As a home chef who has also worked in professional kitchens AND comes from an Italian and Swedish background on my mothers side, it’s safe to say I am GEEKED!! The compact dishwasher reminds me of the ones in industrial kitchens where you run a sanitizing cycle post wash and rinse. Loving the chef knives, Swedish inspired pancakes, and nonna’s cookbook too! Honestly the only thing they’re missing is the spray nozzle sink attachment (which I would LOVE) and a crate that acts as a chair so you can eat your 5 min lunch/cry out of stress/hit your vape in the back like a REAL CHEF 😂
LMAO that's hilarious because I've also worked food service & every time I build a bar or restaurant I always put the shitty cheap chairs out back specifically for that reason 🤣
They could just add the trash bin animation to the built-in sinks as well, since that's where it's placed in most kitchens anyways, or at least make it so that it can be combined with a sink. Wishful thinking. But I'm super happy with this pack, so many good things and updates!
With nove objects you can put the base game recycling trash can in the counter. Raise it up 1 or 2 so the top just shows through the counter. The counter still works, trash works and it kind of looks like a cutting board.
As an interior designer it has always driven me up the wall that the half tile doesn’t go to the bottom of the upper cabinets. Backsplashes should go to the cabinets. Especially since it is called a kitchen pack. So it isn’t just for bathrooms.
I am in love with that sink! That feels kind of weird to say but I hardly ever get that "kitchen sink feel" from the ones I have... and I love that the island counters have the drawers type stuff on the correct side instead of under the overhang. Time to finish the other half of the video... ooh, nice knife block! Great video, as always.
Absolutely going to add this. So much in this with especially the cabinets are my vibe completely and I always wanted my sims being able to start a food truck type of thing to work with while having toddlers ☺️ something the parents can manage and take turn on while looking after the baby

I'm slightly amused by how much she is over-selling the "niceness" and "prettiness" of these chunky-plain base game items. It's obvious she doesn't play with mods, which is ok, but mods tend to be more realistic looking and more aesthetically pleasing.
