bearings bind up, it might score the shaft, etc. Nice build!
