I play this in my early war games, while using conscript spam. Everything fielded is inexperienced except for this beast. Real fun games. But I seldom getting even one hit because my opponent usually throws the kitchen sink at the thing. Never killing it, but pinning it into uselessness. Even though it does not kill much itself, the rest of my force generally gets left alone and run rampant across the board.
Just seen the Russian book and the KV-2 has "Slow Traverse" Which has the same wording as "Slow to load" rule. Did they get rid of the Slow Traverse rule??? Love these videos bro! :D.

I do like that the KV is an infantry support tank as opposed to a tank v tank choice. Feels good given the Soviet traditional troop swarm doctrine.
“Some KV2s mounted a flamethrower in the turret” who made that card?? They’re talking about the KV8, which had the KV1’s turret, not the KV2’s.
